*Note: today I didn't think to upload a chapter for two reasons. First, I had a lot of familiar problems and very serious. And second, my doctor changed me a medicine and i didn't feel very well cause of this. But now I'm feeling better so i decided to upload a chapter.
Well, today I don't feel very well so leave a review and suscribe to my patreon if you want to read more chapters.

Have a good day :)
...
The atmosphere was taking shape more and more. It was one of those times that you knew that if you did it right, something could happen between you and the other person. Going from being friends to lovers or at even sex. It was that kind of environment.
"Do you know what?" – I asked suddenly.
"No. Tell me" - said Olive.
We were both staring at each other. We didn't care about our surroundings, because in our mind, in this my moment, only the two of us, Olive and Jacob, existed. The rest seemed illusory, a false scenario whose goal was to create this kind of environment.
"I have had a great time with you. This is fascinating" – I said sincerely.
It may be exciting to see her in the film. But seeing her in person has nothing to do with seeing her behind a screen. That's the undeniable reality.
"I've had a great time with you too..." – Olive said.
The atmosphere became more subtle and before the pleasant noise of the sea water, before the faint sound of the fish swimming, we brought our lips together and kissed.
It was our first kiss. And surely the first of many. But there was a problem that I still had to solve. A problem that cannot wait and that its solution should be immediate or as soon as possible.
[The "Unbreakable Love" peculiarity has been activated. Time remaining until Olive stops loving Abe Portman: 3 weeks 23 hours and 59 minutes]
Ignoring the notification that echoed in my brain, Olive and I continued kissing for a long time. However, in the end I ran out of oxygen and we had to separate.
"I love you, Jacob" – Olive said suddenly.
Her face was flushed, her heart pounding nervously waiting for the answer of the man she loved. Would he accept her, would he reject he? Now she would know.
"Olive, I like you too. You seem to me to be an incredible woman. Good, kind, honest, patient and beautiful. You're my ideal type of girl, but..." – I said.
"There's always a but..." – Olive said disappointed.
"Yes, but in this case, I'm not to blame for that 'But.' I want to go out with you and become your boyfriend but I'm afraid our relationship is just a replacement. A replacement for a love that was never reciprocated" – I said.
What I am going to say now are not exactly nice words. But it is reality, a reality that Olive must know.
"W-What do you mean?" - asked Olive nervously.
But her trembling hands gave her away. She knew perfectly well what Jacob meant, but her mind refused to accept it.
"Listen Olive. I don't doubt in the least your feelings towards me. It is very possible that you really love me, I do not doubt it. But what I do know and I think we both agree is that you still have feelings of love for my grandfather Abe. After all, those feelings have been so strong that it's impossible to forget them in just 3 days. So don't tell me it's a lie or that you've already stopped loving Abe suddenly and just because you met me. Because both you and I will know that it would be a lie" – I said.
Olive was silent, as if she were mute, and continued like this for a while.
"Yes... You're right, I like you, but my heart is confused. I've been loving Abe for years, waiting for his return, waiting for him to fill me with the love I craved. At the time, we were happy, we loved each other. But one day, all of a sudden, he left Emma and me there, without even giving us an explanation of his decision. At first, Emma and I believed that it was temporary, that Abe wanted to explore the current world, just as we once wanted. But as time went on, as the years went by... All our hopes were fading. In fact, everything changed when we received that letter from Abe, his last letter..." - Olive explained.
"What did it say?" – I asked.
I never found that letter, so there are only two possibilities. The first is that he kept it in some secret place or something like that and the second and surely the right one is that he broke it without consideration. A cruel and merciless act towards the women who loved him.
"In that letter, Abe told us that he had fallen in love with another woman, that he had married and that he had children. He also told us never to write to him again and to forget about him. And as if that were not enough, he sent us a family photo where he, his wife and their two children appeared. That letter, that photo, broke Emma and me's hearts" – Olive said while shedding a tear.
Hearing that, I got quite angry. Why he was that cruel? If during your travels you fell in love with another woman, I'm not saying that you couldn't marry her. After all, love is very complicated. But to say such cruel words to the women you previously loved and even attach a photo to rub your happiness, your new life in their faces... That is cruel, very cruel.
"I... I didn't know, I'm sorry" – I said with a sad tone.
"It's not your fault. At first and desperate, we sent him a letter telling him to please tell us that his words were lies and that it was a fake photo, a joke. But we never got any answer... unfortunate" – said Olive.
She seemed about to cry, so I did what a man is obliged to do in these cases and I hugged her tightly.
"Jacob, do you know what Emma and I felt at that moment, upon learning that Abe didn't wanted us in his life and instead married another woman and even had children with her? Do you know how we felt at that moment?" – she asked while shedding tears of sadness.
It must have been a torn feeling. The man you loved left and married another woman and to top it all off he rubbed them all over her face, as if he was saying: "Now I am happy, please never contact me again"
It's cruel, a very cruel act on the part of my grandfather. An act I never thought he would commit. And, for the first time in years, for the first time, I was disappointed for my grandfather's behavior and I'm sure the original Jacob would share my same opinion if he were in my shoes.
"Listen, I know that nothing I say can free you from your pain. But just in case, I'll tell you that my grandfather was never a good husband and a good father" – I said.
Maybe by saying that, Olive calms down a bit. I don't know, it's just an idea that I just came up with right now.
"What do you mean?" - she asked curiously.
Her tears had stopped and she was curious about Jacob's words.
"You see, my father told me that Grandpa traveled almost constantly and neglected his family, making my father, my aunt and even my grandmother suffer. In fact, my father told me that my grandmother often cried about it. Because my grandfather went to God knows where without giving explanations, without saying where he was going. In fact, the letter you mentioned earlier was found by my father and my aunt and they tore it up, maybe that's why you never got an answer or maybe he read it and then it was found by my father and my aunt. I don't know. The only thing I know is that my grandfather was a very good person, a great person, that's indisputable. A person who was surely dedicated to helping people (although I have no idea about that), but he made a mistake that for me is unforgivable. He abandoned his two girlfriends who loved him madly and married with another woman and had children. Family that was also abandoned by him. My grandfather was a great person, but he never took care of the most important thing in his life, his family" – I said.
Those were my true feelings. I don't know what Grandpa did on his travels because of my sealed memories, but... It doesn't matter. The most important thing is the family. At least for me.
"I see... I guess even Abe had those flaws" – Olive nodded.
Everything Jacob had just said was true. Abe was a great person, an excellent lover, a good friend, but... He abandoned them all, including his new family. For Olive, who always put his family before everything, that was an unforgivable sin.
"That's why I know perfectly well that your feelings for Abe, even despite everything I've told you, haven't gone away yet. Olive, I really want you to be my girlfriend and be together forever, but first you need to clear up your feelings. As I said, I am not a replacement for my grandfather, if you become my girlfriend, your feelings for Abe must disappear. I'm not saying that you forget about him and your experiences, no, I'm just asking you to stop loving him and instead love me. Until then, I can't accept your feelings" – I said.
If I accepted her now I would fulfill the mission and even be happy to get my first girlfriend, but it would not be fair to anyone. I knew that the peculiarity would erase those feelings in 3 weeks, but I couldn't bear the thought of her loving another man while she was going out with me, so until she cleared up her feelings, I wouldn't accept her as my girlfriend.
"It's fair. I'll think about it and give you an answer in a few days" – Olive nodded.
Jacob was right. It wasn't fair for her and him to go out together knowing that she still loves another man. That would only hurt both of them.
"Don't be in a hurry. However, I'm going to tell you something and I'll tell you not only to score points, but because I want you to be clear about one thing about me" – I said.
"Tell me" – said Olive.
"I'm not my grandfather. I may look like him in appearance and even in some ways we are the same, but I am not him. I would never put other people before my family. For me, family is sacred and if I have to die in exchange for their well-being, I would offer my life without a doubt. It is not an exaggeration, my words are very serious. I just want you to keep that in mind" – I said.
Those are my true feelings and not empty words spoken to score points with Olive. I swear to you.
