Chapter 141 Beauty Lies in the Eye of the Beholder

Chapter 141 Beauty Lies in the Eye of the Beholder

Although the explosion's location was quite remote, it managed to capture significant attention.

Barry Allen as The Flash was the first to reach the scene.

No traces were left at the site. The explosion method resembled that of bomb expert Betty or Stephen. Cisco, via satellite monitoring, identified Stephen driving away in the steel battle suit from the scene. Thus... this was Stephen's doing!

After The Flash departed, the police arrived once more. Barry Allen, in his civilian identity, had to appear again and inform Joe that Stephen was behind it, so their efforts wouldn't be wasted on an investigation.

Once the police left, another player's arrived.

The discreet A.R.G.U.S. agent had maintained a low profile for an extended period.

Following a thorough inspection, the person in charge reported the survey results, and the traces of happening anything left behind was cleaned completely.

As if nothing had ever happened there in the first place.

….

At the ship, The Disciple.

Stephen reverted the battle suit back to its bracelet form and inquired with Caitlin about the velocity serum formula. Incidentally, she had prepared a batch of spares before showing Trajectory, Eliza Harmon, which will help in sending her back to S.T.A.R. Labs.

The key to this serum lay in the Vandal Savage cell and unique power it posses. After careful observation, Stephen was confident this cell wouldn't resurrect Vandal Savage. With assurance, he stored it, realizing that Caitlin's alterations rendered the cell no longer a part of Vandal Savage.

Cells are, after all, just cells.

In the collection room, Stephen placed the Staff of Horus and the returned where trajectory was working on.

"This is nano-reduction technology. Apply this technology to the entire disciple. Once done, you are free!" Stephen shared the trajectory equation for recording.

Trajectory wanted to inquire about the serum. Although she knew the formula, possessing it would be pointless without regenerative cells.

"After that, I can continue..."

"Ring Ling Ling..."

Suddenly, the phone rang, and Stephen noticed the call.

"It's Laurel, I..."

"Miss me?" Stephen interjected with a grin.

"Felicity is here too," Laurel whispered.

"Oh? So you'd confess if she weren't there, ha," Stephen playfully teased.

Laurel remained silent for a brief moment on the other end. "My mother contacted me. A.R.G.U.S. wishes to see you. She seems to have something to discuss with you."

"Not interested."

Argus? They currently possess nothing of interest.

"They... they seem to have caught wind of you," Laurelton mentioned after a pause.

"Then let them come." Stephen replied dismissively, ending the call.

Laurel was taken aback and considered arguing, but ultimately relented. She turned to Felicity and shook her head. "He won't listen or see them. What should we do?"

"It doesn't matter; let him handle his own problems," Felicity said in frustration and resignation. "Let's keep searching for the huntress. She vanished after killing Frank. We need to locate her soon."

"Has Catwoman returned?" Laurel inquired.

"She got what she wanted. However, it appears she may return later after making two new acquaintances in Gotham," Felicity disclosed.

"Start with the Project." Stephen pocketed the phone and directed Trajectorys.

He disembarked the disciple and headed toward the villa where Laurie was instructing Thea in combat skills. Both were attired in shorts and vests. The long white legs were a pleasing sight to behold.

Upon spotting Stephen approaching, the two immediately halted.

"Go find someone. Her name is Black Siren. She wears a black leather coat and a nose ring. When you find her, bring her to me," Stephen instructed Laurie.

"Now?"

"Now!"

Laurie nodded and departed. After a while, the red and gold women's steel battle suit soared out of the villa.

Thea Queen gazed at Laurie's departure with envy, playfully holding onto Stephen's arm. She requested, "Can you make me a suit too? It's quite a challenge for me to beat Laurie."

Stephen remained unperturbed as he chuckled. "That does sound interesting."

"It's not fair!" She protested with a hint of irritation.

"Fairness is a matter for the God; I'm solely responsible for amusement!" Stephen patted Thea's butt, turned, and entered the villa.

Thea let out an unwilling snort before following suit.

Post-shower, Thea changed attire and lounged on the sofa, barefoot. Her head rested on cushions, while her lithe legs dangled over Stephen's, catching his attention.

Stephen smirked, choosing to ignore her, curious about the antics she might pull. Thea appeared nonchalant, yet her feet seemed to intentionally—or unintentionally—provoke Stephen. The man seemed on edge, and the woman, it appeared, had her sights set on the "Staff of Horus."

"This is so boring. I want to do some drugs," Thea Queen whispered suddenly.

"Then do it!" Stephen replied, reclining lazily on the sofa.

Unexpectedly, Thea Queen turned over, perched herself on Stephen's lap, and fixed him with an intense gaze. She declared, "You are my drug."

"Then so be it!" Stephen maintained his response.

"Humph!" Thea Queen huffed and gradually leaned in.

After taking drugs, people often lose their inhibitions, becoming impulsive, and right now, Thea was embodying just that. The sofa transformed into a battleground, a skirmish of tickling had commenced. (☞゚ヮ゚)☞[😈💃🏼 Devil's Tango]☜(゚ヮ゚☜)

After a considerable duration, Thea lacked the energy to move, her posture languid on the sofa. She peered lazily at Stephen, her tone now coquettish. "Could you make the battle suit for me first? I promise I won't wear it until I defeat Laurie!"

"You're quite the beauty," Stephen mused softly while gazing at Thea.

Thea responded with a sweet smile. "Really? What kind of beauty?"

"It's the kind that linger in mind!" Stephen tapped her leg, chuckling.

Thea, who had anticipated praise, was suddenly incensed. Just as she was about to rise and argue, the sound of the door opening reached her ears. She then observed Laurie walking in accompanied by another woman.

The battle suit on Laurie shrank into a bracelet as the woman arrived, disregarding the chaotic battleground. Laurie addressed Stephen, "I've brought her back."

"Laurel? What happened to you?"

Thea Queen's initial impulse was to get up and tidy up the wrinkle cloth. However, upon lifting her gaze, she locked eyes with Laurel Lance.

Clad in black leather, adorned with a choker and a silver nose ring, this punkish version of Laurel Lance was a far cry from the one Thea Queen knew.

"Do you recognize me?" Black Siren stared at Thea in surprise.
