Chapter Nine

"Sin System, I need you now!" I whisper, not wanting to draw any more embarrassing audience to myself after that dramatic commotion out there as I slapped myself for the third time while looking into the mirror.

I looked at the person in the mirror looking hideous with rough hair and an out of style cloak. I should have chosen the tuxedo or my simple plain jeans and tshirt. I wonder what the princess must have thought looking at me, the Sin System should have given me the Mission to level up my wardrobe first.

I checked my wrist watch to see my rank and level but the neon light effect was off. Just great

*Growl Growl Growl*

"Sin system?" I called again, making up my mind to go and take the free meal without partaking in my mission if the Sin System doesn't respond, especially when the decision to choose who is more annoying between my rumbling stomach and Sun System.

"I need a change of outfits and a clean haircut " I said ignoring his first statement, he is not in my shoes so how will the Sin system know?!

"How come the black tuxedo is already 1000 gold coins?! I have not won anything to have an upgrade…so,I don't have enough gold to buy a tuxedo.I hound have chosen it first but SinSystem is out for my James's for giving a cheaper option of a police costume and a yellow cloak.

Am I a sunflower or raincoat?!

I checked my wrist watch which blinked in a kind of blue neon light.

"Oh shit, I have gone down a few numbers in my rank. I sighed looking at myself in the mirror washing my face and trying to ruffle my hair to make it a bit presentable.

I looked at my blue cloak once more , what exactly makes me look like a beggar huh?!" I sighed, taking off the blue cloak leaving me only a light see through white t-shirt and blue pants with the marching tapping sound making boots.

I had to go closer to the mirror because I noticed that my features are all of a sudden more sharp than my usual lanky non gym attending self.

My lean body has developed quite some not Sonic's but still impress muscles while my posture seems a bit more taller with a more sharper jawline.

Looks, I doubt is what ladies want in this generation, I feel like they tend to run toward those show off , Rich and overconfident guys and I am none of them and this is a damn princess we are talking about.

So I puffed my chest , removed a few buttons showing off a little of my new found chest and tried walking around the restroom boss.

*Loud banging Tap Tap Tap!*

"Get out already , stop whatever you are planning in there!" I sighed at the ugly voice rolling my eyes , my shoulders slacking as I went back into the Tea Area to meet the princess and girls already on their way out to continue my non-existent plan of action towards flirting with princess Edwina the third.

"Princess Edwina" I shouted, stretching my hands but the 2 guards blocked my way and took me back to a chair with 2 cold teas and a sandwich.

The princess's table was filled with a lot of fancy looking over the leftover snacks, I would have packed them in a take away not sure if what Sin System is up to.

All thoughts of Princess Edwina and I flirting with her was all gone , my mouth watering as I sat down to munch down the food ignoring the eleroy woman's glare.

*Mmmm mmm ahh*

I sighed, finishing my breakfast which tasted rather refreshing and quite different from the tea I am used to back home. No wonder the elderly lady is all arrogant , her food tastes better than her attitude and I don't blame princess Edwina for choosing to come here.

I must commend the Sin system for how realistic this video game is.

I tried looking around with no sign of the Princess and her bodyguards.

"Sin System , Mission Successful " I said with a loud proud grin.

"Hey , I was supposed to flirt with the princess and get breakfast with her. I made her laugh back there and hey! I just finished the food she bought for me!"

[You both are supposed to eat together]

"Oh no " I feigned innocence even though I am low key glad I got some food to eat. I ran towards the door but Princess Edwina was and her chicken clustering entourage were not in sight.

This is not fair! The sun system wasn't specific,how am I supposed to know that we must share the same table…doesn't that make it a date already and my hair is not looking nice enough for me to go out on a date with a princess with it on.
