54 Chapter 54: A Kiss

Seiya was on in an elevator alone to meet the manager of the park. He had seen the girl from anime but he wanted to meet the girl in person.

Isuzu wanted to show him the way but he refused to leave Utaha alone and so Isuzu had to wait with Utaha down to the waiting area.

Then the bell rang as he reached the top floor and walked outside, a vast view came into his sight. It was a beautiful castle as if hanging on the surface, no, Seiya could only conclude it as real-life hanging gardens.

In the middle, there was a girl surrounded by birds. She had long blond hair and blue eyes wearing a princess-like dress.

"Are you Seiya Kanie-sama?" The girl smiled as she noticed the young boy.

"Ah, yes," Seiya replied. If not for his mental resistance then he would have been captivated with the beauty of the little girl.

"I am sorry for the trouble, Kanie-sama. My name is Latifa Fleuranza. I am this theme park's manager~!"

'Manager?' It was certainly odd to see a little girl in princess dress acting in that post.

"I hope Isuzu-san wasn't too impolite. I am the one who asked her to bring you here."

"Well, she asked me on a date at gunpoint even after knowing that I had a date with my girlfriend." Seiya haughtily replied. Previous Seiya would show some remorse but this Seiya won't beat around the bush.

"Ah haha… She just doesn't know how to convince a gentleman. She is still learning to her way out. I apologize on her behalf." The girl gave a helpless smile.

"Well, I have figured her nature on my way so I guess it can't be helped."

"Thank goodness. It's just that she was like that way because I had sent her with a request for you." Latifa said and started walking towards Seiya.

"Request?"

Standing against Seiya, Latifa closed the distance between their face and looked deep into his eyes. The first time Seiya realized how lifeless her cheerful eyes looked up close.

"Kanie-sama, I would be most grateful if you accept my proposal to become the manager of the Amagi Brilliant Park."

"…oh."

Isuzu looked a little nervous as she was sitting with Seiya's girlfriend.

As top-tier loners of their school, there was nothing they can start a conversation with.

Utaha looked sleepy as she was on the last pages of her book. Even though the park was restful, she still burned almost all of her energy.

Utaha was also disappointed a little. Not because the date turned out to be boring but she burned most of her stamina that she was reserved for the night with Seiya.

In the end, Isuzu finally decided to initiate the conversation.

"I am sorry, Kasumigaoka-san."

"…for what?" Utaha asked while her

"I think I have caused a lot of trouble for both."

"…even though you are apologizing, I think you are still confused as to what exactly upset Seiya. By the way, I am fine with the date."

Isuzu was a little confused but she did realize that she still couldn't grasp what kind of trouble she had caused.

"Sigh* very well then…" Utaha then sighed and closed the book and looked directly at Isuzu, "I am also not very good at reading my boyfriend but know that he has a big pride. He might be a narcissist and may appear like a self-centered person who loves himself but it is kind of his personality. Inside, he can understand people more than anyone.

If you just talk without pulling a gun then he might have agreed."

Isuzu nodded. She had been observing Seiya for some years. Although he was supposed to be a narcissist with few good traits, he was not the person who would listen to just anyone.

However, the Seiya she observed over the two weeks, appeared to be a completely different person. Was there an error in her calculations? That was the basis of her confusion since whom she observed over the years and whom she spent the 'date' with were two different persons.

"I also know that you might be confused but Seiya has changed from his past self. So Isuzu-san might need to reassess his profile."

Isuzu nodded, "I understand. Thank you very much, Kasumigaoka-san. I will definitely repay you for your kindness."

Utaha then smirked, "Then can you show me your ass?"

"E-excuse me?!" Isuzu flinched.

"I mean I have to see how you can pull that huge gun out of your ass?" Utaha gazed into her eyes and started examining (read: Ogling) Isuzu's body. "If she can pull gun this big from her ass then I think she can be a perfect candidate as my partner in his bed since Seiya's 'gun' is of similar size." She muttered last words.

Isuzu covered her body with her hands. She thought that she should be more cautious of this girl than Seiya.

"It is magic, right?"

Isuzu widened her eyes.

"No need to get so shocked. After all, the first time you pulled that gun from your ass, I have figured that it was some kind of magic. And I confirmed this theory when I came to this park. Those talking flowers were real and that mouse mascot was also a real living creature."

"H-how…?"

"Well, living with Seiya has improved my ability to read the environment and its truth. Even Seiya knew from the start. He is my boyfriend after all." Utaha sighed and then leaned on the table to rest. "I am going to take a nap here. When Seiya will come, just ask him to carry me."

Isuzu subconsciously nodded. Just what the hell are these two high schoolers?

"Did you like the croquettes that I prepared?" Latifa asked the brown-haired boy sitting the opposite sipping his tea.

"Yes, they were delicious." Seiya said and then looked into Latifa's eyes, "But how did you make them? I mean you have to use fire and oil and you…"

"Yes, I am blind. Hmm hm~, but it's no problem. I just know the sizzling sound when I made them so it's no problem."

(AN: I am following the manga and not anime where she was not blind.)

Yeah, she was definitely blind. When Seiya looked up close to her eyes, he immediately knew that there was something wrong with her eyes. Although they were beautiful blue eyes at first glance, they appeared void of life if you look closer.

"Kanie-sama, I might know but I like to hear your experience in this park."

"Horrible." Seiya took a sip off his tea and spoke, "If not for the croquettes, I might have to complain to authorities why this kind of park exists in the first place. I am just wondering why this park hasn't been shut down."

At his remark, Latifa looked down but Seiya remained unfazed.

He was not the person to butter words if he has no good impression of this park even if the manager is a cute blind girl.

"I see. Then this might be more reason that you accept this request."

"Are you seriously expecting an affirmative answer? Asking something to such a charming high schooler…"

"Hehe, charming high schooler? I guess you are right on that part and as an ordinary person who was born on earth might say that but as a royal family member of the Magic Country, Maple Land, this park is an important bestowed domain."

"Ahh, what?"

Is there some kind of lore in the anime?

"This park was erected on earth my magic country, Maple Land. It is the land that stands between earth and the ocean. There are many others like this on different parts of the earth."

'Please tell me that area 51 is not one of them? I mean why the hell US hasn't invaded yet?' Seiya thought.

I mean the first thing the US would do is to send the CIA there, make a democratic government and then destroy the land as she did with the rest of the world.

"You see, we gather feelings of amusement and excitement from our customers and change into 'animus', an important source of energy that is important for inhabitants of this park."

"…" Seiya was still processing what the hell this loli was saying.

Are they actually operating some kind of reverse dungeons like demon lords where they feed on positive human emotions than negative ones?

He knows that magic or supernatural exists but this concept of other lands that are connected to earth was still unbelievable for him. For that reason, he didn't know how to reply.

Should he just say that "Yeah, I know magic exists," and then pull a jar of dry fish from his Inventory? So he wanted to learn more.

"I think you might not understand so I will bestow you with magic."

"Magic?"

Seiya widened his eyes when he heard the word, 'magic' as excitement reached his eyes.

"Yes, it should be able to convince you. I don't know the kind of magic you will use but I am positive that it will help you."

Just as she spoke, she stood up and walked towards Seiya with a burning red face.

She then placed her hands on his shoulders and looked at Seiya with trembling eyes and rosy cheeks.

"Kanie-sama, this will be my first and last feelings you will see." Latifa smiled and then gently lifted his chin with her tiny hands on his cheeks, "T-then excuse me…"

Just as the distance between their lips got closer, Seiya realized that she was going to kiss him but... should he even do this? He had a girlfriend and his first kiss was supposed to be with her. Is that called cheating?

He didn't have time or to be more precise, he didn't want to let this opportunity go, the opportunity to learn magic.

Their lips met.

Soft and warm, this is how he can explain this sensation of her lips.

The kiss didn't last long but Seiya was still in a daze as an unknown electricity current run down to his nape, he felt a burning sensation in his stomach.

It was magic as the screen suggests.

[An unknown source has triggered new energy to the host. MAGIC has been awakened.]

[Main Quest has been completed.]
