Gloria looked outside and confirmed that the children were in the toy room. She lowered her voice and asked, "Is there still no news of Candy's mother?"

Everly said, "There has been no news from Maverick."

Gloria was silent for a few seconds. "In my opinion, it's good if you can't find her. If you found the woman and she had other ideas, wouldn't that be asking for trouble? Candy has already treated you as her mother."

Knowing that Gloria stood by her side, Everly did not show her disagreement.

Everly thought Candy had the right to know who her biological mother was.
