Chapter 6 - Massacre

Tronk looked at the bodies around him and let out a low roar as he turned his gaze to Tomas; he didn't count the number of dead, but they must have been between 100 and 300.

- Who are you, kid? Why are you getting in my way?

Tronk truly didn't care about Tomas; for him, it didn't matter what his reasons were because he had already condemned him to death. What he wanted was to try to distract Tomas to take advantage of an opening. He had seen Tomas's fighting style and noticed how focused he was. Additionally, he observed that, after landing a blow, Tomas immediately attacked the next enemy, even if it wasn't a fatal wound. He didn't bother checking his opponent. This indicated that the blade should be coated with a very strong poison.

Tomas didn't respond to Tronk and instead remained ready.

- Aren't you going to answer me? Fine, then you can die.

Tronk quickly advanced and swung his sword at Tomas, who quickly defended himself and prepared to counterattack. However, before he could do so, he felt someone attacking from behind and dodged using Soru. Looking at his position, he saw the vice-captain wielding his twin swords, looking at him cruelly and attacking again.

Tomas evaded his attacks when he was surprised by a punch from Tronk that sent him flying for 10 meters before he could stabilize himself. "One has strength and agility, and the other has speed and reaction time; separated, it wouldn't be too complicated, but together they're dangerous. That's what I need." Tomas positioned himself again, looking at his opponents. Of course, he also kept an eye on the pirates around. Tomas wasn't stupid; he knew this wasn't a duel between knights; he was fighting pirates. No elegance and manners, just one side trying to kill the other more efficiently and less exhausting.

Just as he thought, a pirate suddenly shot at him. Tomas dodged, and suddenly, Lek approached him and attacked. He defended himself before using Soru to appear behind him and attack him with his sword, only to be stopped by Tronk.

The exchange between Tronk, Lek, and Tomas lasted a few more minutes. Tomas always maintained a slight advantage but never managed to fatally wound either of them. He had several opportunities to cause a minor injury with Murasame, but he knew it wouldn't be very efficient in the long run.

For example, he wasn't sure if he could cut people like Garp, who had a strong armament Haki, or someone like Big Mom. He didn't even know if it was possible to kill those who were truly powerful with it. Since in the anime, Akame cuts herself, and she remains alive, he doesn't remember exactly how; perhaps it's something exclusive to the

Murasame user, but he didn't want to risk it. Moreover, he was also aware of one thing: in this world, relying on external help could lead to his death. You can only count on your own power.

Dodging an attack from Lek, Tomas advanced only to be stopped by Tronk. "Their teamwork is impressive, but I think that's enough." Tomas decided to end the fight. Using Soru to retreat, he sheathed his sword and prepared himself. Seeing Tomas retreat, Tronk and Lek approached and took their positions.

Tomas advanced, using Soru to the maximum; his target was Lek, and as he approached, he drew his sword so that those outside barely saw his movements. Lek put his swords in front of him and prepared to defend himself, while Tronk advanced to counter.

However, at the last second, Tomas avoided Lek and delivered a quick slash to Tronk's chest. The cut was deep and confused everyone, but Lek was quick and delivered a cut to Tomas's chest only to leave a shallow wound. Before he could wonder what happened, he found himself spinning in the air and saw a headless furry body falling to the ground before losing consciousness.

Tronk fell to the ground due to Tomas's blow; his organs were torn, and thanks to Murasame's curse, he would die soon. The other pirates, seeing this, quickly went into a frenzy; some ran, others attacked, and others simply lowered their weapons in an attempt to surrender.

Tomas, however, began a new wave of carnage. This time, using the rabbit talisman, he claimed the lives of almost 1000 people before finally stopping. The pier and the dock were stained with entrails and blood; the seawater nearby turned red. Tomas stood still for a while before sighing and sheathing his sword.
