Chapter 71 Trying to get her

Lilah barged into the car with rage burning through her vain. Her furious face could be seen , and noticed.

Mr Robin seen her through the rare view mirror.

"How much did he demanded?" He asked quietly seeing the girl is upset that means the bastard must have done something stupid.

"Well, the fool demands for 300 thousand dollars to shut his shit mouth up!" She gritted,

Mr Robin sighed. He knows this was going to happen, he wasn't surprised either that John would demand that huge amount of money just to keep her secret. Since the man needs the money to clear up this mess, it has to be done!

"You know, you can get him that money" he said, clenched his hands on the wheel to suppress his nervousness of how the girl is going to react.

"What did you mean Mr Robin. I just told you that John ask for 300 thousand dollars. And all you can say is..... Wait a minute! Are you suggesting I asked for help from that old cheap man?! "

Mr Robin blinks, that exactly what he meant. If Lilah could reconcile with her father, the money wouldn't be an issues. Beside, taking 300 thousand dollars from Mr Williams, wouldn't even affect his life.

The man is more in dollars, and Lilah knows that but never in her life would she allowed herself to go back to that forbidden fruit who call himself her father. He had betrayed her and her mother, with that painful memory she would never forgiven him for what he had done to her...

"Yes-yes" Mr Robin stammer, he knows it would be impossible to get the father and daughter back together but he wants to try his best. Who's knows, maybe one day Lilah would seen the bright light and will never accused her father again.

The man was in the middle to make a choice, and the decision he had was for the betterment of the family. He never wants to lost either both side. He had never thought that day would break his family apart. His daughter would run away from home and never dream to come back again.

"I know you're upset with your father but you still have to give it a try. You're the daughter of Mr Williams. He is sorry Lilah, he wants you back in his life" Mr Robin plead, trying to sound pity as possible it could be. The grudge between them have to stop!

Lilah laughed mockingly, " he wants me back? Are you sure of what you're saying? Because the man I once knew choose his bastard son over me! And you're saying he wants me back!"

Mr Robin bit his lips with this reaction she's coming up with, he knew , he had cross the line.

" Milady, that wouldn't what I'm trying to say. He is sorry and I need you back. I promise to never tell him anything about you but Mr Williams is hopeless, he talks about you every day" Mr Robin tried to explain Mr Williams feelings to her. Lilah wasn't in the mood to know anything consigning her father. That's man never deserve her. She was at the edge of crying but never wants her guts down.

She had promise herself she would never cry for that man. Never in her life will she appears to be weak in his sight. She would fight up to build herself no matter what it takes..

" You know what? Hell with him!" She gets down from the car, snapped the door shut..

'Bang!'

"Miss Lilah, where are you going?!" Mr Robin scream, gets down from the car too. Trying to chase the lady that was running towards a cab car.

"Away from him!" She yells back.

Before Mr Robin could get to her, she jumped into the cab at the road side and drove off.

"Shit!" He gritted, bought his phone, click on the call icon. " Hello Mr Williams, we have a problem"

Steve was waiting downstairs for her almost  an hour now. What would have kept her in her room this long?

"Master Steve, you haven't gone already?" Old April asked, who walks into the living room, and was surprised to see Steve still at home.

"Old April, I have told you. I don't want you to call me master, what if Rosary or Jack heard you?" He lower his voice.

The old man bend his head low, " I'm sorry Steve. Sometimes I just can't help it. You're my master. But I would try to never call you that again" Old April assured him.

" Okay, thanks. You can get back to work. I'm waiting for Rosary to come down. She had spend hours in her room." He touched his head frustrated

" Women, always late" he mumbled, Old April laughed,. Since now, it was hard to seen Steve cares for another apart from Lilah. With this care he's showing her, Old April just wish we should have something for each other.

In fact the two looks great together.. he patted on his shoulder. " Don't worry she would soon be down. Just wait for a little longer. You remember the patient dog eat the fattest bone" the old man said and walks away.

Steve who stand amazed looks at him in confusion as he(Old April) departed himself from the living room.

" Old people are always creepy!"

Just then, his cell phone rings. Deep it out of his pocket and saw the caller was no one but Adam.

"Hello Adam, what did you want?"

"Oh stop begin harsh towards me. Is that the way to address a friend?" The voice from the line said. Steve rolls his eyes. Sure this man should have be a woman instead of a man. But is not bad, he even behave like one.

"What now?"

"When is the angel coming to the stadium?"

"She would soon be there probably?" His eyes went up the stairs but no sight of the girl yet.

"You have to bring her here immediately. Some big clients from US had come to pick up some new models for their brands. And guess what? Your pretty friend is on the list!" Adam scream excitedly.

Rosary name is on the list? Isn't that impossible! The girl just apply for the modeling industry just yesterday! And she isn't that yet a model, how was that possible!

With more curiosity, Steve asked. " Wait, Adam. Don't you think ther might be misunderstanding in here? We know Rosary isn't a model yet. So what the offer?"

" Oh my lord, you're so boring. You should be happy. This clients are big and fucking rich. We just give them the list of our best models but the CEO request for the list of upcoming model too. Then, he picked Rosary too!"

Steve was stunned, just like that and Rosary would be going into the top model? No this is just one of Adam prank.

" I would be expecting you. Make sure the girl isn't late because our clients are waiting. I only gives you 30 minutes to be here!"

Before Steve could asked who is this client, Adam have end the call.

" Shit! that bastard hung up the call on me!" He mumbled.

"Hi Steve, how did I look?" A sweet voice call from the stairs.

Steve eyes went up the stairs. Widened in surprise as he behold the beauty of goddess standing at the start of the stairs.

"Damn beautiful"
