Abomination

"What are you?" The creature asks as its head moves closer to Maddox to see what exactly it was that made him retain his human-like appearance

He felt no threat from Maddox as he gave off no essence or miasma, which, although peculiar, meant that he probably used up his miasma to prevent his transformation from occurring, which, although it seemed irrational, had happened before with only mild success. Maddox seeing the creature advance towards him, led to him feeling a sense of fear as he brandished his shank-like weapon wanting to find some way to deal with the creature.

Still, this fear soon evolved into hate leading him to feel nothing but rage at this creature that was harming his family, leading him to charge the creature. The creature only scoffs before its appendages move and try to restrain Maddox so that he can be further studied back in his laboratory.

Maddox seeing the tentacles rushing toward him, starts attempting to dodge them to get close enough to the head of the creature so he can end it in one strike. Still, their speed is inhumane, and Maddox is struck in the chest and slammed against the wall behind him with audible cracking that can be heard as a few of his ribs are cracked. Looking up, the creature was slowly approaching him, about to knock out Maddox. He did not want to end up dead after just finding out about these things and what they had been doing to his sister, and most of all, he still wanted to try and save his sisters from the cruel fates they had been suffering from until now.

So in the act of defiance, Maddox weakly stood up, brandishing the stake that did not get knocked out from his grip as he stared face to face with the creature that was observing him up closer now.

"My my, you sure are a strong-willed brat while still so young," The creature says as the tentacles rush towards Maddox once more to finish the job, but jerks to a stop suddenly.

Then the whole body of the creature spasms as unearthly shrieks ring out through the room from the mouth of the creature as the stake could be seen embedded in the left eye while black tar-like blood spurts from the wound. Maddox seeing that the face was close enough to him, threw his shank with whatever strength he could muster, which led to it embedding itself in its eye. As it left his grasp through the creature something, he saw something never thought possible as it saw dim golden light and felt the tiniest bit of essence on the tip of the shank as it flew into its eye.

"AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! YOU ABOMINATION!!!" The creature shouts out in unbearable pain as an arm with the skeleton hand quickly grasps the shank firmly before yanking it out of its eye, which stared smoking as if on fire

Staring now at Maddox with a hint of fear throughout its body as it shakes and wriggles around as a regular tentacle applies pressure on the stabbed eye. The shank Maddox had once used now burst into flames like his tazer.

"You abomination... it would be best if you did not exist in this world... SO I SHALL WIPE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FROM EXISTENCE!!!" The creature shouts as many of its tentacles open to show the sharp needle barbs, but Maddox feels they will not be for restraining him this time.

As the tentacles revealed themselves, the hoarse voice of the creature suddenly began to turn deep and jumbled as loud mutterings began to exit its mouth that Maddox had a feeling would cause something terrible to happen if he let the monster complete the chanting. Still, Maddox cannot do anything in this situation since he has nothing to defend himself with, and if he tries something, he will end up dead from either the tentacles or whatever the creature is doing. Seeing no way out, Maddox accepts his death as he sees nothing more he can do after all he has done ends.

"Ara~ ara~ what do we have here, Belphegor? Are you trying to kill my little abomination, as you called him?" Andrea lets out from behind the creature named Belphegor.

A cold feeling envelops Belphegor as he senses the one thing had forgotten before he attained his position within the infected, and that was the sense of death approaching to take him to the pits of hell. The next thing Belphegor knows is that his vision starts spinning around before he can do anything before jerking to a stop on the floor, only to see that his body and head are now detached before he even knew what had happened as his consciousness faded into the afterlife.

"That pig didn't deserve a quick death for harming my babies," Andrea says as she flicks her hand, and her now elongated nails, which were once dripping in the blood, become clean with the blood splashed off onto the floor, and some landing on Maddox.

"Mother?" Maddox asked in disbelief and shock since he never expected to be saved by her

Andrea looks at Maddox before going to her daughters and stabs her fingernails into their necks, allowing her miasma to enter their bodies.

"Mother! What are you doing?!" Maddox cries out, not understanding what she is doing to his sisters

Andrea says nothing before Maddox only is pushed back against the wall and held there; more pain assaults his senses as his broken ribs stab into his lungs, causing him to start coughing blood and gasping for air.

"Listen here, boy, I am not your mother anymore, and my daughters are no longer your sisters, as they never were in the beginning," Andrea states as she checks on her daughter's condition as their bodies transform.

"Wha-"

Further pain assaults Maddox as the force pushes him further against him, causing his internal injuries to worsen with his vision now swimming as his senses are of only pain.

"Listen here, your failure, you will not speak, or else I will truly end your pitiful life," Andrea lets out as she but glances at Maddox before turning her attention to the transformation process again so that she may step in to help if necessary.

"I will now clarify a few things as I feel you played your role quite well. I was a bit surprised at how well you dealt with Belphegor with very little of my help. I knew how you dealt with the three before coming in here, as there is very little within my household that I do not know about. As for how you got these pitiful excuses of weaponry, I can guess that these two helped you with that, so I will be sure to erase any memory they may have of you once they have joined me. Still, though, I do not wish to monolog too much, or else it may be my downfall, so for now, I shall leave you alive to act as a stepping stone for your sister's growth and to remind you of this pain worse than death. Heh, that is if you survive." Andrea lets out as she makes a swiping motion in the air and grabs her daughters before tossing them into space, where they both disappear

"I will save them..." Maddox let out a pained cry of devastation and plea in his voice as he could barely focus on what he was looking at in front of him.

The sound of something whistling through the air whistles out suddenly, with the accompanying sound of something falling to the ground with a meaty thud.

"Huh?"

"I told you not to talk," Andrea states as she also walks to the side and disappears like his sisters, but Maddox can no longer worry about that now as he looks down only to see his right arm was now lying on the ground while he was bleeding from a stump of a shoulder. Maddox falls with the force holding him now gone. Nothing stops him from falling to the floor, unconscious due to excessive blood loss and pain overload.

Maddox wakes up wearing a hospital gown while his left arm has an IV drip in, and his vitals are displayed on a monitor near his bed. His room has a window view with shutters closed, showing that it is late at night as no light comes in through the window. Maddox looks to his right to see that his arm is still missing and that whatever remains is now a bandaged nub of useless flesh. Now feeling how hungry he is, Maddox reaches over and presses the nurse call button to get some answers about how long he had been out and how he ended up here when he should be dead by all rights after enduring so much.

A few moments later, a nurse rushes into the room and sees Maddox sitting up, and with a gasp, she quickly runs out of the room. Maddox was confused as, when one called for a nurse, they would not act like that, so her reaction concerned him. With nothing else to do and feeling too tired to move, he only looks around the room to see that there is nothing inside to signify that someone has been there besides the staff. No relative or person coming to see him hurt a bit as he felt that maybe someone would come.

"-a miracle, I would think, as the boy is now awake, " A female voice rings out from beyond Maddox's door.

"Have you called them yet?" A man's voice asks

"Yes, they said that they would be here shortly to talk to him," The female answers before the door to Maddox's hospital room opens wide to let in a doctor and the nurse from before

"Good, you are awake! How do you feel, young man?" The doctor asks while pulling up a chair near Maddox'd bed

"Like a train decided to run over me..."

"Aha, well, I can say that it is good to see that you are now awake, but before that, I was wondering if you could answer a few questions?" The doctor asks while Maddox has a feeling of unease fall before him as he suddenly sees that the man before him is excluding a dark aura around his body that Maddox can only see as the nurse is acting the same as she checks some things on Maddox's vitals

"If you don't mind, doctor, I would appreciate it if you and the nurse leave, please," A female voice rings out, and as Maddox looks in the doorway is surprised to see Ms. Katherine standing under the doorway, holding a suitcase while two people stand behind her.

The three enter the room, and the doctor quickly stands up before both he and the nurse walk out of the room but not before the doctor glances one more time at Maddox, which he notices. Two people enter the room, Ms. Katherine and another female, standing behind her while a guy closes the door behind them.

"Ms. Katherine? What can I do for you?" Maddox asks hesitantly as he sees something strange now with both her and the lady standing off to the side in the corner of the room. The three of them have a golden aura around emanating from them.

"Maddox, first off, I am glad to see that you are awake now, but before that, I need you to answer some questions first."

"Um... why? Do you work with the police now or something?" Maddox asks since most people do not simply come up to you asking for questions after waking up

"No, but we would appreciate it if you cooperate with us to help us understand what happened at your home and how you ended up in your current... loss," Katherine says as she glances at his missing arm.

"What if I simply say no?"

"Then we would have to make you more comfortable to speak freely about what happened," Katherine states, making Maddox feel wrong about the direction this was heading.

"What... is it that you want to know?"

"What do you know about the Siren?" Katherine asks

"The what?"

Katherine says nothing more but opens the suitcase she had and pulls out a file where a picture is taken out and handed to Maddox to look at. It causes Maddox to drop the picture as the person in the picture is no other than his mother sitting on the lower half of someone, but the rest of the image is photoshopped to hide his mother's assets and who she was on.

"So you know her?" Katherine asks as she retrieves the photo

"I do... she would be my mother..." Maddox states

Suddenly cold sensation is placed upon Maddox's neck as the lady standing in the corner now had a full-blown sword placed against Maddox's neck, ready to take his life while he would be none the wiser.

"You hell spawn, you should all be burned and erased for what your kind has done to humanity..." That was all the lady said in an icy cold voice as she pressed her blade a bit into Maddox's neck, starting to draw forth blood.
