MATCHED

Lily's POV

“Doc, how’s our daughter?” Vincent worriedly asked the doctor.

“Sir, your daughter is out of danger. But we need a blood transfusion as soon as possible,” the doctor said. “The broken glass was plunged deep into her carotid, causing too much blood loss. Who’s a match between the two of you?”

Vincent and I looked at each other. We know Angela's blood type and both of us was not a match.

“Neither of us is a match,” I answered.

“I'm sorry to inform you that we haven't got her blood type in our blood bank,” the doctor said.

I couldn't stop my tears from falling. What were we going to do?

Adrian's POV

I stopped the car in front of the hospital and just threw the car key to the security. This was the first time the people here were seeing me in person. Even though most of the employees knew me as the founder of Villa Green Island and CEO of Romano, it was very rare to see me in public like this.
