"Come on, Susan. Don't be like that!" Sam said in frustration as he face-palmed his forehead. "Anna is… well, was still my girlfriend when we both betrayed her. Did you really think I was wrong for chasing after her?"

"Well, I guess I don't have a conscience so obviously, I wouldn't know the right thing to do at that shitty point!" 

Sam let out a deep sigh. "Susan, we have to meet and talk things out. It's very obvious that Anna has dumped us and wants nothing more to do with us."

"Are you regretting it?" Susan asked almost immediately. She seemed ready to flare up at the slightest wrong answer she would receive.

"Susan, the only thing I regret was ending things with Anna that way. At least she didn't deserve that. But if you are asking if I ever regret being with you, I don't. I fucking love you," Sam confessed.

He felt very happy being with Susan and the proof lay in the fact that he didn't regret that his relationship with Anna had ended.
