Chapter 117: Shirogane Family

"Hmm? Dio, who is he?" Papa Shirogane asked.

"Oh, my bad. I was talking to myself." Seiya woke up from his daze, cleaning misunderstanding.

Seiya just couldn't believe he heard such a legendary voice in real-time. He remembered that Dio and Papa Shirogane shared the same voice actors from Seiya's previous life, so he expected to hear the same voice.

Seiya introduced himself while Papa Shirogane also did the same before sitting at the low Japanese table to talk about business while Miyuki and Kei began preparing dinner.

Seiya and Aisu wanted Papa Shirogane's help because their company needed to be structured, like how many departments the company should have or what kind of people it should seek.

Although Hanako Koyanagi and Tarō Kabakura were a great help who often spent the late hours for The Romani Entertainments, the company still needed the advice of an expert. For having Management Ranked C skill, Seiya could also manage the company, but if he wanted, he wouldn't be seeking the help of others.

"She used to work under me when she first began to work as an adult but right after the downfall of my factory, she left. We are still in touch with each other."

"Oh." Seiya thought if Aizu was interested in Papa Shirogane. If you ignore sharp eyes, Papa Shirogane Shirogane was still a good-looking person, especially in his voice.

Miyuki was also listening to the conversation, enthralled by how mature Seiya was compared to Miyuki. Seiya was just a high school student, yet he was already engaged in making his own company so early. Miyuki wasn't gonna deny that he was a little envious of Seiya, but his respect for Seiya also grew a lot. He was interested in knowing how Seiya managed his studies to achieve such high-end knowledge.

Through Seiya's conversation, Kei was also fuming with excitement to know more about Seiya. She was Seiya's biggest fan and loved his songs. Since the talk was over, Seiya was about to leave when Miyuki and Kei stopped him and had dinner with them. Seiya didn't want to turn the invitation, so he agreed.

They then had a warming meal where Seiya shared his dreams of making a big company related to all kinds of professions. Miyuki and Kei were fascinated by how big Seiya's actual vision was. They didn't know a high schooler could dream like that and actually work for the dream while keeping his athletic and academics in check.

In such a short amount of time, Seiya befriended the Shirogane family.

Seiya also talked about Miyuki's friend or if he was seeing someone to see if he began to fall for Kaguya Shinomiya, but Miyuki didn't show any sign of having any love interest. Since it was a topic to discuss between boys, Seiya decided to hold his curiosity for now.

"I wish my old man could get a stable job…." Miyuki sighed when the topic of his unemployed father came.

Papa Shirogane, although he was a good advisor, was terrible at work other than the management of a profitable company, and in a country where employment is scarce, hardly any company would employ a man with that mindset and such significant debt.

"Then Shirogane-san, why don't you try your luck with YouTube? With such a manly voice and your experience as a career consultant, I am sure you will become famous in no time." Seiya suggested.

Seiya could have given Papa Shirogane employment in his new company, but Seiya wanted to start what he was good at and make money. Seiya could also listen to Papa Shirogane's manly voice daily.

"You think my voice is sexy?"

"Old man, Seiya didn't say that!"

Kei ignored the father and son duo and asked Seiya, "Isn't that just for part-time? I mean, just how much a streaming side could pay?"

Seiya smiled and secretly showed Kei his past month's income. Kei widened her eyes and looked at Seiya.

"Money is just flowing everywhere. One just should have the means to grab it." Seiya smiled, "Don't worry, Kei-chan. Your father would earn more than working for any company. I guarantee."

Kei nodded and smiled, "Thank you, Seiya-san."

Seiya nodded and then explained how Papa Shirogane could start his streaming site and how would he people paying him. There was no rocket science, but the problem was a good computer. Papa Shirogane couldn't afford a laptop for the time being, but Seiya offered to lend his computer.

At first, both Papa Shirogane and Miyuki didn't want to trouble Seiya, but Seiya showed them pics of how many laptops he owned. They were all sponsorship gifts Seiya was receiving after selling his songs at low cost to various studios worldwide.

Soon it was time for departure, so Seiya bid farewell to two siblings and came out with Papa Shirogane. He also gave Kei his autograph, making the little girl happy.

"Seiya-kun, I think there is something you still want to ask." Papa Shirogane said as he walked with Seiya to see the young boy off.

"You are quite sharp, Shirogane-san." Seiya smirked, "Well, I did some digging from Aisu and found out that you are in 500 million yen debt. We both know that you can't accumulate such debt, Shirogane-san."

"Hm. Yes, it is, and if I believe in Aisu-chan's word about Seiya-kun's intellect, I think you have already figured out who was behind the destruction of my factory."

"Shinomiya Zaibatsu," Seiya stated the corporation's name behind the downfall of Papa Shirogane's family. Just like anime, the Shirogane family was suffering from the same fate.

"Please don't mention the name in front of my children. I don't want them to harbor any ill intent or hatred in their hearts."

"I know that's why I didn't ask this in front of them." Seiya smiled, understanding the kind of Dio's worries for his children. "But are you going to remain in debt all your life? With your mature business senses, I think you can clear such unjust debt in court."

As a lawyer in his previous life, Seiya thought even a kid could win the case with just basic knowledge.

"Yes, I can win, but we are talking about Shinomiya Zaibatsu here. Justice wouldn't work against such giants here, Kanie-kun. All I can do here is wait for Shijo Group to start the war against Shinomiya."

So that was Papa Shirogane's plan. Seiya also knew what would happen from the manga and anime.

"Sigh* though the loss of my wife was greater than my fortune. I wonder if she can return to me after I get my hold on the ground." Papa Shirogane sighed and smiled.

"You do love your wife. Men are hopeless when it comes to love."

Seiya wasn't angry with Papa Shirogane for holding his feelings for a woman who had left him in danger because of her comfort zone. After all, Seiya's mother was also the same kind of woman who had left Seiya and his father just because Seiya once retaliated against her.

Seiya even came to hate women altogether just a year ago. If not for his transmigration to live again and Utaha opening his heart, he would have lived similar dry life.
