44 Chapter 44: A song by the Narcissist
"Ah, Seiya, your culinary skills are improved again. I'm lovin it so much~." Aisu moaned as she chewed the piece of juicy fish.
"This is true, Seiya. Not even five-star hotels serve food this delicious." Shido, Seiya's father also praised.
"Thanks, guys." This time Seiya surpassed his narcissist side and thanked them with his heart.
He was happy to have dinner with his family after a week. He was mostly living alone in his house with Aisu visiting him once in a while.
His father Shido was also traveling abroad and just returned this morning. So for their reunion, he threw a feast dinner for them.
Even though it was just a week, everyone had changed so much that they were looking quite young.
Aisu changed into a beauty of her own league due to Seiya's heavenly massage.

'Urg!' Seiya silently groaned with disappointment. Besides acting, singing and music were also on his black list. It was due to his mother who used to force him to sing and learn music.

"Just say what instrument you want to play. I will get them clean." Aisu smiled and stood up.
"Hmm, I have recording materials. I guess you want to upload it on YouTube?" Shido asked.
Seiya smiled when he saw their stand in his demand and then started to explain what kind of song he wanted to sing and record.
30 minutes later.
"I can't believe you still had this…"
It was a big piano that was licking dust a few minutes ago and now it was all new. It was the piano he won in a competition when he was a child. Even though it was old, it was still a first-class piano that his father kept in check. What a sweet father he is.
So many good and bitter memories were attached to it.
Anyway, Aisu adjusted his account and visual material while his father prepared a recording system for him since he was experienced in the camera field.
Seiya on other hand also changed his appearance so that he doesn't have to worry about being recognized in school. "Is that your original?" Shido asked who was standing beside Aisu. Since Seiya requested the microphone then he must also want to sing.
Seiya didn't reply as he was thinking about the song he could sing. He was also looking at the skill panel in front of him.

So the next question is what kind of song he wanted to play.
It was then images of a kind man began projecting in front of him. The person was Seiya's senior in his college who helped him a lot throughout Seiya's life. He was always there when he needed advice and he was also the one who helped him to graduate with good grades.
That person didn't have any advocate background but he used to help Seiya a lot.
Besides his father, that kind senior was his best friend and the second most important person of his life. There was only one wish that Seiya had and that was to meet that person one last time and thank him.
A tear left his eyes and he pressed the first key.

Just as these English words started to come out from his lips, a surge of emotions strikes both Aisu and Shido to their spine.
Seiya's voice as well as the melody he was playing was so deep with emotions that even they started to see images of their friends who were with them but now they were either left the world or forgotten by time.

Seiya was only immersed in the song where he could see his senior and him talking in the cafeteria as well as the time when they had group studies.

There was a time when he made mistakes but the senior was there standing with him. They were like true brothers who would always be there for each other if the bad time stuck them.
The senior was also there to offer Seiya a shoulder to mourn for his father's death.

He didn't need to worry about video since he sang that song in English and he was confident in his skills to get the views.

Unknown to him, two boys, one with blond hair and one with red hair had tears in their eyes as they were listening to a new youtube song that was recommended to them.
"Sniff* He is Seiya right?! I can't believe he misses me this much…." Shiro rubbed his teary eyes as he watched the video where a brown-haired boy was playing a song. Seiya might be using makeup to hide his appearance but for someone like Shiro who bears him daily, it was not hard for him to recognize this narcissist.
Beside Shiro was sitting Ryota Kise who has befriended Shiro after his match with Seiya.
"Of course, he was thinking about me! Sniff* I am his childhood friend and known him from his acting days!" Kise was also full of tears and snots. He was on his way to the conventional store when he found Shiro there so they were chatting about how to make Seiya join the basketball club when Shiro received a recommended video and then they started watching it.
They then started arguing to whom Seiya dedicated this song.
"Kise-san, I might look weak but I have been training with Seiya for the past couple of days so the title of best friend should go to me." Shiro stood with rage.

And they continued their argument.

A boy wearing an orange and black tracksuit was watching them from afar while holding plastic bags. He also came for some groceries and found two boys fighting over a girl named Seiya.
He shook his head and just as he was about to cross the road, he disappeared leaving the plastic bags on the street.
"…Did you see that sh*t, Sakatsuki-san?"
"…ah yeah…" Shiro rubbed his eyes and shook his head, "Let's get out of here."
"Yeah…" Kise also nodded and bumped his fist with Shiro's and then they walked away.
They just witnessed a supernatural kidnapping but they ignored it for the best.
