4 Chapter 4: Choices maketh God
Note : This is my first ever fanfiction. English is my third language so don't expect the most flawless writing from me. I had this idea for quite some time & wanted to give it life, so I started writing. Any helpful feedback is appreciated. Also again I own nothing except my own skin & do not want to offend any party. This is only for entertainment. Enjoy~

Task: Gather your army & wage a world war on the entire planet and bring it to its heels.

•[2] You are a god but not an idiot. Don't just blindly wage war on everyone. First plan & grow your strength. After all brains are better than brawns. Why use violence to conquer people when you can just rule the world the legal way ... technically.
Task: Use your smarts, knowledge & everything else in your arsenal to build and grow a business empire worth a minimum of a trillion dollars and achieve control over the global financial world and gain connections & massive influence, strong enough to manipulate or topple multiple governments.
(Note : The host is given a time limit of 15 years to achieve this effect)
Reward: 'Golden Rule of the Stars' perk card.
•[3] This is a second life for you where you are born as a freaking god. You don't need to worry about stuff like the end of the world when there are already people present to stop that. You just take it easy and live a slow life.
Task: Do nothing, just chill & enjoy life.
(Note : There is no time limit for this task)
Reward: Gorr the God butcher chases & kills you in the most horrifying way possible.|
[Additional Note 1: Due to being this the host's first mission as well as the high time duration & complexity of the quest, rewards of the selected choice will be given at the time of choice selection instead of mission completion. In case of failure of completing mission within time limit, all rewards will be taken back. No penalties will be given in such case.]
[Additional note 2: Punishments are not given by the system but are actually the most probable results of the host's choices & actions]
[Additional note 3: Due to the contradictory nature of the three choices in this case & also being the host's first choice, only one can be selected]
Wow now this is unexpected. I really didn't think that quests by the system will be choice based like this. Although I think this is better because I am not only getting options here but I am getting the reward in advance as well.
In fact even if I fail to complete the mission, it still won't affect me much since I am not only going to face no penalty but I am also able to use my reward for the entire mission duration and get to keep all the benefits that it will bring me during this period.
But the third mission is a little worrying since I can almost regard it as a warning from the system that Gorr will one day come after me to kill me, most probably since I am a God as well.
I hope its the Christian Bale version, that way I can atleast ask him do the famous sigma meme face for me before he tries to kill me.
Anyways I think I'll choose the 2nd option, after all even though the Leviathan axe sounds great and all for killing gods, I don't think conquering earth with it within the time limit by waging war will be that easy especially since there are too many stupidly powerful gods and entities already vying for the planet.
I hope this Golden rule reward is good enough, my future depends on it after all.

Well, that was really simple.
Now I give my attention back to Selene standing infront of me looking really awkward seeing me blank out... again.
"I will do what you ask of me as a gift to you for awakening me from my slumber but I would need your & your little group's help in this as well." I would have done it any way since I have already accepted the mission but I can use this chance now to make her more loyal to me.
"Swear your loyalty to me and I'll promise you justice for all mutants"
This made her really happy as she went on her knees without a second thought and so did all the other members as well.
"We swear our eternal loyalty & servitude to you my lord. As long as we have a single breath left, we will carry out your will" this was repeated by everyone in the room now making it truly sound like a secret cult society.
God that was so cringy, that I almost visibly cringed. But that was important to make all this seem genuine and divine to them. After all I don't want them betraying me very soon.
I hope that I get some kind of loyalty spell or bond to make sure I don't get stabbed in the back by my so called 'loyal' followers.
"Stand up and look proud because from now on you don't need to kneel in front of anyone else ever again. We will not only conquer this realm but many more like this, one step at a time, slowly but surely. For now we plan & steadily increase our strength" I declare to them.
"Selene, prepare a place for me to rest. We will continue to make our plan after I am more dressed for the occassion" I order her, realizing I am still standing on my egg shell while being scantily covered by a robe.
"Yes, my lord. We have already prepared a grand room for you to rest in this mansion"
Oh so this is a mansion, I guess that would make this old room its basement. Talk about stereotyping old mansions. Anyways this 'my lord' thing is quickly getting boring. I need to think of a better name for myself.
Oh, I know.
"Don't call me 'my lord' any more. Call me using my new name from now on, Rudeus Fireheart ... or you can call me 'Master'" I joked.
Personally I wanted to take up a cooler & grander name like Darkseid or Yuga Khan or Khorne but then I realised that whatever name I choose is going to stick with me for a long time and I really don't wanna cringe everytime I hear my own name.
So I went with my limited imagination & just chose a name that seemed like it was me.
It sounded more human than God but it still sounded like me.
Also there is the titles section for me to get cringy nicknames, so I probably wouldn't be disappointed there.
"As you order, master" Wait she took that seriously, I meant that as a joke.
Wow, I should cross another thing from my bucket list, making a hot girl call me master.
"Please follow me, I will take you to your room" with that she began to lead me out of the ritual chamber to the upper part of the castle where my room should be.
We stopped infront of the grandest door in the second floor of the mansion. It was quite different from the basement. The actual mansion looked extremely lavish and clean. It was redecorated in a modern style (if you call the style of 1996 modern).
She opened the door and led me inside the extremely big bedroom which was probably the master bedroom.
"Forgive me master if it is not luxurious enough, we didn't know how gods live and what they consider luxury. If you are disappointed, then you can punish me master" The way she said those words were extremely normal but for some reason her excessive beauty & seductive body gave me quite a sensual picture.
Should I just punish her, I mean the room was probably the most luxurious I had even seen but the thought of punishing her sensual body almost gave me a boner.
No you have to control Rudeus, its not time yet. You will have plenty of chances to completely enjoy that hot body in the future. But for now control yourself, Bodhisattva.
"It's okay, you did quite well for a human. I am satisfied for now" I said quickly making it seem I was neither pleased nor disappointed. This will make her do better next time to please me.
I'll make sure that by the time I am done completely instilling loyalty in her, she will beg me to take her body, mind & spirit on her own accord.
"Oh and I also want you to meet someone, Vanessa come here" On her signal a woman wearing a robe entered the room quickly while bowing her head, only she didn't look like a normal human. She had a smooth blue face hidden inside the hood and I could see streaks of white hair peeking out from it as well.
I was curious to see how she really looked since she was definitely not an ordinary human and most probably a mutant.
"This is Vanessa Carlysle, master"
