A Happy Warmth

The rest of training went pretty well, although Dawn's occasional comments about Jay did not help Nova's concentration. From Jay's constant smirk, he knew exactly what was distracting her, especially when he took his shirt off when they started lifting weights. Calli seemed to be struggling just as much and they got the boys back by drenching them with a water hose they found. Needless to say, another chase began but the girls escaped into the building to change before the guys could catch them.

"Girl, that was some great teamwork though!" Sophia exclaimed as she finished pulling on her day clothes.

"You got that right, I mean did you hear how frustrated the guys were getting when we kept flipping over their heads," Calli said and they all burst out laughing. Nova had to put her hand on her locker just to keep her balance as she put her shoe on.
