Listers

Amaya sat across from the group with her legs crossed. They were still quiet trying to take in the fact that someone only a few years older than them had been a killer since she was younger than they are now. Amaya explained that she was able to tell them this information only because the agency no longer exists. The agency was known to the public but their assassins were never revealed to anyone. She went on to explain that the group of assassins within the agency was known as the Listers. Amaya explained that they had a black list or a kill list, which is how most of them referred to it. The Listers were given a name off of this list and sent to get rid of them.

The agency was the first to use cybernetic implants to improve their agents' talents. The implants were fully loaded combat chips that held almost all manners of combat, including weapons skills. Though these implants were nearly perfected they've vanished since the abolishment of the agency. Anyone that knew about these implants has more than likely been killed and any remaining alive believed that Mortem had taken them for their own use in the Black District. These implants made Amaya into a Lister at only sixteen, the youngest agent ever recruited. Now she was going to be training eighteen year olds to fight with similar techniques.

"So when do we start?" Jakub asked eagerly to start his training. "I used to be an athlete but I never learned how to fight. I wasn't one for fighting before, but after meeting everyone here I'm more than willing to fight for them."

"That was cute, right Emms?" Nicole asked her grinning like she was up to something.

Emily sighed. "I mean I guess it was but I don't disagree with him. Instead of hand to hand or weapon combat I just want to learn more about my soul and get that as strong as I possibly can."

Light sat eagerly in the corner seemingly itching to start combat training again. Torture may not have been a thing she could handle mentally very well, but fighting was a while other thing.

Light told Nicole stories about being a Valkyrie and what it meant. They were mainly the warriors of death, one of the strongest in combat amongst the harbingers. Though they are more known for their intelligence gathering and infiltration of societies.There have been many times where the Valkyries have come to earth to interfere with other's plans. They are one of the few that can come here of their own will.

"Valkyries love to fight when given the chance." Light said.

Emily and Jakub looked at her wide eyed. Wondering why she would just say what she was so openly.

"Oh don't worry they already know what I am." She smiled looking at the two.

"Aside from studying souls and combat. My daughter and I have been looking into the Harbingers for quite some time." Dr.Reinheart explained.

He went on to tell the group about his discovery of emotionless beings he referred to as Skellys, he later learned from Light that he found reapers. He tracked their emotional state and tied with people noting they never showed interest, happiness, sadness but they did show pain. Almost like everything that was good or bad for them just hurt them.

"Well I guess if you know about Light we can tell you. They're called the heartless a group of reapers made from their leader. We were made from the leader's daughter. We have our hearts and feel everything like a human but technically are supernatural beings." Emily informed him.

Dr.Reinheart was excited by the news of meeting a reaper. He then went on to explain that he found traces of others that were not reapers nor valkyrie. He was curious of what they could be but he never could dig into it.

"Your training with me won't start today. I still want to get a feel for what kind of people you all are." Said Amaya.

"I have a question for you Amaya, do you know anything about Reign?" Asked Nicole.

"I know the leader of Reign, not personally I just know he was a top Lister for the LIA. Blood is what they called him but his name is Nicholas Tress. The man known for the most names taken off the black list. His brother was a researcher in the Agency."

"Well him and his brother are reapers. I mean his brother is dead now, we're sent here to find out what the heartless were up to and managed to run into Dr.Tress. He is dead now." Emily told Amaya.

Amaya sat there thinking over what she had just been told. "So you want to go after Reign because you killed Bloods brother and he retaliated."

They all nodded. "We're going to tear down Reign from the bottom up. We will avenge Nicole's father, they will regret what they've done." Light said.

The group grew anxious and the tension in the room had risen. "With my help you guys will be able to do this. Not only will I train you but I will join you in this. I've always wanted to take on Blood and this is my chance." Amaya told the group.

They had been talking all day getting to know the Doctor and Amaya. It had grown late and they now planned to start their training tomorrow. They would stay enrolled in the school but would study souls with the doctor. This would become Emily and Jakub's chance to learn everything they need to know about this world. Everything they need to know so that they can face the reapers and find out exactly what the King is planning.

The group headed to the car that was parked around back. "Make sure you guys come back tomorrow so we can make a plan of action." Amaya told them leaning against the window. On the ride home the group chatted about everything they learned today and the things to come. "This world is a lot darker than I thought it was. I thought this was going to be some happy world with powers and the occasional reaper. Turns out that the reapers are the reason the world even has powers and now they're harvesting people for that power, but for what?" Jakub wondered.

The things they would learn soon enough would make everything more clear to them.
