Chapter 2
"Why?!" They both chorused
"Well, you know how in my old school I um.. got bullied well I didn't tell you guys the full reason. I told you guys that they would call me stuff but it wasn't just that. I was also like really claustrophobic. I still am but not that bad. Obviously no one knew that so when one day I had an attack in class, the bullying got worse. Like people would mimic me and it was terrible and I literally had no one at this point because my best friend from primary and me had a fight and we weren't talking. Because of all that i started to get panic attacks as well. It was like the worst time, I absolutely hated it. Then yesterday at the park those girls that were coming towards us they were like worst out of everyone in that shit hole of a school and I don't know yesterday when I saw them it just took over. I can usually control it but I just couldn't yesterday." I took a shaky breath in realising that I as crying. I guess that this is the point that they both realised it as well as they both came forward to give me a hug and held me as I cried.
"Hey Mari, Lis, Helium!" We herd being yelled across the field and we turned around to see that it was my older brother Lorenzo shouting. I quickly turned around to wipe the remaining of the tears of my face, internally thanking the gods of makeup for making me wear waterproof makeup.
"Hey, Sam. What's up?" I heard Helia ask referring to his middle name Samuel as everyone calls him Sam except from our mum when he's in trouble. I turned back but kept my gaze on my bottle so he won't notice that I've been crying. You see Sam and I are really close and he can read me like an open book and vise versa. So one look at me and he'll know that something is up and I don't want to worry him since he has enough stress with his A-levels being this year as he's only a year older than me.
"Nothing much. But I just wanted to ask if you guys wanted to..." he trailed of and I could feel his eyes on me. "Mari, what's the matter?" He asked worry laced in his voice. See I didn't even have to look at him for him to know that something was up.
"Nothing. I'm good." I answered trying my best to look him in the eye.
"Don't lie to me Maria. Now tell me what the matter is." He said stepping closer to me.
"I'm fine Lorenzo." I answered using his whole name and managing to look him in the eye. I could see he opened his mouth to press me again but then the bell rang. Saved by the bell I guess.
"We are caring this on at lunch."
" I would love to Samuel but I have revision so no can do." I said while grabbing my bag. "So see ya later Sam!" I told him cheerfully then legged it to form.

Thankfully, I had managed to avoid Sam at lunch. Instead of hanging out with my friends I had made the excuse to revise. Now we were in last period English a class that I shared with Alicja.
"Hey so you know how we were with Sam during lunch..." she started hesitantly
"Yeh" I replied while narrowing my eyes slightly
"Well, he was pressing us to tell him what was wrong with you at lunch and um... we might have told him?" It sounded more like a question.
"Guyyyys! He's going to be even more protective now." I whined.
"Sorry"
"It's okay lis. He was going to find out anyway. It's cool." Then she lightly chuckled.
"What?" I asked suspicious
"Nothing it's just that I love the way you are moaning about your older brother getting over protective."
"I know. It's sweet that he cares so much and everything but it can be piss taking when he goes over bored." Then we both started laughing at my older brother's protectiveness.
"Alicja, Maria are you both paying attention." Miss Howard asked us.
"Yes, miss." We said at the same time. Miss just raised her eyebrow at us not really believing us but not asking again and went back telling us about the importance of Beatrice in 'Much ado about nothing'.

"Come in!" I shouted at the same time throwing my phone to the side. The door slowly open to reveal Sam standing there. "What's up Sam?"
"We have new neighbours."
"Cool. I don't care. Is there something else you want Lorenzo or can I get back to my phone?"
"Lis and Helium told me what happened yesterday. But I wanna know why you didn't tell me?"
I sighed "Sam you know how you get when I have a panic attack. I just didn't want to worry you especially with your A-levels this year." I told him truthfully.
"You know I'm going to worry more when you don't tell me stuff like this. So please next time if you don't want me to worry them tell me. Okay?"
"Sure, I promise."
"So now that's done with mum wants us to go to the mall with her. She said she wants you ready and down in ten minutes."
"Ughh, you could have told me that earlier. Now get the feck out so I can get ready." Sam chuckled but thankfully left.
I really don't want to go to the mall with mum it's always so boring I always get so bored. I thought as I started to pull some girlfriend jeans and a beige coloured jumper. Lastly I pulled some biker boots on and left my hair in its natural waves. Thankfully I hadn't taken my makeup of yet so that saved me 25 minutes. Then I grabbed my wallet and ran down stairs in record speed. I might hate shopping with mum but I do love shopping.
