Chapter 22: A New god's Grind

'I love my new life' I thought to myself as I stretched my body & got ready for some training.

It has been a few days since the fight with Apocalypse. I have now kept my new personal spaceship, Prosh hidden on Mars.

Life was good right now.

I continued to regularly engage in my lustful activities with both Vanessa & Selene while making Elizabeth watch every time.

I even banned her from touching herself while watching us. It has almost become torture for her as her lust continues to rise & muddle her thoughts.

It was fun making her suffer from the intense lust. She would probably break soon but I won't even touch her till she begs me to do it.

Anyways, I was now back in my favourite training place, yep, you guessed it. I was back on Mars.

Right now I wanted to see how much I have improved from my last fight. I wanted to test out the capabilities of my new armor.

I have been testing Zoya for the last few days, making sure there were no difficulties with her. She was quite smart as she should be as a god level super-computer.

She got smarter & smarter with time. I even allowed her to access the internet. Truthfully I was quite afraid that she would have half a mind to destroy entire humanity after spending some time on the internet.

But turns out she didn't go crazy. She treated whatever information she found on the internet as just that, information. She didn't let it cloud her personality or judgement.

She was quite human-like in this. She knew the difference between good & evil but didn't let that knowledge interfere in her actual function. Her core programming & primary function seemed to be assisting me & following my commands.

I asked her about her past knowledge or memories before I summoned her into this world but she said that she had no past memories except the primary function she was supposed to follow, serving me.

This actually gave me quite a reassurance that she would never betray me as she seemed to be completely devoted to me from her very core. Her entire purpose of existence was me.

I also asked her about her energy source but sadly she didn't have any answers about it. She herself didn't know where she got her energy from.

I had a theory that she at the moment either derived her energy from the system or from my own divinity/divine energy. But presently, I had no way to know for sure.

But she did assure me that she would be able to link herself to other sources of energy if she ever found one strong enough for herself. She had actually already started researching some of these possible sources of energies.

According to her, she had already detected quite a lot of such energies in the universe with enough potential to not only serve as her main source but also potentially give her an upgrade.

But that would probably take some time since she needed to find a way to effectively connect with them without suffering any negative repurcussions.

Right now though, I concentrated on his own grind.

I began to try to use his new celestial armor to try to feel the cosmic energies near me. I could feel these energies all around me. I tried to link myself with them.

At first it was a little hard like riding a bicycle for the first time but as I concentrated more & more, I felt them answering my call.

The cosmic energies began to be quickly absorbed by my armor & get connected with my divine energy which in return created some sort of extra layer of protection all around my body, even my unarmored head.

As I felt this new layer of protection enveloping me, I knew that this new protection was probably strong enough to handle a few full powered punches from even an enraged Hulk without breaking, which was actually saying something.

This was quite satisfactory but now it was time for him to see the other functions as well. I tried to manipulate the cosmic energy using the armor to concentrate in my palms.

I aimed the concentrated ball of golden energy at a nearby red hill & released it. The high powered projectile acted much like the energy sphere projection of the eternal, Kingo from the mcu as I gazed at a newly made big hole in the middle of the hill.

The inner geek in me reacted at this scene & I instantly named my attack the Cosmic bullet in my mind.

I even named this protective layer ability as the Cosmic aura.

I also tried out some other abilities too like trying to form energy weapons from the cosmic energies just to satisfy my inner weeb.

But turns out I still didn't have the precise control required for me to do those things.

"But one day, one day definitely" I muttered to myself as I swore that I would continue to grind & grind until I master this power. I would do my best to convert this armor into a lite version of the green lantern ring.

But what I could do at the moment was concentrate this aura at certain parts of my body to further strengthen them & increase my already huge attack power.

Although I really doubt that I am gonna need this soon. Perhaps I could use it when I fight the hulk to end the battle quicker.

Just imagine, me knocking out the HULK in a single punch. General Ross would probably cream his pants at that.

Maybe I should take the name One Punch Man as my super moniker.

Naaah... I already ruined my normal name by going with my guts, I am not gonna ruin my super name too. I would probably take some time & discuss it with my followers to come to a definite conclusion.

But right now, I am more or less a potential nenmaster with my new abilities.

By the way could I learn chi? I mean do gods even have chi in them? I'll have to find that out soon, because if I do, then no way that I am not learning such a cool power.

But it is really sad that I can't exactly use sorcery.

Yeah, turns out I as a full blooded god couldn't use sorcery. Extradimensional entities don't really wanna lend out their power to gods for free. They normally don't care much if mortals use them but other gods are a big no no.

I mean, it does make sense since most Gods use their own divine energy or the energy from their own pantheon or home dimension to power up their magic.

But I at this moment am a homeless god. I don't have anything other than my own divine energy. I probably would be able to use that for magic but currently I don't know anyone capable enough to teach me even that.

I still remember when I found that out a couple of days ago when I tried to learn sorcery from Selene.

Selene herself was a sorcerer & had no experience in godly magic. Same with the other magicians that I could remember in Marvel.

Most of them were sorcerers & got their powers by borrowing them from somewhere else. So they wouldn't have any experience in the type of magic that I wanted to learn.

I truly am unlucky. I got a god bod but with a locked divinity, a mother box that didn't have access to most of its op abilities & even though I got reincarnated in a world where magic is possible, I still don't have a teacher to actually teach me that magic.

Wait, weren't there some loner type gods who were focused on magic in this world?

Of course, how could I forget. There was Amora, the Enchantress & Karnilla, the Queen of the Norns. They were supposed to be extremely powerful magic goddesses who would be able to teach me magic.

They were perfect for teaching me since they were more or less lone wolves & weren't loyal to their own pantheon. So I should be able to make some sort of deal with them in exchange for their knowledge.

But the question was how I would be able to contact with them. Although I now had the mother box which could theoretically boom tube me almost anywhere, I still would not be able to go somewhere if I didn't even know where it was.

I would probably have to wait until Thor or Loki came to Earth. Then I would be able to hitch a ride with them on their galactic Uber, um, I mean the Bifrost.

I could even make them agree to take me to either to Enchantress or to Karnilla if I ask them 'nicely' enough.

I could not help but have an evil smile on my face at my genius plans.

What do I know, maybe I was a god of wisdom after all.
