On another part of the battle field.
"ISKANDAR!!!!" A black-skinned giant, even larger than Rider, screamed Rider's name as Iskandar, the Persian name of Alexander, moved to deflect a heavy blow from killing him with his blade, his body buckled under the shattering blow as the divine bull pulled-chariot was forced onto the ground.
Rider grinned as Waver Velvet was scared out of his wits.
"DARIUS!!!!" Matching the man's battle cry using his rival's own name, Rider slid Darius's blade down to his guard, drawing him in before punching him off the chariot.
"Who is that!?" Waver shouted.
"Oh, I have quite a bit of history with that King, it was really too bad we never shared a drink." Rider mused as he rubbed his beard.
"ISKANDAR!!!!"
"… Doesn't look like willing to take up that offer." Waver deadpanned.
"True, his current form reflects our third pursuit battle. It seems that our destiny is ever to kill one other." Rider replied.
"Hey… what… the hell... Is that!?" Waver pointed to the army that numbered in the thousands behind Darius III, slowly turning into skeletons armed with weaponry.
"Oh? That… Is Darius's Athanatoi Ten Thousand, his elite soldiers that transformed themselves into moving corpses and walking skeletons… Well, if this is going to be a battle of armies then I'll bring out MY OWN!"
"IONIAN HETAROI!"
Iskander released his trump card, bringing Darius and Waver into the desert that represented the battlefield of his conquest, his loyal comrades behind him.
Waver was stunned by the fact that Rider had a reality marble along with the fact each and every soldier was a weak Servant.
"Raise your cries of war! We're having a rematch with our old foe Darius III!" Rider frowned briefly as the trees and the skies didn't change despite moving into the Ionion Hetaroi, but decided to put that out of his mind.
"AAAALaLaLaLaLaie!!!" Rider screamed his battle cry as he charged the Gordius Wheel against Darius's giant War Elephant of Death.
"AHHHHHH!!!!!!" Waver screamed more as he was embroiled in a high speed multi-angled charged against a giant elephant made out of undead soldiers against the backdrop of historical armies clashing against each other.
It was long and brutal, but the battle ended with the same outcome as it did centuries ago.
After a loud victorious shout, Rider ended his Noble Phantasm.
"Hmm, it's strange that everyone still isn't back yet." Rider noted, "Any ideas, boy?"
Rider grew a bit uneasy at Waver's smirk, that wasn't something he was used to seeing.
"Oi! Rider, this isn't the time for height jokes!"
'Wait, Waver's mouth didn't even move…'
Rider turned around and saw Waver looking petulant, thinking that looking in the wrong direction was an insult on his height.
'But, if the boy is here then-!"
He was too late to react before a blade penetrated his spine.
