Chapter 5

It's been half a month since they posted one video on Cherry Blossom channel. As the dawn shows itself on the horizon, Chae Ae-ri's popularity on StarCube were getting out of hand day by day.

Starcubers began to upload themselves watching and reacting to Cherry's Photoshoot video. It was a trend that got at least a million views, so more people is interested who is the rising little star on the internet.

International and local calls were pouring in her mother's company. Asking that they wish for Chae Ae-ri to promote their baby products. Due to that. Chae Eun-rin hurriedly go to Asteria company building at the break of dawn.

Chae Ae-ri freshly woke up that day not knowing the ruckus she had caused by using her magic. As her mother was currently absent, her father who were free after signing some paperworks were now playing with her daughter in the Play-room.

The Play-room were only next to Ae-ri's bedroom. The mat they put there were soft and fluffy that she crawled here and there playing with dolls, solving puzzles. Or reading the children's fairy tale books that was on the small bookshelf and act like a real baby.

'Am I properly acting as a baby? I live so many lifetimes but it's the first time to actually experience growing up as a baby with my parents constantly beside me.'

It's not new to be born as a baby but it was definitely new to her to be born with parents that literally takes care of her. Since she was born, there was never a day that her parents didn't spend time with her. Apart from sleeping, she is always with either her father or mother.

"Ae-ri. Do you want daddy to play the music box carousel?" Theodore reckoned to her daughter who were flipping a children book as if she knew how to read it. Which is the truth.

Hearing this, Ae-ri twinkling eyes and bobbing head were evident that she want her father to play it. Theodore chuckled at her daughter quickly close the story book, crawling to his direction.

The music box carousel that her father was talking about were bigger than herself, that's why Ae-ri love looking at it going round and round. The melodies in the music box can be change, but she particularly like hearing twinkle twinkle little star.

'After all. I want to become a mega-superstar...I need to feed my delusions daily.'

Theodore prepared a camera just for this moment. He takes pictures and videos of her daughter looking at the carousel with star-lit purple eyes and moving her head along with the rythm.

"Hahaha...My princess really love the carousel music box." Ae-ri's father hearty laugh were also music to her ears. Her heart were shaken greatly at this time.

The family she has currently we're so loving and harmonious that it felt scary for her, who was unloved and abandoned by her past lives parents on every planet. She felt a stinging pain in her chest. Her first life parents were also loving but she deliberately avoid them.

The moving carousel stop moving indicating the song was finished. "Ae-ri. Shall we go visit mommy at the company?" seeing this, Ae-ri outstretch her small arms to get picked up by her father. After feeding Ae-ri some delight baby formula and dressing her with a sky-blue dress. The father and daughter headed out to the main living room.

When they arrive at the main living room, there was a man with a neat jet black suit, reading and organizing some documents. When he notices the presence of Ae-ri and Theodore, he hurriedly stands up in a proper posture, asking.

"[Sir. Will you be heading out with the young lady?]"

"[That's right, prepare the car right away. And reserve a restaurant near my wife's company. You also come along with us, I will hear the detailed reports on what had taken place in my company along the way.]"

"[Yes, Sir!]" the man bowed and followed them behind while he was on the phone informing the chauffeur of their departure and making a reservation to a restaurant in haste.

Ae-ri look at them back and forth. Because in her past lives, she live in several countries, she understand the English conversation earlier with ease. At this time, she was dying to know what job her father is doing to be this secretive.

'Men in this family were shrouded in veil of mystery. Both my father and older brother who I haven't seen.'

Currently, they are now inside the car. The man earlier which presumably the secretary of her father is sitting on the passenger seat while, Chae Ae-ri sitting on her father's lap are on the back seat.

"[The butler called me earlier. He said that the young master will be flying back to South Korea by the end of the year for vacation.]"

"[Is that so? Make sure to prepare and welcome him. I will also be tagging along to check my son's condition. Did older brother had anything to say after that incident?]"

Theodore were being sarcastic when he asks that to his secretary. And the latter couldn't reply.

"[Sir. That's...]"

"[Forget it, Baker. It's not good to talk about unpleasant stuff, my daughter is here.]" Theodore chuckled dryly at his secretary's bewildered face.

"[Yes Sir!]"

Ae-ri felt the tight tension in the air when the word 'young master' and 'older brother' came out from the mouth of both Secretary Baker and her father.

'If it's young master. It must have been my older brother.' Ae-ri didn't know why her older brother is abroad studying but she's glad that he will be returning for vacation soon. Her parents were worried about him, and she's also curious about her older brother who she hadn't seen.

It was noon and it's her nap time, she blinked sleepily and fall asleep right away. 'Let's forget about father's older brother for the time being.'

It's easy to tell they both don't get along with how sarcastic her father reacted earlier.

She entered the Mental World and headed to Starlynn library. She read some books while she's at it. She's in a lucid dreaming state after all. Time in the Dreamworld is vastly different from the real world, even weeks or months could pass here and it will be nothing to reality.

'Might as well read some books. Maybe I'll be able to find some magic books I need.'

After reading in the Starlynn library, she exited and begun to visit other rooms in her mental world. She opened the colourful doors one by one to see the rooms she might have forgotten.

This time, the blue door she opened were a modern library. It's completely different from her first life library that is filled with ancient books.

All the titles on the books on this library were languages on this planet earth. She crawled to the book-of-life section hall were she kept her past lives on earth.

All her lives on earth counted from 1 to 1,111,111th lives were laid out one by one.

She picks up her current life book. It was a book with only one page written and the rest of the pages were blank, she mentally think of a pen, as she thinks of the object, it appeared before her.

'Let's see...because my past life dream is to be an actress. I would write my primary goal is to become the world's unrivalled actress.'

As she thinks that, the pen moves in itself writing the letters in English.

'And because I decided to become a prolific genius mega-superstar. I would also add becoming a musician and singer-songwriter.'

Chae Ae-ri nodded and smiled as she reads her thoughts being written in her book of life. As much as she is obsess with acting due to her past life regrets. She was also very fond of singing, writing songs, and playing musical instruments. That's why she write it as her secondary goal to do in this life.

'A mega-superstar who is jack-of-all-trades and master to all is also kind of tempting title.'

It's her last life on earth after all. It might not be too bad to go all out.
