Lexia had been dragged to her room after her encounter with William. She was half-conscious and in pain. Celine her maid rushed in and gasped when her eyes landed on Lexia.
hurriedly she attended to her wounds with tears in her eyes," How could he do this to you ?" she cried.
" Am fine, Celine. Did they hurt you "weakly Lexia looked up at her maid.
" No mistress, am good. But you're not ...look at you "she cried but then suddenly frowned turning to the stern bodyguards, "Get us a doctor now she's bleeding "
Lexia moved her eyes down to see her legs stained with blood. the warm liquid flowed down her thighs staining her yellow dress.
"No...no...no...Celine my baby " cried Lexia. " please help me I cant lose him too " she cried.
Celine got up grabbing one of the guards;" get us a doctor right now . Or I promise your boss won't spare you when he finds out she lost his child cause of your stupidity" yelled Celine.
The guards moved and Celine moved back to the struggling Lexia.
"Dont worry mistress, the baby will be fine. Just calm down and let me help you "

Lexia breathed remembering how it all had happened.
she had fainted from all the pain and blood loss.
"My baby " she gasped.
"It's okay, the doctor got here on time and Celine is fine " answered William ." but I have never touched you...so..is it his ?" he let out.
she knew what he met by the question, and after months of trying to hide it, she knew it will eventually come out. It was the main reason she had tried to escape, but now that he knew there was no escape.
"Yes, it is his " she breathed..." and the only thing that has been keeping me alive since you locked me up "
William turned away hiding his hurt, "Eat something and get ready the doctor will return to check on you " he said walking to the door.
" Why are you suddenly kind to me, is it because of the baby? It's not even yours ...you killed its father yourself, so why are you acting this way towards me?" she cried.
William stopped," Because I love you "The moment the words left his mouth Lexia burst into tears.
"You what....she chuckled through her tears. You....." can't be serious. Cause if you did then you wouldn't have treated me this way"
William walked out closing the door, he could hear Lexia still crying. The waiting Celine looked watched him walk up to her," take care of her, make sure she gets everything she needs "he said to her.
"Yes. boss" responded Celine and rushed inside the room.

"Mistress.." she called Lexia looked up to see her maid run to her.
"Celine..." she cried opening her arms. they hugged ." are you okay, did he hurt you ?" she asked.
"Am fine, come get back in bed, the doctor said you need to rest " she said leading her back to her bed, after which she helped fed her.
Lexi glanced at Celine who frowned," am sorry I told him . It was the only way to get you a doctor and the baby was in danger " said the maid.
"I know and thanks for saving my baby .but now that he knows his acting weird and it's scaring me" she let out.
"last night after I told him, the boss looked so sad for the first time I have known him and called all the best doctors for consultation. After your check-up and you were sound asleep I left and saw him come in" she said.
"I know I woke up with him next to me. Why did you let him in my room" she frowned.
Celine chuckled, "Are you forgetting he owns this place ....and the boss has been coming into your every night, it wasn't his first time to come in here.....maybe his first to be caught by you "She smiled.
Lexia gaped, "What do you mean every night? When did it start?"
