Day : 1 ; When doom began

Lush green forest ...Surrounded by mountains ....where rain fell frequently but winters were not harsh enough to enable snow to fall , this is where ZERN was located ....

As for the inside of research centre : Researchers in ZERN were all busy in their work.Some were collecting data , some were observing the collider . The collider was long tube like machine used for experiments at ZERN ...It was located in special underground cell ... It was golden in color because of the alloys from which it was made ...Albeit it was several miles long but it was wound up to be only several metres ....The underground special room where (LHC was kept) was also very spacious with extra protective walls which were specially built to prevent leakage of radiations ...All staff members of ZERN especially those in special cell were required to wear special suits as a preventive measure ....ZERN conducted monthly check-ups to inspect the condition of collider ... It was arranged by the same autonomous council which headed ZERN....

It also required several findings ...

ZERN 's building had many rooms ...Underground floor was had LHC ...It was also divided into several compartments ...There was a special compartment where main experiment was conducted ...The compartment was highly secured with specially protected entrance that only allowed some researchers to enter the compartment...LHC was also internally divided into several valves ...But from the outsiders point of view it looked like continuous tube ....Since room was divided into several spacious compartments which were of several metres the LHC was inserted into the wall of those walls...Other than special underground rooms ZERN also had floors above the ground ...There was also special confined room in the first floor above the ground for special type of experiments...Usually collider was divided among several researchers who conducted several experiments in the collider simultaneously ...Several super computers were assigned to these multiple experiments ...But ever since God particle project was started ...All researchers were asked to focus on this project ...Layla was the head of research team who had also funded the research centre ...She had assigned important tasks to special researchers ; Zen who was from Southeast asia , Valeria who was from Europe , Sheila who was from some island nation in the Indian ocean and Shawn who was from middle-east ...Although all of these were from different cultures they all worked together at ZERN since the begining except Shawn who was recruited by Layla after success of his new found theory ... All other researchers were either recruited by headquarters of ZERN ...ZERN had special management team ...It was a autonomous body assigned by ministry of science and technology ...It had its own officers which usually were some retired engineers or researchers ...

After tremendous plans and experimentations ...It was finally decided when to begin the project ...

Exactly after 6 months of the approval to work on the discovery God particle ... They finally decided to smash particle and anti - particle of different types in the collider ....

That day weather was not good ...Clouds were painted grey in colour ...And trees aound the research centre swayed like swings ...Inside the research centre ...No one was aware of the winds outside ...Everyone was so focused on gathering results when suddenly disability in the collider flickered computer screens. Zen 's almond eyes were dilated as he tried to analyse the problem but soon those dilated eyes were filled with fear as he moved his eyes towards his leader and said:

" Cap what is this ? "

" If I what I think this is true then ..."

" Cap ... We are doomed ."

Layla was focused on her own computer screen when Zen called her in the centre of the room ... Layla knew Zen very well . She thought he was just overreacting like always until she moved next to Zen and saw the doom with her own eyes. Her usual confident face fell. Reality struck her like a thunder bolt when she saw it : the black hole which was about the size of electron. They had created their own black hole. She was in hysterics .She tried to calm down but nothing calmed her as the black monster began to gobble space-time around it. She had to think quickly or world would end ...Not just her career but whole damned world ! She never thought black hole could be created in the collider . She had done all calculations .She had contemplated carefully.Her thoughts were never wrong . Never! Then how did this dense little monster defied all of her speculations. As Layla was thinking about her blunders , another woman in her 30s approached her . She had raven black hair .Her black eyes were focused on the screen as she said to Layla : "We don't have time to panic let us start to mitigate the hazard ...I think we should start making that particle . " Researchers had already planned what to do if black hole was formed even though it was the least possible scenario ...

" I think it should vanish away in several days because of hawking radiation ..." , said Layla ...

SHEILA : " And what if it didn't ? " ...

Layla realised what Sheila meant ...She meant that we should prepare for worst possible scenario ...

LAYLA: I understand what you mean ...And no one has to worry about the after effects of hawking radiation as the black having such low energy won't be able to create effective explosion ...

Hence everyone was ordered to prepare artificial annihilation of black hole in case it would not disappear via hawking radiation ...

Black hole : It is a heavily dense body which gobbles up space -time. It usually occurs after the death of star ...

LHC : Large hadron collider ....It is a device used to discover new particles that create atoms ....

Electron: It is one of the particles which form atom ...

Hawking radiation : It is a process which results in the annihilation of black hole ...It can take several billion years for black hole to perish depending upon its size ...It occurs due to reduction of energy ...

God particle : It is a particle in the atom whose field supposedly gives particles its mass ...Although it was recently discovered that the field gives very little mass to the particle ...While most of the mass because of some energy of the particle comes from energy...
