---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After Veldora awoke Rimuru, Milim and him spent the next several hours touring the city. Naturally i was dragged along as my cute little wife wanted to show off my accomplishments to her uncle. As soon as she began to exclaim about how I and Rimuru had created it all I smiled. Usually she was energetic and bored, but it seemed that with a family member nearby she became even more bouncy. Her aura was all over the place and it was simple to see that she was attempting to gain a semblance of normalcy from her chaotic life as daughter to Veldenava.

Like this we toured the various bars, taverns, shops and restaurants that called the city home. People were laughing, cackling, enjoying themselves as the ushering of the sun's fall behind the horizon blared a new rise, the rise to the night-life of the city. For the first time I and Veldora experienced the bubbling and vibrant spectacles of the parades. Alcohol and Music flowed freely from every corner, men and women danced as minstrels egged them on with the strumming of their lutes and guitars.

Many women and men alike were outside certain areas of the city, promoting the services that would be offered inside. Young men to Old men happily accepted the offers, spending their pay checks on the midnight dalliances that would surely leave them satisfied after a hard day at work. The entire night wasn't a sex party however as numerous people kaleidoscopically pub-crawled or conversed with all sorts of people. Race didn't matter here, there were no conversations about it and many were just happy to be free from the dreary life-style of nature's relentless game of survival. Half way through the 'tour' I popped by my house as we were nearby, grabbing Shuna by the waist and dragging her out for a spot of fun. It had been so long since we had all been able to blow off steam effectively, tonight was going to be fun...

...

"Ughhhhh..."

Shuna groaned beside me as the rippling waves of sunlight cascaded down onto my face. groans soon turned to bilious upheavals as Shuna dropped to the floor and attempted to ungracefully crawl to the toilet. With painless ease I could see that her eyes were fuzzed over by the lingering shreds of whiskey in her system. Last night we had followed in the steps of any good adventuring party and went for a pub crawl. From one bar, to the next, we drank around five steins every venue. Thinking back on the events of the previous night, I was surprised that I was suffering none of the effects of alcohol poisoning.

Leveraging my weight I rotated my legs off of our bed, dodging Milim's as I slowly let my feet dangle down and bear my weight. With unease in the pit of my stomach I leisurely strived to stand up fully. My pacing was correct it seemed as my vision was becoming more and more crisp, the harmful chemicals slowly burning off as my constitution consumed it utterly, turning it into base molecules. Standing, I moved up behind Shuna and softly picked her up, princess carrying her to the bathroom before setting her down in front of it and picking up her hair. Practically as I got her in place the vomiting began, her entire body heaving and retching as copious indescribably horrendous concoctions slipped fluidly from her mouth into the bowl of the toilet. Gently tapping and rubbing her back I intoned soothing sounds to give her some support through the no doubt disgusting feeling.

The groans of Milim soon followed, but these were more restrained and sounded more akin to someone waking up after a long time of staying awake. Ignoring my other wife's awakening for now I continued to support Shuna as she continued to chuck her stomach up through her throat and into the bowl before her. Adding some healing magic as she started to sob calmed her vomits and began to ease her body. The unfortunate side affect was the urge for her to sleep, my hand having to lightly tap her back to keep her from falling asleep on the side of the bowl.

Haplessly the front door of the house started to rattle from knocking. It definitely was Hakuro, and he would not be too please with such an early summons, being a relatively old man. My knowledge was soon confirmed as the grouchy and grumpy old voice of Hakuro blistered through the house, echoing further through the entire neighbourhood without doubt. Finishing my soothing treatment of Shuna I took some paper and wiped her mouth and lips, freshening her mouth with a use of Prestidigitation, before plopping her onto bed. Completing my marital duties I was once again harassed by Hakuro, my martial master.

I took to a groan myself now, my form quivering before reforming before the front door, my hand grasping the handle and pulling back. Hakuro was soon revealed from this point as the sun lightly pilfered into the house alongside the form of Hakuro who stormed past me with chagrin on his face.

"It is too early for nonsense summons...! What did you want of me?"

Rubbing my cheeks with my hands for a second I followed after him, sitting down opposite him within the lounge room. The old man was especially cranky in the mornings and when I had set up the meeting yesterday I had thought I'd be in top condition to staunch his bleating complaints... How wrong I was...

"Look. I was just wandering if you wanted to be the headmaster of the University on the Island above."

"That's it!?"

"Of for fuck's sakes... It has a lot of responsibility, plus, you'd be teaching other people how to teach."

Chagrin and annoyance slowly slipped away as his eyes widened and a wicked grin slowly slithered onto his face. The change would have usually solicited a response from me, but I was still cleansing myself with largo. His mood shifted and he spryly stood up.

"I agree, I'll do it. Leave the recruitment to me, i will give you some really good teaching candidates!"

"W-wait, hold up, you are in?"

"Yeah, sure, what's the worst that could happen?"

Mildly shocked I also stood now, my brain slowly unclogging itself as I hastily started to collect the fragments of the conversation that I had born witness. The old man didn't let me finish however as he hurriedly retreated from the house and wickedly laughed as he did so. Starting to follow him I was soon interrupted by the sounds of Shuna starting to dry heave up stairs. Concern flooded into me and I stood there for a few seconds, glancing between both parts of my house. The heaving continued however and I was forced to telekinetically close the front door and rush upstairs. Yet again, I collected my wife and got her over to the toilet, Milim humming softly to herself as she was now having a shower.

All thoughts of Hakuro and his mischievous deeds exited my mind as I struggled to prevent any vomit getting onto me.

'Yeah, we aren't doing that type of pub-crawl until Shuna can handle herself...!'

Like you can talk, you are a Demonic Overlord and even you were affected by how much you drank.

'I'd say shut up, but you are right.'

Are you okay? You just admitted I was right...

'Perfectly fine... SHIT, some of it got onto my hair!'

...

I slowly tapped away at my desk in the Government Building, the paper work stacked three times as high today due to Rimuru's absence and the apparent lack of staff after last night shenanigans. I swallowed some saliva before getting more shadow clones to do the work, their 'minds' linking with my own and giving me a proficiency that could be called divine. Infelicitously my time wasn't my own however as soon the door to my office slammed open and Yuna came rushing in. Her voice reverberated across the room before I could even get a look at her.

"I got Great Sage!!!"

Peals of fire inundated the room as her excitement wafted out from her aura. Amongst that aura was also a touch of a concept that did indeed have a sense similar to Great Sage. Obviously her's wasn't the same as Rimuru's but it was certainly a power up for her. Considering I knew little of her Ultimate Skills I just assumed this was a big power gain.

"Nice... You put in a lot of effort, so much in fact, that you didn't answer me yesterday."

"You did? Eh, anyway! It is so cool, I have this voice in my head that I can ask questions to and its all robotic. I feel like a true Reincarnator now!"

"Maybe you were successful because you wanted to match with Rimuru so much?"

"Who cares! I got it to work!"

"Good for you."

"Yeah it is!"

The conversation bled off a little as my shadow clones pealed their gazes away from Yuna and continued to do paperwork, their memories and understanding being communicated to me instantly whilst i stared at Yuna who was standing there with her lips upraised defiantly, opposed to the atmosphere.

"Hey Yuna, would you consider setting up some Adventuring halls around town? I want people to work and Adventuring is a good way of producing things and paying people."

Her eyes gleamed as she stepped forwards with heavy footsteps. If one didn't know Yuna they would consider her actions aggressive. This would be disproved very easily however as she slammed her hands down on my new desk, the old one having been burnt and cremated.

"Fuck yes! I'll make the best Adventuring halls you've ever seen! Just watch me..."

That i did, I watched her run out of my office and then heard the minute cries of staff in the halls getting out of her way. My shadow clones all looked at me and shook their heads, smiles coming to each of our faces as we continued our work. Yuna was way too happy to do work sometimes. The job was hard and difficult although she probably already knew that and was just wanting to contribute to the city. I felt especially bad that I hadn't brought her along for the pub crawl, but it seemed now that she was meditating or something up until this exact moment...

'I just wish she liked paperwork as much as she did training or building organisations...'

Everyone has their own specialisations.

"Fucking... I know that... Can't I just complain for no reason?'

Sure, go ahead.

There was silence within my mind for a few minutes after that.

No complaints?

'Fuck you, I can't think of anything else.'

Hope you enjoyed this chapter. It took me a little while to get it done due to Real Life and also my lack of energy, but we got there! Yuna got a little more screen time due to the person behind her character nagging me (XD), but I also wanted to communicate her personality a little more and also those of Milim, Silviana and Shuna.
