Lily’s POV
Vincent was dumbfounded, his eyebrows narrowed. “What do you mean?”
“He already has a woman in his life,” I said and frowned. “What should I do?” I looked at Vincent and waited for his reply.
“It’s okay, don’t worry. If you’re meant for each other, fate will bind you together,” he said. “But honey, how about your promise to your childhood sweetheart?”
I stiffened. “Yes, I forgot about Alex.” I was suddenly confused.
“Yes, bestie, where is Alex now?” Vincent asked.
“I don’t know,” I said.
“Do you think he’s alive?”
“I don’t know, too,” I sighed.
“How about you try to move on and think about Adrian?” Vincent laughed.
The question is, who is his woman? “There is someone on my mind. The last time she came to the office, she kissed Adrian’s cheeks confidently. She didn’t even care that Mary Ann and I were around. It looked like it was so normal for her to kiss Adrian,” I said.
