Silently creeping through the forest the Wendigo was currently looking for something to sate it's hunger, while it's body was bigger and stronger than others of it's race it also required substantially more food to fuel it. Stalking through the familiar path of it's usual hunting grounds the Wendigo was looking for anything that could lead to it's next meal. Spotting the occasional unnaturally overturned rock or various footprints it had learnt to track while continuing forward. Keeping it's guard up for any unwelcome predators where it usually hunted, although it could detect most creatures it knew that it wasn't the strongest around, though for how long that would last was anyone's guess.
While walking around it was also reviewing what it could have done better in the various fights it had been taken part in. Although it wouldn't usually pick fight with others without reason, being somewhat docile in nature. He knew that even if he didn't want to fight (not that he didn't enjoy it) some creatures were just naturally aggressive, it had met plenty of those when it was just recently born, unable to determine strength and danger of other beasts around it
Being alone, and not in a pack like those wolves it fought a while back, the Wendigo had decided to make up for their numbers with individual strength, it would look for all the mistakes it made, making sure to not repeat them. Gradually getting stronger... with every fight it improved, with every battle it picked various tricks to make it just that much harder for it's enemy. Eventually reaching a level of strength where other beasts avoided him, just as he had done them.
It didn't know if there were more of itself like those wolves, however it hadn't seen any on it's hunting trips, eventually deciding that it didn't matter and just focused on improving it's own strength so it didn't have to be so careful around the more powerful creatures around.
A few hours later the Wendigo was wandering back to it's current lair with the carcass of a beast in hand just luxuriating in the nature around it. The lumbering creature was still somehow completely silent bar the occasional cluster of leaves ruffling against it's giant horns.
About halfway back to it's cave, the Wendigo started hearing noises at the edge of it's listening range, cocking it's head it paused in thought. It hadn't heard anything like this in the area before, it didn't have the foreboding feeling warning it for a stronger foe either, deciding to follow the noise the Wendigo continued it's leisurely walk.
Gradually approaching the foreign noise the lumbering giant slowed slightly, taking care to hide it's presence as to not alert a potential enemy. Getting closer, the Wendigo came upon a small clearing, the surrounding foliage seemingly teeming with life. Having dropped it's recent hunt further back as to not have the smell of blood give it away, the Wendigo slightly crouched as it neared.
"-ah!? Bah!"
'Mark my words, you hear!? When I find you it'll be too late to beg for mercy you bitch!' The sheep now red sheep having screamed at the sky for what felt like an eternity gradually quieted down. Taking a few deep breaths it tried to organize it's thoughts.
'Alright... Fu-! No, no, okay I don't deserve this, fuck that Goddess, giving me a shitty, non-sentient system that I can't make into a waifu. Fuck! Alright, let's check my skills, atleast I got some of those I wished for.'
'Skills!'

'You've gotta be fucking kidding me... That bitch!' While the sheep went into another fit, a certain predator was slowly stalking forward.
'Fine, fine! I'll make you my bitch eventually! Motherfucker...' Taking a deep breath the sheep sunk into thought. Even if some abilities were locked it was still alot better than nothing.
'I guess I should find out where I am first, then a way to get stronger and start getting my harem together' The sheep getting lost in thought imagining itself on top of the world with hundreds of beauties didn't register the huge shadow creeping up behind it.
Eventually emerging from wonderland the sheep looked around a bit. Unfortunately the trees in the area were covering the top of the area, hiding the crimson sky.
'Hmm, well then!'
'Map!' The sheep shouted inwardly and an instant later a mental image of the surrounding 500m was shown, mostly being continious foliage.
'Hmm? Why is there something red behind me?' Looking back, the sheep came face to knee with a hulking creature looking at it curiously, not used to such bright colors like pink.
'...'
The creature slowly lifted it's giant right arm , the shadow covering the whole sheep in it's entirety. Seeing the sheep not move it tilted it's head slightly. Hope returned to the sheep, thoughts of possibly befriending the creature appeared for a moment before the arm descended.
'Ah-'
This isn't the guy the MC is making a contract with, just wanted to get that out there.
