48 Chapter 48: Some problems and shocks
At the abandoned hospital, Seiya was practicing his close combat training with Yoruichi.
For the past week, Seiya had been practicing his close combat training with Yoruichi at night time. Since he had already written his novel, all left for him is to pour his time into training his body.
"For now, your training wind up," Yoruichi said and Seiya nodded.
After that, they sat down on chairs. Yoruichi started eating dried fish while Seiya opened his status window while wiping his sweat.

For the past week, his stats have risen greatly. Although it was hard to manage school and such brute training together, he was still able to manage the schedule. He would have gained more strength if not for Yoruichi persisting to increase stamina above all. Plus, as he was getting stronger, it was getting harder to increase stats with mundane training.
"Say, Yoruichi, if you have to measure my combat ability to someone then where would I stand?" Seiya asked.
For the past week, he was trying hard to make any combat-related skill. He read and practiced Judo, karate, kickboxing, and several other martial arts in his free time but he was not able to make a single skill related to fighting style. He didn't know if it's just a system bug or he was simply not made to fight but either way, it was quite a problem.
"Hmm, I would say that you could beat any one of your age or even beat professional lightweight fighters," Yoruichi said as she observed Seiya's troubled look while chewing dried fish.
"What about my progress? How would it take me to learn such technique?" Seiya asked.
"I don't usually praise people who I train but you are the fastest learner I have ever seen considering you don't have any combat experience. Why are you asking? Your golden finger isn't working anymore?" Yoruichi smirked.
Even though she was aware that Seiya has some kind of supernatural ability considering how he could take out things from thin air, she didn't know how he could climb levels of given skills. She knew that there was something Seiya was troubled with and she thought about teasing him.
"No, I was just thinking about changing my martial art teacher seeing how nosy my current sensei is." Seiya gazed. There was no way he is going to reveal his system to her.
"You are so funny. You wouldn't do that right? Right?!!" Yoruichi started to sweat.
Seiya shook his head, "Anyway, is there a name of your techniques or something?"
"Hmm, what I am teaching you is called Hakuda or simple Hand-to-Hand Combat. It is a combination of several martial arts but the base is using your whole body to fight." Yoruichi explained.
'This is similar to Bleach. If that's the case then she must also know about other three combat techniques namely Zanjutsu (sword fight), Hohō (Fast Movement), and Kidō (Demon Arts).' Seiya thought. Of course, it was just his assumption as the case might be different seeing how different this world is.
Anyway, he got up from his seat and asked, "Hey, I am going for a walk to get some drinks. Wanna tag along?"
Yoruichi, without even asking anything, turned into a cat and jumped in his arms.
Seiya didn't know why Yoruichi insisted on going with her cat form than a regular human form when it comes to interacting with other people. Maybe she was hiding or something, who knows.
Seiya then strolled on the streets before finally finding a vending machine. However before he could reach the spot, he heard some noises coming from an alleyway.
Some punks were beating a fat person wearing a cap who seemed like a high schoolboy.
"Seems like your time to test your abilities are here," Yoruichi spoke.
"Yeah." Seiya nodded. Besides, if he leaves, he would be returning for being a coward. If he could help the boy then he must go for it. There was no hesitation this time.
"Hey, who are you punk?!" One of them noticed Seiya who was walking towards them with a black cat in his arms.
One near Seiya, who was this 6'4 feet tall guy, approached Seiya to beat the shit of wannabe hero but to all of their surprise, the brown-haired boy easily dodged the punch with the cat still in his arms.
Too slow.
Seiya can't help but think that the man was very slow and predictable. For someone like Seiya who had mathematic skills at master level, he can simply calculate any moment within a millisecond.
Seiya then raised his elbow and jabbed the tall guy, below the end of his ribcage.
"Ghuah!" The guy groaned with pain and started to vomit.
Everyone again was shocked as the big guy was defeated before a proper fight even began. One of them was also Seiya as he felt that it was really easy to deal with these thugs than he has imagined.
He felt stupid for being scared of thugs like these before. Of course, he was a lot stronger and committed than before but still, he could have shown his heroics in front of Utaha.
"Scram," Seiya spoke.
The thugs squealed with fear before running away and also dragged their boss.
"Thank you Kanie-sama! You just saved me!"
Seiya then heard the boy who was beaten up. He was confused as to how the fat guy knows him before he saw his uniform.
"Ah sorry for that…! My name is Itaru Hashida. I am also from the second year of the same school…!"
'Wait, Itaru Hashida… Is he… Daru from Steins;Gate?' Seiya then realized the identity of this chubby guy.
Daru was one of the main characters from the all-time famous anime Steins; Gate where Daru was involved in making the time machine and eventually fucking the timeline. Aside from that, he was also a very talented computer engineer and gadgets developer.
Seiya didn't know if this world has other retards like Rintaro or Kurisu but if they are here then this world has another threat.
For now, Seiya asked Daru to leave this area and don't get involved with thugs. Seiya also exchanged his phone number with him making this chubby-looking boy, his friend before leaving separate ways.
He didn't know if Daru has the same capabilities or he is just a chubby mob guy but he character from one of his favorite anime so there is nothing to lose here.
"It was quite a heroic of you." The black cat complimented him.
"It was natural action on my part."
"But being a hero comes with a cost whether you like it. Are you prepared for the commitment?"
Seiya looked at the black cat and thought wondered what she was thinking.
"First of all, I have no intention of being the hero who would just go around and save everyone. I just want to help someone who is in my view and I am capable of doing so."
"I am asking if you could go to 'that' length."
She must be asking if of dealing with people once and for all.
Seiya sighed and then smiled, "There are two types of heroes, one who kills people and one who protects them. If my acts fall under the category of heroics then I want to be a later one. Not for the whole world but the people who have a close bond with me."
Seiya remembers that line of Achilles from FGO. Even though Achilles knew that he was fated to die early since he was the hero who kills people, he didn't regret it and jumped into the battle.
(AN: Yeah I am talking about Altantis lostbelt. Before that I kind of hated Achilles for being a dick in Trojan War.)
No matter what others say about religious rights and sins but karma does hit hard when at the worst time. So for that, he wants to be a person who helps his people.
It was then the cat jumps from his arms and before Seiya could look behind, he felt a hand rubbing his head.
"Kid, I am proud of you. Don't surrender this commitment." He heard Yoruichi's human voice before the cat jumps back in his arms.
'What's with her…?' Seiya thought with pink cheeks. He was kind of happy to hear the praise but curious as to what Yoruichi went through to act this way.
"Say… do you have an asshole in cat form?" Seiya asked as he was curious as to the biology she shares between her two forms. It's not like he wanted to poke it.
"…Yes. Poke it and no one in this world will find you."
Seiya shuddered with a chill and shook away the topic.

Seiya was in his room, drinking milk after taking a bath, as the mission from before has been completed.

Of course, he accepted the reward.

"Oh, that's not a problem. I will make it on time. No worries. After all, your boyfriend is the super handsome multitalented genius guy so don't fret." Seiya flicked his hair and took a sip from the bottle.

"Phoooooo* cough* cough* what in the actual fu*k?!!"
Seiya was stunned and speechless.
"Why did you do that?"
[H-hey, it's not my fault…! After all, if the information is correct then I had to take precautions in case you destroy condoms or you are looking to impregnate me!]
Seiya shook his head. Now he had to face a father who must be thinking if his daughter actually dating a 7-foot tall African guy instead of a good-looking high school boy, thanks to his troublesome girlfriend.
His image was ruined in Utaha's parents' eyes before he could even meet them.
After some internal concussions and confirming the timing and place of the dinner, he hung the phone. He didn't ask much about her parents as for their likes or dislikes since he didn't want to sound like a chicken.
"Well, it was evident to face them at some point. Whelp, gonna meet the in-laws tomorrow." Seiya muttered and smiled.
It was a little embarrassing to meet the parents of the girlfriend so early on but he was calm and kind of excited to win the heart of his girl.
