Ivan screamed after seeing the car coming at him with speed but a sudden pull dragged him to the other end of the road in a blink of an eye. He gasped looking at Augustus holding his arm after saving him. It happened in a fast reflex that it went hard for Ivan to catch his breath.
Augustus looked on the verge of scolding Ivan but when he saw tears in those human's eyes he held everything back.
Ivan stood there at the same place where he spotted Kai with another girl. His eyes stared at the way where the car went, still in disbelief of what he saw while being unaware of the thick pearls rolling down until they brushed off with a soft touch and he turned back.
"Kai- I saw him with her...them together...kiss"
