Savior

Stefan quickly stepped forward and tried to lift the board from the child's body in order to rescue the child. The board was too heavy even for him. He did not know just how the child survived till now after getting hit by the fallen board. Just after lifting a small part, he realized that the child's head was covered in blood, his back was bloody, and his breathing was weak.

He understood that the child needed medical assistance immediately, otherwise, he won't be able to survive. He asked Heli if he could use his powers to rescue the child.

'Host, you are still a novice now. You cannot use too much magic, that is, beyond your body's limits. Just a moment ago when you saved Ethan, l wanted to tell you about this, but, then l forgot because of the instructions, Ethan was giving you about healing magic. You don't have much mana, left in your body now', answered Heli.

'What should l do know? We need to do something, otherwise, the child will die from blood loss', said Stefan anxiously.

'Host, you forgot? You still have healing potions with you. You can let the child drink two drops from it'.

'Why only two drops and not the whole bottle?' asked Stefan, but quickly took out one bottle from the system's inventory.

'Because this healing potion is very powerful. Five drops are enough for an adult, but a child needs only two drops otherwise his small body would explode', Heli explained.

'I see, then I will give him two drops first' Stefan answered and opened the bottle quickly.

''Child, can you hear me?'' he asked while trying his best to keep the child awake.

There was no response from the child. Stefan understood that he won't be able to ask the child for cooperating with him. He kneeled down and lifted the board to go under it. Using his back, he held the board and, after turning the child, quickly fed him two drops of potion.

He breathed a sigh of relief after seeing that his wound has started recovering. He put the bottle back into the system's inventory and used his hand to send the child outside. Next, he used all his power to uplift the board with the help of his back and threw it towards the other side.

He quickly went to check the child's condition and took a relaxed breath after realizing that the child's breathing was stable. He took the child carefully in his arms and observed him closely.

The child had light blue hair, his forehead was covered in blood. He had a cute nose, his mouth was closed into a pout and his cheeks were chubby. He was wearing a blue jacket and short black pants. Upon looking closely, Stefan felt that he was seeing a fairy child.

Rounding up, the child was extremely adorable. Stefan decided to ask the townspeople, about this child's information and why was he left here alone.

After coming out of the shop, he realized the shop's condition was very bad, and it could collapse at any moment. He feared, upon imagining, what would have happened to this cute child if he had not walked here and heard the child's voice.

Thankfully, he walked here and heard the child's call for help.

He decided to find someone and ask about this child from them. After walking some distance, he heard some noises and groans of pain. He quickly walked towards the noise and saw many people sitting and tending to the wounds of other people.

He walked towards one of them, who had claw marks on his chest and was tending to his own wound. ''Let me do it'', he said, and quickly put the child down after spreading some clothing.

The man looked at him, with gratitude in his eyes, as if seeing his savior.

He helped the man to lie down and took the bandages from him. After removing the bloodied bandages completely. He took a deep breath upon seeing the wound so closely. It was very deep and would at least take one year to fully recover from it.

'Heli can l use my healing powers now?' he asked.

'You have recovered a small amount of mana, host. But you can close the wound at most. The nutrition and blood loss he lost would not be recovered with your powers', answered Heli.

'Okay! l will try my best, he said and took a long breath, and started concentrating his mana in his hands. At that moment, his hands started glowing green, and he bought it close to the wound. The wound was healing rapidly, but, Stefan was having difficulty maintaining the power because his body only recovered a part of mana, and he was trying to apply more than he had.

'Stop, host! You cannot continue inputting mana in your hands anymore, otherwise, the mana pool in your body will suffer unrepairable damage', Heli said anxiously.

''Brother?'', just then a voice interrupted them.
