I've been asked what happened to us

I thought it would be difficult

But once I started the story

Never knew I'd felt this good

I was thinking I might felt sadness and pain

I was guessing my anger remains

I might be feeling loneliness

I might see my face turned cold

However, as soon as the story unfolds

I felt nothing inside

No hatred, no longing, no malice in words

All smiles inside and out

It was indeed a great day

A time to realize that its all in the past

I am thankful indeed

Greatful that we're now apart
