After driving the car far from the mansion, Ivan looked relieved. 

"Why did you get scared before?" 

He hears Augustus's sudden question and gets baffled.

"Hun? What?"

"You got afraid when you saw the owl on the tree"

Ivan felt a bit hesitant as the former pinned on that topic again. 

"I wasn't scared of anything," Ivan said while driving the car.

"Lie" Augustus gazed at him. 

"Why would I lie?" Ivan glanced at the former during the drive.

"I can see you are hiding something from me"

"Oh god, stop reading my mind" Hearing Ivan's words he let out a chuckle. 

"I am not reading your mind. Come on, your precious lover has restrained me from doing it so" Augustus talked about it in a disinterested way. 

"My precious lover is also your best friend!"

Augustus chuckled. "Best friend? Does he think like that for me?"
