Please Come Back!

MeiYin entered her kitchen, she wanted to make the meal for her sister herself, she wouldn't let their mother make the meal, especially when Huiyin was at loggerhead with her.

But she could see someone standing near her stove. The person seems to be preparing the meal in a hurry.

And MeiYin walked there, it was her mother.

"Mother, what_are you doing?" She asked in panic, she should have come to the kitchen a long time before, so her mother wouldn't be able to prepare the meal.

Huiyin would never taste the food if she found out that her mother made it.

"As you can see MeiYin dear" Her mother began and paused, contemplating whether to continue her talk. "I was making this food for Huiyin"

"What?" MeiYin had never shouted at her mother before, but she would do anything for her younger sister. "Mother, you know that Huiyin would not eat the food right? so let me make it for her" She wanted to speak politely to her mother.

"Alright dear, but please you should help me speak to her I did nothing wrong" Their mother had began to cry.

MeiYin embraced her mother and she began to cry as well.

"I will see what I can do mother"

Her mother left the kitchen, while MeiYin stood behind the stove to cook.

* * * *

Huiyin had just stepped out of the bathroom with a towel around her body, her eyes were red and swollen.

She walked towards her bag, to bring out her comb and dress.

She brought out a navy blue colored dress out of her bag, it's just four months since her husband death, so according to her, she shall continue to dress in dark colored clothes, she will perform all her husband rituals even when she was suppose to stop.

She loved her husband dearly and never thought that there will be a day that he will leave her and this world forever.

There was no need to apply powder, or make up, she want to look as bereaved as she could, besides she is a widow.

After putting on her dress, she decided to take a nap since MeiYin hadn't arrived with the food. Instead she was imagining that her dead husband was standing at her front.

"You are here JunFeng" She smiled.

He was only standing behind the wall and was smiling at her.

"Aren't you gonna give me a hug? or have I made you late for work this time around?" She smiled and pouted her lips just like she use to.

He was not responding, he was only staring at her with his lip curved in a smile.

"Are you mad at me?" She asked.

She decided to go and meet him herself, so she got up from bed and ran towards the place where he stood, she was about to touch him, but he was gone.

Huiyin opened her eyes and saw that her husband wasn't there with her, she broke into another tears.

"Please JunFeng I beg you to come back, please come and take me" She cried.

MeiYin came in the room with the tray of food in her hand. She was tired of consoling her sister who kept crying as if her tears would bring back her dead husband.

"Huiyin, you are crying again?" She asked while keeping the food on the table.

"If you were in my shoes, wouldn't you cry like this? Do you know how it feels to lose a husband?" Huiyin asked, annoyed at her sister for asking that question.

"I am sorry dear" MeiYin apologized, she looked at Huiyin dress and saw that she was still wearing navy blue colored shirt. "But Huiyin is past hundred days now, you can stop putting on dark colored clothes, you wore a light blue skirt yesterday right?" She asked her.

"And I will always continue to wear dark colored clothes till I join JunFeng in heaven" She replied.

"What are you saying?" Her sister asked. "You are way too young to be talking this way, JunFeng and you were not meant to be together, otherwise he wouldn't have passed away before you, try to understand" Her sister explained.

It's been five months since her husband death and she hadn't gotten over it.

A lot of the family members where worried about her with the way she had planned to commit suicide. For the first and second month since her husband death, Huiyin was admitted at the hospital and was in coma for a whole one month, she had just managed to survive that tension.

As a matter of fact, she need to come back to china to meet her sister, in other to take good care of her.

Huiyin never listen to anyone advice, and she never accepted any condolence from anyone.

"Now tell me Huiyin, you've been weeping like this for the past five months, if tears can bring him back, mine alone could have helped, so no matter how you cry and shout, just know that no amount of your tears could bring him back" MeiYin told her in a calm tone.

"So now, you just need to eat, and take your drugs, you also need a lot if rest. Come on now I will feed you" MeiYin smiled at her.

She took a handkerchief from the top of the table and cleaned her tears.

"You should stop crying, you wouldn't end your life here, God has planned a very nice fate for you. So after your recovery you would start your life afresh and forget about your dead husband for a while" MeiYin counselled her, but the moment she spoke about forgetting her dead husband for a while, Huiyin looked up at her in shock.

"You want me to forget about JunFeng?" She asked unbelievably.

"No, I didn't say that, you can still keep all his memories with you, but don't let it stop you from been who you are, don't let his death weaken all your cells and powers" She explained.

Huiyin nodded, her sister feed her the rest of the food, and also gave her the drugs to take.

"Now rest, I will come and check you later" She told her while walking out.

After MeiYin left, she stayed on top of the bed, and burst into another tears looking at her husband picture.

"Please come back for my sake" She sobbed. "Please come and take me along with you"

She kept on looking at the picture and sniffing.

"I will never forget you, in fact I want to come to you!"

Still holding the photo, she eventually cried herself to sleep.
