Chapter 4 Candle,Clock,And,some troubles

Evan went to guide the arrowmakers to the gathered obsidians.

He divided his human staff into four accordingly.

He put everyone through a test and placed them in the field where they were the best.

He then realized that he needed a watch. He could use the candle clock. He learned from Sarah that each candle was 12 inches long and cut into 12 equal parts. Each represents 4 hours and each mark 20 minutes, but first he had to find out if there was any wax here. He took a clay pot and boiled water, then threw the material in and collected the wax that came to the surface. He made candles using wood fiber, clay molds and beeswax. He marked the candle appropriately and signaled his men to make arrows. The first batch lasted 2.5 hours. As a kind of competitive environment formed and people got used to the job, it took up to 1.6 hours. Each batch consisted of 4 arrows and most of them were standard, making it easier for hunters to use. With this system, 200 arrows were produced in 1 week and delivered to the hunters, so that the hunters could fill their fur quota. Evan was thinking about what he should do during this time, he was in a very backward society and he had to do something, but how can you improve in a society without metal?
