With a confused expression, Asher looked at the screen in front of him.

He is currently reading a story with his mother right now after the breastfeeding session before. He currently felt awkward as he sucked her breast without her permission, especially when she was sleeping.

Asher replied to her greeting, with the same tone but different words.

Clearing her throat, the Guide immediately tried to clear the awkward atmosphere in them.
It would be a bad effect on their first meeting!
She then explained her purpose for being a guide to Asher.

Asher tried to ask her more as he might miss some important things that will be useful.
The Guide might forget something but that's unlikely, though Asher still asked.

The Guide seemed to check something before replying, not minding Asher's question as it means that he's doubting her ability.

Asher stared at his status, which he notices that he's previous name is there.
He also saw that... He's a half human, Mid Half Human? Then his next race is a mystery...
Fate Points? He already know what System points is, but what's Fate Points? He'll asked her later...
As Asher kept staring at his status in front of him, Eleanor notices it and looked worried.
Does her beloved son found the story boring?!

Although it's weird that she's literally asking a 2 days old baby, she trusted her motherly instinct to know whether her baby disliked something or not.

Asher answered with a bored tone.

Murmuring with a sad tone in her voice, Eleanor began to contemplated what story her beloved son will like...
Spending some time with her beloved son, she found out that her son is smart enough to tell her if he disliked something or not, which shocked her to core.
'Although he still showed a normal behavior of an baby, It's still... no... I should be thinking like this.'
Shaking her head, Eleanor began to focus on finding a story that her son will like.
Whether her son is not a normal being or even more than that, she will still treat him as her son because she created him!
''Do you like this one? This one? Or... the last one?''
She read the introduction of the story first to her son before asking if he likes it or not.
She keeps bring books to him like Fairy tales about heroes, stories about legendary people, or even a child stories, which normal babies should like, nor can they even understand language in the first place.

Declining every story, specially the last one, Asher sighed tiredly at his mother's stubborn trait.
She didn't seemed give up on giving him books for children he might like.
'It's not like I disliked her stubborn personality for this though... maybe it's a little annoying but I can bear for it...'

''Mhm.''
After a while of trying to find a suitable book that her weird son will like, she finally gave up...
''Hah... I didn't think this can be so mentally consuming...''
Eleanor murmured while wiping her imaginary sweat.
She then looked at her son, who have an impassive face, looking at her.
He hadn't shown any emotion till this day except when he was born.
That emotionless face... whether Eleanor saw someone wearing an impassive expression, she wanted to break those!
She doesn't believe that there's a human that doesn't have or show any emotions.
Because of this, she felt that her 2 days old son is challenging her!
'I'll break that impassive face of yours...! okay, that wasn't the right tone to say, but I just wanna see some emotion in my own son...'
Eleanor inwardly thought, as she bent down to carry her son on her arms.
Her son is still cute, even when he still wears his impassive face.

Pinching her son's baby cheek, she looked at him with her a lovingly gaze as she smiled gently at him.
''And it's my responsibility to make you enjoy your own life.''
After saying those words, she then walked outside of her bedroom to visit her daughter's birthday party.
'Carter will be very surprised when he saw our son... I wonder when will he come back?'
Thinking about her beloved, she felt angry about him as he missed his son's birth.
'I also can't blame him as there was suddenly an increased of demons, invading our territory...'
Well. she just hoped that her husband can come back home safely.
