Chapter 15 Kings Arrival And Everyone Shocked!!

It had been a month since the start of paper manufacturing. Until now, we had manufactured two types of papers: one with good quality, called Common Paper, which was already better than the paper present in the market, and another with extremely good quality, called Imperial Parchment. The Imperial Parchment paper required more time to be manufactured, as the process was slow and required 3 to 4 people per stack of paper. Within a month, the efficiency of the factory had increased to 1600 papers, higher than my expectancy.

The Imperial Parchment paper would be used for making official documents for the kingdom or signing treaties, and Common Paper could be used for making books or notebooks. This quality of paper would be available in the market, and also this paper would be exported to other kingdoms as we wanted the best to stay in our kingdom. The Imperial Parchment paper only had an efficiency of 400 papers a day.

Tomorrow was the day when my father, AKA the king, and some other ministers would arrive here for inspection and checking the paper quality, as in some other noble eyes, the idea that I showed them was nothing but a waste of money. Although they couldn't show that they didn't trust me, if one could see them, they would already know what they were thinking.

In the factory, everything was completely fine, and for this, I would thank Komal for her great management skills, and also because of Vinay, I didn't have to think about financial problems.

As the morning came, I woke up and did my training with my soldiers and later got ready and did my normal ritual by doing pooja [praying] to God Lord Shiva and Durga. After doing this, I waited for my father's arrival; today was the day he was arriving. I asked Komal, "Today should be the best day, and everything should be at its place as the king and several nobles would be arriving here for inspection."

Listening to this, Komal smiled and nodded, saying, "Don't worry, your majesty! Everything will be fine."

With her words in mind, I nodded and went forward. I waited there for around 35 minutes, then I could see the shadow of a group of people marching towards the factory. Within 5 minutes, the whole battalion stopped in front of the factory, and between this battalion, there was the horse, which was most guarded and obviously belonged to my father, the king. Around him were several nobles.

Seeing my father, I smiled and bowed my head, saying, "All hail king," and further asked, "How are you doing, father? I hope you didn't have any problem arriving here."

Listening to this, my father said, "There was no problem in arriving, my son, and I hope that there should not be a problem when I am leaving."

Although there was gentleness on his face, his voice was totally stunned, as expected from a king. Listening to this, I nodded and said, "There would be no problem, my king, and you would be extremely happy after seeing the results."

After the talks, the rest of the nobles who were with my father bowed towards me. In return, I also nodded to show respect towards their gesture. With all the formalities done, I took my father to the most prestigious room in the factory or in the small palace; this room is currently used by me. With my father, the rest of the nobles also entered here, and this room was the biggest room here, so everyone was able to fit in. After entering here, I presented the head of the room seat to my father, where I used to sit, as in the presence of my father, who is the king, he has the highest authority over here.

After everyone was seated, I went forward in the middle and clapped my hands, 'Clap, clap.' As I clapped, Pooja and Vinay entered the hall while holding a tray covered by a red cloth.

After seeing this, everyone was excited, and I asked Vinay to come forward. As he came forward, I took off the cloth from the tray that he was holding, and there was a stack of paper. Everyone seeing this gasped, as there was a huge amount of paper there. Currently, in this timeline, daily paper manufacturing is just 60-65 papers daily with around 40-50 workers.

Seeing this, Vinay, Pooja, and I smiled. I asked Vinay to distribute the paper among everyone, starting from the king, then the 2 elders, and then the rest of the nobles. He did the same, and everyone gasped at the quality of the paper, as this was the best quality of paper they had ever seen. There was an uproar in the room, and everyone was shouting and praising me for the paper quality.

In the midst of the jubilation, Noble 1 stepped forward, admiration shining in his eyes. "What a quality of paper! You are truly great, Prince Arjun!"

Noble 2, nodding in agreement, chimed in, "Indeed! I've never seen anything like it. This is a game-changer for our kingdom."

The sentiment was echoed by Noble 3, "Prince Arjun, your vision and leadership are commendable. This paper will undoubtedly elevate our standing."

Noble 4 added, "I can't wait for the kingdom and beyond to experience this remarkable creation. You've outdone yourself, Prince Arjun."

Noble 5, with genuine enthusiasm, exclaimed, "This is more than paper; it's a work of art! Our kingdom is fortunate to have you."

Noble 6, smiling, concluded, "Prince Arjun, you've set a new standard for excellence. I am truly impressed."

The two elders, wise and discerning, nodded in agreement. "Indeed, this achievement is remarkable," Elder 1 remarked, "It bodes well for the future of our kingdom."

Elder 2 concurred, "The innovation and dedication displayed by Prince Arjun are truly praiseworthy. This paper will leave a lasting legacy."

Even Prince Arjun's father, the king, expressed his pride, "Well done, my son. Your ingenuity and commitment to progress are a source of pride for our kingdom."

The room continued to buzz with excitement and commendations, as Prince Arjun basked in the well-deserved acclaim.

Seeing this, Pooja, Vinay, and I smiled knowingly because this was just Common Paper; they had not seen Imperial Parchment paper or the production efficiency of paper.
