" Well what an auspicious turn of events. With this fiasco most, if not all, of the crew might have it out for me. A knife in the dark, or killing me with a borrowed knife doesn't matter what my background is then. The Guardian could not do anything since it was related to Fate, or else I would not have to worry too much. " Astro was tired to say the least.

He applied the drop of {Water of Eternity} to the {Everlasting Night} in hopes of mutating it. However, seeing the 'everlasting' in the name of the flute Astro felt that it would mutate considering that he was giving it an aspect of Eternity.

The drop of water falling on the dark-purple body of the flute, the drop landed near the crescent moon engraving at the mouthpiece. Within seconds, the drop was absorbed by the flute plusing a indigo ray of light along the body, birthing new patterns and cravings. When the pulse reached the end of the flute it converged and flowed through the interior then disappeared by the time it got to the mouthpiece.

The new long flute was a thing of beauty, its body a canvas for the majesty of the night sky. The deep, dark hue of the instrument's body evoked the inky expanse of the heavens, while twinkling stars were rendered in intricate detail upon its surface, as if the cosmos had been captured in the instrument's curves and contours.

But it was the engravings that truly set this flute apart, each one a testament to the reverence for the nocturnal world. The moon, glowing bright and radiant, had been carefully etched into the surface of the instrument, surrounded by a halo of delicate stars. Other aspects of the night had been immortalized in the flute's intricate design, from the graceful curves of sleeping trees to the gentle ripple of a nocturnal river.

[Birth] First Stanza-Call of the Night: Other then, the time at which the Sun is at its peak playing this melody will turn day into night. Call forth the moon and stars that lay hidden among the clouds. Player may use the stars and moon to condense the tunes into elemental attacks. When played at night the song can put anyone the player deems into a deep eternal slumber.

[Mutation Ability] Everlasting Song: A passive effect. To any that hear the songs of this flute, they will have a mark, Mark of the Moon, placed on them. It stays on one's person until they remove it through curse removing methods or the player removes it. Those marked are more susceptible to The Call of the Night. The songs of the flute make the listener more entranced and relaxed, clearing one's mind as though they had slept for days on end.

Condition: Extremely happy. It can not wait to form a contract with you as a show of appreciation. }

"Mutation ability! That's very rare, if I am not mistaken they only appear when a lifeform is nurtured with a core essence. With this I should be able to make it to the mainland without much insecurities. After all I do have the Guardian."

Astro relaxed somewhat after having gained some personal tangible power.

While Astro was improving himself, Tomas and Charles had long returned to the captain's quarters.

"Charles, you fool. Something worse than the {Sailer's Avarice}!! Are you braindead or simply an idiot? And you are telling me that no one from the Isles is capable of discerning that monstrosity!"

"Tomas... I-I di-I did not ask them. Okay!" Charles was embarrassed from the whole situation.

"That thing would have been the end of us, Charles! You are taking it too lightly. If someone is out to get you..." Tomas did not finish the sentence but Charles' face darkened by several shades when he heard that.

Charles was more afraid of Tomas' insinuations then the calamity he previously held onto.

"Th-There is no need to think such thoughts, Tomas. No one has any idea about our agreement. We only got this job because we were the only descendents that were going to the mainland at the time.

"Once can be forgotten. Twice will be noted. There will be NO third time." Tomas said with stern voice giving no room to negotiate.

"Onto different matters, the crew will be against the boy now that you pulled your octopus on him. And if someone is scheming against you than they will surely use this to strike at the boy while he is under our guard. As a result, we can't stop too much. Nicue and Vocicico we won't stop at Pokoli this time." Tomas stated.

"That's not enough, We will use up all our storage and warp. Once we get to Nicue there won't be to much interference from the sea and we will be able to warp to Vocicico." Charles added.

After determining the issue and the next course of actions, they returned to the deck and hashed out the misunderstanding as best as they could.

Night quickly came, one the crew longed for. A hour into the night the crew still awake heard a tune soft and hidden among the cool breeze of this soothing night. As the night deepened the tune became more ethereal almost becoming one with the wind.

"That boy..." A voice came from within the shadows of the Goliath.

The sun came up across the horizon once more glaring and unyielding in its heat. The crew had long awoken and were moving about the ship finishing their tasks. All of them had about them a look of relief and calm as if yesterday's events were but a dream to them.

"That child is able to affect everyone's mood to such a degree even though he just contracted to his Fae. Amazing." Charles spoke in admiration of Astro's ability.

"Amazing yes, but not permanent. A simple ripple can cause the previous undertones to return. Regardless, this makes me want to get away from him even more. Charles use as much fuel as needed and get us to Nicue within 2 days." Tomas was more unnerved than impressed by last night's recital.
