Chapter 3

"I'm back mom..." Cassandra said as she walked into the house.

"How was school today?" Amelia asked.

"Huh... That school is something else... Anyways I got a friend today. She is nice and smart" Cassandra replied.

"Wow, that's great. And what's her name?" Amelia asked.

"Gabriella." Cassandra replied.

"Oh... I see... Go in and change mommy prepared something for you " Amelia said pinching Cassandra's cheek.

"Liam, we have a new student in our class... She is nice and I like her" Gabriella told her brother as they hopped out of their car.

"Oh..." Was all Liam replied.

"Gosh Liam, why are you always so boring?.... You should have at least ask of her name...." Gabriella said looking annoyed.

"Well... I'm not interested in such things" Liam replied smiling and patting his sister's head.

Gabriella pouted her lips and left.

"If only you know Gabriella I know her name already, and I think I should avoid that girl... Although I think she's cute". Liam said smiling.

Cassandra sat by her study table in her room trying to study. But all of a sudden, she remembered what happened at school during the day. "So You don't want to know my name?" She remembered those words, but why can't she recall his name? "Gosh... Cassandra, how can you forget about his name... He helped you for crying out loud "she said as she kept trying again and again to recall the name but she kept failing. "huh, why do you even care to recall his name? He is only a stranger that helped you" she said then jumped on her bed, played music and drifted into the slee world.

It's two weeks already and Cassandra did not see him again... Could it be that she was right about him being an angel or a wizard? She wish he would appear out of nowhere again. Cassandra stood at the school's passage hoping to see that stranger again when she saw Kenneth approaching 'Next time you have to be careful, if possible, avoid where Kenneth is because he is more dangerous than you think' she remembered what he told her and immediately, she ran to th rest room and locked the door. "He won't come here right? He can't be that crazy" she said as she leaned against The door. Cassandra has always avoid Kenneth after what happened on the first day. Cassandra decided to stay there for a while giving him time to go far away from where she is but then someone knocked the door causing her to panic.

"Who's there? I need to come in an clean myself up please " she heard a girl's voice. Sighing in relief she opened the door.

"Oh... Its you" Cassandra said as Gabriella stepped in.

"Yeah... Why did you you lock up yourself in here?" Gabriella asked

"Trying to avoid Kenneth " Cassandra said.

"Well, his not close by" Gabriella said while washing her hands.

"Oh yeah... There's a music concert on Saturday at the school's hall, I don't know if you would like to attend" Gabriella said.

"I will love to attend... I love music. What time is it? " Cassandra asked happily.

"4:00pm" Gabriella replied.

"Alright, I will give you a call when I'm coming".

"Where's your phone? " Gabriella asked

"At home... Of cause you don't expect me to bring it to school." Cassandra replied.

"Why not? Phones are not prohibited." Gabriella replied.

"Oh wow... Never knew" Cassandra said looking surprised.

"Oh yeah... I've got something for you." Gabriella said smiling.

"What's that? " Cassandra asked.

"A best friend chain... You are my best friend" Gabriella said giving Cassandra a wrist chain.

"Wow... Thank you" Cassandra said putting it on.

"My pleasure..." Gabriella replied happily.

"Bestie? "Cassandra said stretching out her hand.

"Bestie" Gabriella replied shaking Cassandra's hand.

"Let's go to class" Gabriella said and they both went to the class.
