Chapter 121 Bird of Prey
Dumbfounded!
Thea Queen observed Helena quietly wearing her uniform and staggering away, pondering a word that came to mind inexplicably.
"She said no, but her body spoke the truth!" Thea Queen initially thought so, as Stephen had appeared rough and intimidating, as though he had shed his friendly facade.
However, she soon realized her mistake when Helena took charge shortly after resisting, using her finger to grab back of his head and kissing fiercely.
The two grew incredibly close, seemingly forgetting her own existence in the room.
"Is everything okay?" Thea Queen asked Stephen who was on the bed, her disbelief evident.
Stephen chuckled softly. "Why wouldn't it be? There's nothing that can't be solved in one go, and if there is... it takes just two shots!"
"I will believe what you said for now," Thea Queen's understanding of the past hour or so had been refreshed. After a pause, she continued, "What happened just now in the restaurant... what was that about?"
"Your father and your half-brother teamed up to rescue you, but their abilities were lacking, and their relationship is very complicated. To put it simply, your father wants to destroy the slums, so he rallied many people to help. Numerous smaller actions were taken, and your stepfather was initially involved. Later, oliver father discovered the shame in doing the work and wanted to quit, but he was killed by your father. That was the Queen's Gambit incident."
"Your brother wants to atone for his father's mistake and protect the city, so... he and your father will likely clash for a while." Stephen briefly explained, then got up to take a shower.
When he returned, Thea Queen was still standing there, likely digesting the news.
Black Arrow? What to do with him?
The Bird of Prey team will undoubtedly investigate the major news from the restaurant. Catwoman has returned to Gotham, and Black Canary is the main force of the team. That's why Stephen instructed Helena to find something for Black Canary, and he also intends to inform Laurel that the true perpetrator behind her sister's murder was Black Arrow.
Facing Green Arrow, as well as facing Black Canary.
Black Arrow and his minions will be occupied.
As for Green Arrow? On one hand, he needs to find Thea and deal with Black Arrow, and on the other hand, he must prevent Black Canary from killing black arrow.
Then I will find something to do for myself.
Although Stephen could crush Green Arrow with a single blow, his existence would soon return to dust. Time would erase him swiftly. What fun is that?
This world is his playground.
He didn't plan to destroy the world, nor did he aspire to rule it or become a bloodthirsty monster. He simply wanted to enjoy the happiness and amusement the world provided, or actively seek out some excitement. He didn't want to live a boring life like Reverse Flash did for over a decade!
"I'll leave here tomorrow. Will you come with me, or where would you like to go?" Stephen asked Thea Queen.
"Where are you going?" Thea Queen inquired.
"First, we'll return to Central City for some fun, and then maybe head to an intriguing destination." Stephen grinned, a tinge of anticipation in his expression. The real Harrison Wells' corpse had been sent back, and Reverse Flash's true identity should be exposed.
He couldn't remain at S.T.A.R. Labs, but The Flash would go to great lengths to trouble him, leaving evidence to have his father, who was wrongfully incarcerated, released. Reverse Flash couldn't truly kill The Flash and might even have to assist him.
Oh, how infuriated Reverse Flash must be!
If he were to bring the Earth II villain's here, it would be even more entertaining.
The only issue now is his speed sufficiency. He can be as fast as he desires, shattering as many pieces as he wishes, but traversing the universe requires not only speed but also skill and time.
"I don't want to go home, and I don't know where else to go."
"Then come with me!" Stephen decided decisively.
As the sun gradually set, Stephen made his way to the headquarters of the Bird of Prey team.
Over the past few years, many changes had taken place there. The base was now equipped with a wider array of equipment. There was a special glass cabinet displaying Black Canary and Catwoman uniforms and gear.
Felicity was seated at the computer, studying something, while Laurel, not far away, was exercising in shorts and a vest.
Suddenly, red lightning illuminated the room.
Stephen appeared out of nowhere.
Felicity was stunned and stood up, and Stephen walked over to embrace were waist and kiss her cherry lips.
Observing Felicity and Stephen kissing, Laurel paused in her exercises, a complex expression crossing her face.
"What about me?" Stephen released Felicity and opened his arms, looking at Laurel. Laurel glanced instinctively at Felicity and didn't respond, but Stephen had already embraced her, Smelling his fresh scent, Her face on his chest.
Ding Ding Ding! Laurel felt her heart racing.
"Laurel, Now I can tell you who that person is." Stephen released Laurel and chuckled.
Laurel was taken aback and asked hurriedly, "Who is it?"
"You were investigating the restaurant, right? Besides Green Arrow, Oliver Queen, there is another vigilante called Black Arrow. He trains the assassins disguised as League of Assassins members. His true identity is Malcolm Merlyn." Stephen summarized the matter concerning Malcolm Merlyn. Felicity and Laurel were dumbfounded.
So it was him! The Merlyn Group is a prominent organization in Star City, and Malcolm Merlyn is a significant figure.
While Laurel was still processing the news, Stephen and Felicity went to see the remains of the real Dr. Harrison Wells. Though unrecognizable, the DNA was sufficient to confirm the identity.
"I've taken the body, and I'll return to Central City tomorrow," Stephen said with a smile.
"Leaving tomorrow? What about Thea Queen?" Felicity unexpectedly asked.
Stephen smirked. "She'll come along. Let Green Arrow find her at his own pace. By the way, Laurel, did Oliver Queen approach you when he returned?"
"I found him!" Laurel replied calmly. "He wanted to apologize to me."
"And then?" Stephen inquired.
Laurel slowly raised her hand and mimicked a slap.
Stephen grinned and gave a thumbs-up. "Good job. I thought you..."
"What do you think of me?" Laurel squinted at Stephen. Did he think that I would react like? Not Holding back and killing him, seeking revenge for my sister is already my limit!
...
AN: Green Arrow's story is truly hard to grasp. Some of the plotlines don't captivate Stephen much, so the focus shifts to Thea and the Bird of Prey. After writing this arc, let's do something on Earth II. Honestly, perhaps some readers might feel that the plot lacks a central thread and feels more scattered? However, with the protagonist's power, there's hardly anything that can truly challenge him at the moment. It's all about copying abilities, causing trouble, and amusing himself. I'll strive to reduce irrelevant plots and concentrate on the main storyline and major events.
