ARRESTED.

 ""Sarah, my dad treated you well. Even when you couldn't go to school, my dad helped you go to university, and after you graduated, my dad allowed you to work for the company. Not only were you not grateful, you even stabbed me in my back. Aren't you afraid of karma? Olivia clenched her fist in anger. She only felt anger upon seeing all this.

 "Heh, this is the attitude of a spoiled rich princess, always thinking that money can solve everything."

 "You bitch!" Olivia lunched at Sarah and slapped her hard across her face. If it had been someone else in Felix's bed she wouldn't have even bothered, but it was someone whom she knew. So she couldn't control her anger.

 Sarah, who was caught off guard and got slapped by Olivia, held her face and cried towards Felix with red eyes, "Babe, she hit me."

 Felix was annoyed, but didn't say anything at all. He felt a pang of guilt in his heart.

 Olivia stepped closer to Felix and lifted the blanket off him. She gave him a sad laugh ""Felix, I really didn't expect you to be this kind of person! You're a scumbag, a narcissistic!"" She said every word slowly, disdain evident in each word. 

 Saying that, a "pa" sound landed on his face. It was undoubtedly loud enough to leave a print as she had slapped him with all the anger and frustration she felt today.

 Felix jumped down from the bed and walked slowly toward Olivia. He stared at her coldly and said, ""Olivia, you've caused enough trouble, it's time for you to leave and never come back here again.

 ""Felix, I'll definitely remember this day. I will make you pay for your actions and words today!"" Olivia said with a cold gaze. But her heart held disappointment and heartache.

 "Alright, I'll be waiting." Felix said with an evil smirk plastered on his face. In his mind, he thought, stop dreaming liv. From today and henceforth, the game will start anew. Do you think your family still have any power to support them?

 ""I wish you two a terrible end. After all, a dog will always be a dog and, even if it wishes to be more, it will definitely face reality one day", Olivia remarked coldly, and walked out of the apartment in anger.

 As night fell over the city, the streetlights lit up, brightening up the dark street. Olivia wandered aimlessly on the streets, she was heartbroken. Tears streamed down her face and her eyes were red and swollen. 

 Why, why were these things happening to her? What did she ever do wrong!?

 Felix had been seeing Sarah when they were still in a relationship, but that's not what hurt. It was the fact that he had intended to sell her off to Mr Brown. Why, what crime did she commit for him to want to sell her off?

 Olivia wiped her tears harshly and hailed a taxi. She couldn't continue to worry about sipping milk, everything would be fine. She didn't need someone who wasn't worthy of her. She consoled herself.

 Saratoga spring estates, New York City.

 Olivia hurried home. The moment she opened the door, she saw two police officers holding her father down. Her heart dropped! ""What's going on? Where are you taking my father? Let him go now!"" Oliva panicked. 

 At the side, Elizabeth tried to pull the two police officers aside, not letting them take her husband away, but was pushed away to one side. Olivia immediately rushed to her side and held her while a fresh set of tears rushed out from her eyes. No matter how stupid she was, she could already tell that something terrible had happened because of the police officer being in her house.

 ""Liv, daddy has failed you. I didn't investigate this person thoroughly before taking him under my wing. I have taken a pest by my side and nurture it until it bit back on my hand. In the future you have to be careful of Felix Scott..."" Before Ethan McQueen could finish his words, he was forcefully dragged away by the police officers into the elevator.

 Olivia left her mother's side hurriedly and chased after him, but the elevator door had already been shut. She took the stairs, running to catch up to them, but couldn't catch up either. Her mind was a mess and tears were streaming down her face as she ran after them. But couldn't catch up with the police car either. 

 Olivia sat on the ground in a sorry state, crying like an abandoned child, without caring about the opinion of the people around her. 

 Why was her dad taken away by the police? Olivia suddenly remembered that her mother was still at home, so she quickly stood up and ran back home.

 In the large living room, Elizabeth seemed to have lost her mind and soul as she sat still like a wooden statue. She didn't even move after her husband was dragged away by the police.

 ""Mom, what happened? What's going on? Why is dad suddenly arrested?"" Olivia squatted down and shook her mother's body with an uneasy expression.

 ""There's a fraud at the company. Accountant Sarah made up the account, and ten million dollars were missing. The company was in chaos after losing such a large amount of money and after carrying out a thorough investigation, it was found that it was signed out by your dad..."" Elizabeth clenched her fist and did not finish her sentence as she started crying, and her whole body was trembling.

 Earlier, Olivia was thinking of how she could tell her parents that she had seen Felix and Sarah in bed. But she didn't expect that those two despicable humans had already done something terrible to her father's company and framed him. It seems like they had planned it a long time ago. 

 " How cruel of Felix!"" Olivia was so angry that she clenched her fists. Suddenly, tears started to fall from her eyes and she cried out in grievance.

 Elizabeth was scared out of her wits. She looked at Olivia with a confused expression. She took Olivia's face in her hands and gently wiped her face with her hand and asked softly, "Darling, what's wrong?"

 After crying for a while, Olivia finally opened her mouth and said, "I just found out that Felix and Sarah were seeing each other, he was cheating on me." 

 Elizabeth was speechless. There was a complicated emotion in her eyes. She absolutely couldn't believe that her daughter had gone through such an ordeal. What could be more painful than betrayal? She didn't know how to comfort her daughter. She could only hug her daughter and pat her on her back. "Darling, stop crying over that bastard, he's not worthy of your tears." 

 Olivia nodded as she wiped her tears without any resolve. Her mother was right. She couldn't continue crying. Olivia was very rational, she didn't focus on Felix's betrayal. Since it had already happened, it was obvious that they had already planned it all out. The problem was now how to make up the ten million dollars. 

 " Mum, how much money do you have?"" Olivia suddenly asked her mother calmly. 

 "Over three million." Elizabeth raised her head. She didn't expect her daughter to be able to see a bigger picture at that moment. A sense of gratification flowed from her eyes. 

 "Did you inform the lawyers?" Olivia asked with a frown on her face. 

 "Yes, they are investigating." Elizabeth was anxious. She hoped the truth of the matter would be out soon. Otherwise, she knew her husband would really be in trouble. The company had lost a lot of money for no reason. Plus, the operation of the company has not gone smoothly in recent years. To the McQueen, this news was simply adding fuel to the fire!

 Olivia suddenly felt helpless. She bit her lips and said with moist eyes, ""let's sell the house, we'll sell my house as well. We will definitely be able to gather ten million.""

 Elizabeth's eyes showed some hesitation. Selling the house would make them lose everything. They had lived here for more than twelve years and already had a deep attachment to the house and her daughter's house was a gift from her husband when she had just returned to the country.

 In this world, earning money is already difficult. Perhaps this was the only way. 

 Olivia got ready for bed and came out of the bathroom to find her mother in her room. Without saying a word, she got in bed with her mother and held her hand gently. Saying a silent prayer, she succumbed to sleep.

 The next morning, just as dawn broke and Elizabeth was preparing breakfast in the kitchen, Olivia was helping her by the side when they heard knocking on the door.

 Felix's tall figure walked into the McQueen family home in a suit and leather shoes, looking radiant.

 "You two really have a deep love between mother and daughter!" Felix said with a sarcasm laced in his voice. His energetic appearance made him look like a noble person.

 Olivia was shocked. How dare this scumbag walk into her house like he owed the place.

 ""Felix, you bastard, how dare you have the audacity to come here? This is my house, get the hell out of here, or I'll call the police."" Olivia said as she tried her best to remain calm.

 When Elizabeth saw Felix she felt conflicted and furious at the same time. This was the same child that her husband had brought up and her daughter was hoping to start a future with. But she would always pick her family up rather than outside. 

 "Aunty, please don't be angry. I only came here to get my things back."" Felix gave a cruel smile. Then, he casually threw away his jacket and sat on the sofa with his legs crossed.

 Olivia pulled her mother aside, who was apparently going to hit Felix. She glared at Felix with hatred and asked, "what are you doing in my house?"

 "What do you think?" Felix shrugged carelessly with a raised eyebrow.
