CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Adeline tossed and turned on her bed, her brows cringed together, it looked like she was trying to focus really hard on something but then her eyes shot open. 

Adeline looked around her bedroom, it was still dark outside, she glanced at her alarm clock and saw that the time was just 4am. Adeline noticed that she was naked on the bed but before she could react, the memories came rushing in and everything was clear to her, she remembered everything. Her eyes welled with tears and in no time, they were rolling down her cheeks again. 

Adeline could feel pain all over her lower abdomen, but the pain she felt in her chest was worse. She cried silently without a word, she had lost her voice, she couldn't speak, her throat hurt and Adeline didn't care about that. 

She stayed up on her bed and looked down on the sheets, blood, her blood. The thought only caused more tears in her eyes, with her knees folded, Adeline placed her head down and continued crying.
