Lily's POV
“No, sweetheart, you’re not dreaming. Everything is real,” Adrian said. “So come on, let’s get up and go down to have our breakfast. Or if you want, let’s ask them to bring the food upstairs, like last night.”
“Yes, please, I can’t show myself like this. My eyes are swollen,” I said.
“Yes, you are right. They might think that I let you cry the whole night rather than to think that I gave so much pleasure.” He winked.
“Crazy,” I said. I felt my face redden from embarrassment.
Vincent was right. Nothing was wrong with trying. You will never know the answer if you do not try. And the best part of it, the man I fell in love with is the same man I loved fifteen years ago. I smiled with full excitement.
Adrian was quietly staring at me. “Sweetheart, you want to share something with me?”
“I just can’t believe that the man I’m in love with is the same man I loved fifteen years ago, and where is the other part of this bracelet? The other half of this heart?” I asked.
