Chapter 1New Beginnings

Konohagakure.

On a rainy night, the air was thick with anticipation as an elderly woman's urgent voice reverberated within the modest confines of a small house. "Push! Push harder! Someone, quickly bring me a clean towel; the baby is almost here!"

Suddenly, the piercing cry of a newborn shattered the tension in the room.

"Waaaah... waaaah... waaaah..."

A young girl, her eyes wide with excitement, darted forward, clutching a towel. She swiftly handed it to the old woman, who carefully placed the wailing newborn on the fabric, positioning him on his back with his head tilted slightly to ensure a clear passage for his first breaths.

"My baby... Is he okay?" a weak, trembling voice emerged from the shadows of the bed, the anxiety palpable.

"He's perfectly healthy! Just listen to that cry! Do you still doubt him? Hmph! He has your father's face—looks like he's taken after the old man," the old lady reassured, her tone mixing warmth with nostalgia. The pride in her voice seemed to fill the room, echoing the joy of new life.

As she spoke, the old woman gently dried the newborn, her hands deftly maneuvering to regulate his body temperature. The warmth radiating from the baby cast a soft glow in the dimly lit room. She then cradled him in her arms before passing him to his weary mother, who lay on the bed, still recovering from the effort of childbirth.

Suddenly, a childish voice broke through the emotional moment. "Mom, when will Dad come? He said he would definitely be here today!"

"Saki, you need to understand that your father is very busy completing missions," her mother replied softly, a trace of worry in her voice. "He's working hard so we can provide your brother with a wonderful childhood and keep our village safe."

"You don't have to defend that foolish son of mine!" the old woman interjected, a slight scowl marring her features. "Always late for important events! Let him return just once; I'll make sure he doesn't have it easy!"

Before they could delve further into their grievances, a voice interrupted them from the doorway. "Ahem! What are you guys talking about?" A tall man with slightly greenish hair, clad in a jounin vest, stepped into the room, his presence instantly commanding attention. His eyes sparkled with a mix of exhaustion and relief.

"Dad! Hmph! You're so late!" Saki exclaimed, her pout transforming into a bright grin the moment she saw him return.

"I thought I should buy some things for your little brother," he said with a goofy smile, ruffling her hair affectionately. "But shopping for children takes a lot more time than I expected."

"Huh? What did you buy? Hurry, show me!" Saki's excitement bubbled over, her eyes sparkling with curiosity as she jumped up and down.

"Well, I ended up buying nothing because there were too many options," the man replied with an apologetic smile while taking his newborn son into his arms.

"Let's set these matters aside for now," the old lady interjected, shifting her focus. "What do you want to name your child?" Her gaze turned to her son, seeking his input, the importance of this moment evident in the stillness that enveloped them.

"I think Hana should choose our child's name this time," he said, a gentle smile gracing his lips as he looked at his wife. The connection between them was palpable, deepening with the arrival of their new child.

"How about Takumi... Kazeharu Takumi? I think it's a lovely name. Don't you agree, Toru?" Hana suggested, her eyes shining with hope and warmth as she glanced at her husband. The name rolled off her tongue like a blessing.

"It's a beautiful name," Toru whispered, pride swelling in his chest as he looked down at his newborn son.

In this world, where chakra flowed through the veins of its inhabitants, resilience was a given. Even after the strenuous ordeal of childbirth, Hana remained engaged with her family, her spirit unbroken. The love and laughter shared in that small room wove a protective cocoon around them, shielding them from the storm raging outside.

As the rain pattered against the windows, the family gathered close, sharing stories and dreams for the future. The air was filled with a mix of joy and concern—a tender reminder that, even amidst trials, the bonds of family would always prevail. They talked about how they would guide Takumi, hoping to instill in him the values passed down through generations.

---

Huh? Why is it so cramped? Where am I? It's so sticky everywhere. What's happening? Shit! Where's this pressure coming from? I can't move at all.

Amidst my disoriented thoughts, a muffled voice broke through the confusion. "Yes! Push! The child is almost out!"

Warmth enveloped me, but it felt alien, suffocating even. I strained to understand my surroundings, but all I could grasp was an overwhelming pressure, as if the world was urging me to break free from an unseen barrier.

Panic swelled inside me. Was this some sort of nightmare? The urgency in the voice echoed in my mind, prompting a flicker of instinct deep within. Perhaps responding to this call would lead me to clarity, a way out of this confinement.

With each forceful push from the outside, I felt myself inching closer to an unknown threshold. Confusion still clouded my mind, but there was no turning back. Whatever this experience was, I was about to discover what lay beyond the darkness.

"Waaaah... waaaah... waaaah!" The cry escaped my lips, and I realized it was my own voice, a sound that felt both foreign and familiar.

"I don't know why, but I can't control my body. Everything is so blurry. Why can't I stop crying?"

"Who are they? How are they so much bigger than me? Wait! My hands?! Why are they so small? Am I stuck in some kind of experiment? But why? There should be nothing special about me."

A strange man with slightly green hair entered the room, drawing my attention. How peculiar... A man with green hair is normally rare. His hair looks genuine, too, like something out of a storybook.

Hmm... They seem to be talking about something important. But I don't understand anything. The language feels familiar. Isn't it Japanese...? It seems so.

"Wait! Is that guy wearing a jounin vest from the anime Naruto?!"

Amidst all the chaos, things began to become clearer. Yes, I was a foreign entity, trapped within this newborn body. Previously, I had been a painter and poet, my life filled with colors and verses. But now, I found myself in a situation incomprehensible to any human.

Each thought surged like a wave, crashing against my consciousness. Fear mixed with confusion, leaving me uncertain of what awaited me beyond this cocoon. I didn't know how I got here, but I certainly knew that this was my new reality. If I wanted to keep my sanity, I had to accept things as they were.
