after resting for a bit Joseph heads out to the centre training grounds

when Joseph was in the pokemon centre he received the the Electrizer for Electabuzz now he gave Electrizer to Electabuzz and the moon stone to nidorino after getting their items Joseph backs up and then both pokemon started to glow in a blue aura and both started to grow in size and out of the glow came two really tall pokemon Electivire and nidoking both pokemon can feel that they have become stronger Joseph congratulates them on their new forms both pokemon hug him as thanks after that Joseph heads to route 6 Joseph sees a lake and a wild frokie

author how is a froakie in kanto i don't care i love greninja but mine won't be ash greninja or anything but it will be a shiny greninja though anyway back to the story

Joseph not knowing or caring for the fact that a froakie is in kanto instead of kalos he uses red to battle it even though red is at a type disadvantage Joseph and Electivire trained it to learn thunder punch

one thunder punch one shots it Joseph caches it and leaves red outside of the poke ball to battle the wild pokemon after arriving at vermilion city Joseph heads to the pokemon centre to get his pokemon checked out and to take a bath after he heads to the gym to challenge Surge as he enters he sees Surge and challenges him to a gym battle

this will be a battle between gym leader LT.Surge and challenger Joseph only the challenger is allowed to switch pokemon are you both trainer's ready both nod go
