Chapter 10- the first goodbye
They go down the hill together with a little Awkwardness because of what happen, they say goodbye with each other awkwardly, and when they get home its almost night already, in front of dinner cyran is quiet which is pretty not him so his parents ask him what's wrong....
Parents - "hey"
Cyran-*ignore
Parents - "CYRAN (with loud voice)
Cyran-" yeah? Um it's fun why? "
Parents - *laughing
Parents -" what's wrong with you that's unusual of you, you always talk while theres food in your mouth"
Cyran - "nothing it's just i never thought it's good to have someone you will be close with like a best friend"
Parents - "hmmm (suspicious) ok its good that you two are now best friend but let me warn you no more than that"
Cyran-"of course" (awkward laughing)
A 2 days left for shawn there and tomorrow is his last day at tomorrow night shawn will be leaving...
While starring at starry night,
Shawn - "hey umm ill be leaving tomorrow night"
Cyran - "ah ok it's so fast"
Shawn-"i think it's a long stay here but its just we're always arguing before when we meet" 😹
Cyran-" HA HA(awkward laugh) so when you going back here?"
Shawn-"i don't know, maybe when i got time again?"
Cyran-"oh ok"
And they laughed awkwardly together
After that, they go home and in that night cyran is feeling something strange in his heart but he ignore it, in the morning he wake up early to prepare some side dishes and sliced fruits for free to give to customers in the morning because he want to be on shawn leave in airport he don't know why but he just become like that when shawn came to his life....
Cyran - "ok all finished I'll be leaving now"
Mom-"and where you think your going? "
Cyran-" i..i..i just go round the island with shawn im still not shown him the whole island tho"
Mom-"and who's gonna send this foods and fruits to restaurant?"
Cyran - "umm dad? He's the one who usually do that"
Mom-"your dad already go to restaurant because there's lot has to clean, as those leaf keeps falling off the tree it's going downhill"
Cyran-"argh that tree" (whispered)
Mom-"what?"
Cyran-"nothing fine, I'll send it there"
Mom-"and also help your dad to clean the restaurant so it will be finished faster"
Cyran-" what? Seriously?"
Mom-"YES" (suspicious)
Cyran go to the restaurant to bring the deliveries and help to clean...
Cyran-"WHAT THE, dad your not even finished cleaning half of the restaurant? Seriously?"
Dad-"what's wrong why does it seem you are hot headed now?"
Cyran - *sigh" haist nothing, I'll help clean mom said"
Dad-"ok go to that side"
Cyran clean faster so he could go to shawn already but as soom as they finished a lot of customer has suddenly came some are group of families and friends that's just arrived last night from the island....
Cyran-"oh no"
After those it took until almost night cyran changed his clothes faster and go there it took him half an hour so when he arrived its already night he's calling shawn but no ones answering...
Cyran - "shawn, shawn, shawnnnn"
He was worried shawn already gone...
Cyran-"he must be gone by now 😞"
When he's about to go, Shawn pop up...
Cyran- "shawn?"
Shawn - "cyran what are you doing here?"
Cyran - "i just wanna come with you at the shore and say goodbye" (sad)
Shawn-"so you want to send me there? Or your just making sure I'll be going out the island already ahhahaha"
Cyran - "no i wasn't"
Shawn - "I was just kidding you might get angry, ahaha so lets go I'll be late if we stand here for too long"
Cyran-"ok"
They go to shore but cyran forgot to tell his parents that he will be going home late...
Shawn-"so this a goodbye now"
Cyran - "your going back right?"
Shawn-" um when i got time"
Shawn-"so how am i gonna contact you do you have a phone or a social media?"
Cyran-"i don't use those kind of things but my mom does have"
Shawn-"your house is far in here, it's a waste of time to go there and take it"
Cyran-"aw so goodbye now go inside the ship already your almost late" 👋
Shawn-"goodbye i promise I'll come back"
Cyran - *just smiling 😊
