Qin Surges Forward!

(The 3rd Day)

The Qin forces on the right spent the day having a stair off with the Zhao forces, in the Center, once again Mou Bu spent the day slaughtering the Zhao forces! before the day ended, Qin now fielded the larger army!

Thanks to the efforts of Mou Bu and his men, the Qin forces now outnumbered Zhao! The center under Mou Bu had lost few men and had been inflicting heavy losses on the Zhao forces. Thanks to this, Ou Ki decided to give command of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th armies over to Mou Bu!

Tomorrow Mou Bu would take charge of all the forces and lead an assault upon the Zhao headquarters!

(4th Day)

Zhao planned on attacking all fronts against the Qin forces, they would then shift men from the left and right in secret and hit Mou Bu forces from the sides and rear, they would ambush Mou Bu and kill him! while the rest of the army stalled the enemy.

All the Zhao forces were about to act as ordered when suddenly the Qin forces on all fronts charged! the Qin forces were committing to a general attack with all their forces!

Qin now with the larger force! attacked the Zhao forces on all fronts! the Zhao forces were left stunned and were slow to respond! before they could coordinate with each other and receive updated orders! their forces were attacked by the charging Qin forces.

Zhao who should have been the invaders! now found themselves being the ones forced on the defensive! their campaign into Qin had cost them three Generals so far! ( Man Goku, Shou Mou, and Fuuki)

The Qin forces in the Center had already started pushing the Zhao forces back! the Qing forces on the right were also making progress thanks to the death of Shou Mou! most surprising of all was that even the left flank was pushing the Zhao forces back!

The Zhao forces morale was at an all-time low! thanks to the many deaths of their Generals! and the losses they have suffered! it was the opposite for the Qin forces, their morale had never been higher! and they charged like wild demons! into the Zhao forces!

If the Qin lost here, the Zhao forces would march into the heart of Qin and butcher their loved ones! it was rumored that the Zhao forces had taken the dead bodies of the children at Baou and had nailed them to the castle walls! imagining what would happen to their loved ones, caused the Qin militia to resolve themselves to face death here today!

Zhao being pushed back on all fronts decided that they had no choice but to move their headquarters! they ordered all their troops to fall back!

The Zhao forces spread out all over the battlefield started to retreat to the mountains located farther away from the battlefield!

Mou Bu having the enemy on the run decided to keep pursuing them.

Unknown to everyone, Zhao strategist Ri Boku and his 30,000 man army had managed to sneak into the area undetected.

(5th day)

Meng knowing that the freak called Hou Ken was prowling about last night, decided to position his camp closer to the Kan plains, on the edge of the mountain range.

As he stretched and walked amongst his men, he could already hear rumors about Hou Ken appearing and assaulting the camp of the Hi Shin Unit! alone he marched into the camp and slaughtered a bunch of soldiers! he had almost managed to claim Shin's head when reinforcements arrived and managed to force Hou Ken to flee.

Since Man Goku is dead, his soldiers were not in the area to assist Hou Ken in ambushing the Qin forces, Man Goku wasn't around to pursue the fleeing Hi Shin Unit and as a result both the Bi Brothers survive.

Meng looks out across the mountains and spots the flags of Ou Ki command center, observing the flags, he sees that Mou Bu has already started the day's battle, and Ou Ki is informing the isolated armies to follow after Mou Bu as he chases the Zhao commander.

(25,000 troops under Mou Bu are chasing after Hou Ken army of 20,000)

Meng and the isolated fragments of the 5th and 3rd army attempt to follow after Mou Bu, but keep getting slowed by small ambushes as they advance through the mountains.

His cavalry is suited for fighting in the plains, fighting in the mountains his men are ambushed many times and their numbers fall to less than 200. Unknown to him, while his men are getting stalled, Hou Ken and Ou Ki are having their duel.

Meng hopes to warn Ou Ki about Ri Boku's ambush! he can claim his scouts stumbled upon an enemy army, he spends the day urging the men forward, but sadly they keep getting delayed and spend the whole day slowly attempting to follow after Mou Bu.

With the day coming to an end, Meng can only stare out into the dark mountains, hoping that enough men have survived the previous battles to allow Ou Ki to escape the ambush. Perhaps his influence had changed enough and caused Ou Ki to end up with a different fate.

(6th day)

Meng can only grieve alongside the rest of the troops as they slowly march away from the mountains, in the morning, the news of Ou Ki's death had reached all the troops, after watching the Zhao forces leave the area, the Qin forces had no choice but to return home.

In the third year of Sei's reign, Ou Ki, the Monstrous Bird of Qin, and one of the Six Great Generals of Qin! dies in battle!

Leading a large force of mostly militia, the Ou Ki army would repel the Zhao invaders, inflict heavy casualties on the enemy, and slay several enemy generals. Sadly, Ou Ki would have to pay with his life while accomplishing this, the news of his death would quickly spread to the other nations!

All the other nations now knew that Qin was vulnerable! and could be defeated!
