The next day,

Yang Zhai opened his eyes and looked around. What he saw was an empty wooden room. He looked around and examined. He had just woken up from his sleep. Yang Zhai knew about all these things. He knew that he would pass the test as long as he had the emblem with him: therefore, he was not worried about not passing the test at all.

"Sigh, you are still asking about them, even after what happened to you. You have a nice heart. We could not save them, their bodies were also burned in the fire. But, this is the rule of this world, if you're not strong enough, then you will be hunted by this world. You should get used to it and should not think about them anymore: otherwise, you will have to endure more pain than this." Ju Jingyi tried to cheer up Yang Zhai.

If he knew that it was Yang Zhai himself who killed his teammates, then Ju Jingyi would surely spurt out a mouthful of blood.

"I should have saved them, but I ran away. I tried to save them; however, I was weak and could not protect them. I had no choice but to run to call for help if I wanted to save them. I wish I had not run." Yang Zhai greeted his teeth and clenched his fists.

"Thanks, brother." Yang Zhai thanked Ju Jingyi.
