A Pleasant Surprise

~Four Days Later~

It was around 4 AM when Roy's flight landed in Danastan. From the airport, he got straight into one of his cars as Zane held the door open for him.

"You made sure my wife doesn't know I'm coming in today, right?" Roy inquired as soon as he strapped his seatbelt.

Charles who was sitting in the front passenger seat nodded. "No one in the house knows about it."

"Good." Roy smiled and picked up his phone. He was serious about surprising Anna with his sudden return and he did not want anything to ruin it. No slip-offs were allowed.

On the other side, Anna was having a really sweet dream while sprawled on the bed. As her alarm clock was set for 6 AM, she still had two more hours to get out of bed. And she had no idea that her beloved husband who was to return the following day was already on his way home.
