A Life That's Fake

He saw that shy appearance of hers as she walked out slowly, her beautiful wet lips parted slightly as she complained feeling embarrassed, “It isn’t coming well. Don’t you have any other trouser or maybe something to tie it?”. Roff who didn’t realize how his eyes were stuck at her, couldn’t really hear her words, he was just watching and observing each and every move of her that constantly made him breathless. Leigh found his stare uncomfortable and tightened her clutch, “Excuse me? Hey? Sigh… Mr. Gordon, I am asking if you have another pair of pants?” she scowled, her tone higher than before. Roff got yanked back from his imagination and averted his gaze while feeling embarrassed, “My clothes are of my size, so naturally I have no other pair for you and I have belt…” he hesitated for a moment, his cheeks reddened when he thought about the word ‘belt’. He couldn’t help but imagine the drama he once saw where the male lead tied the female lead hands with a belt. He started to rub his hair, putting the dryer down, keeping his eyes away from her wet hair that made him thirsty, he got up, “I have nothing more for you, be grateful for what I am already giving. Anyway, I have told my men, they will bring your things here by tomorrow morning for you since from now on you will be staying with me”. Leigh frown deepened, she let the trouser fall on the ground. The shirt was already so big, she never saw the reason to wear it, but because she was given that trouser so she simply wore it. The guy in front of her had his eyes popping out in shock and mouth wide open, he was blinking madly as if wondering what was going on in front of him and he swallowed. The girl remained unfazed even after walking closer to the man whose upper half was naked, leaving his chiseled muscles and sexy packs to be seen by her. “I am telling you again… I have really thick skin so if you are thinking of torturing me by yourself than forget it, that won’t work. This whole thing will only be in my advantage and nothing more. You still have a chance, better you hand me over to the police”. It took her a lot more guts than she thought. Her heart was beating louder since she was going against him and her words might really put her behind bars but the thought that she has to live with a person who was going to give her a hell of a life was bad enough to go this far. Roff put on a smirk on his face and his eyes which was avoiding her till now looked back into her eyes properly, he raised his arm and took a lock of her hair, “I feel that handing you over to those police will be a wrong thing. They will ask you questions and may torture you a bit but, in the end, they will let you live with other criminals”. “I don’t want your life to be as easier as the criminals of this country, so I, Roff Gordon, will especially take care of you and I think you still might be useful. Anyway, if you try to escape or hurt me like how you did at the campus, things will not be any good for you”. Leigh swallowed, she looked down while wondering what he would do if she tried to escape or something else. Her brows were creased and she slightly peaked at his neck that she has bitten. Her marks were there though it wasn’t bleeding anymore but it looked painful. “Do you want to know how I will punish you?” he asked, his smitten eyes were staring at her pretty lips and her white neck that was quite empty. Leigh raised her eyes in shock, “What?” “Yeah, I should give you a trailer first so that you would not make any such future mistake”. Leigh tried to back off feeling pressurized as his hands grabbed her chin and shoulder, and his mouth moved closer to her neck but that was quite an unavoidable circumstance because of his tight grip. And he bit her soft neck.

A name never used

As if the world was coming to an end, Iam Filin gave a disconcerted expression. She looked in the eyes of Lily with her questionable eyes but only saw confusion.

"Wh-what did you say?" though she heard it quite clear but she had no wish to accept those words so she gave an angry look trying to scare Leigh out of her wits and make her back off.

"I said I will do it. As a mother you should be happy that your daughter is trying to help you," she smiled but it appeared more like a mockery that enraged Iam to the point that she directly raised her arm to slap Leigh.

The girl dodged it as if it was nothing and stood keeping her cool, "Layla has got your habit, mother. Better you teach her to not slap others as she did to me or else it will only ruin your reputation. Am I saying, correct?" the smile stayed on her face.

Seeing that grin was rapidly increasing Mrs. Filin blood pressure. Her brows were completely creased showing her wrinkles that she tried hard to hid with her makeup.

"Have you lost your mind after forgetting everything?"

"Does it look like that? I feel bad since you said that but anyways, sister, make sure to welcome me in the company with a nice smile, I really want to see it on your face," she ignored her screaming mother and glanced at Lily who was completely lost after seeing Leigh act like a completely different person.

"Ha?" being yanked back suddenly, she threw a look at her fuming mother and swallowed, "But you… are majoring in painting and have never done business before. I don't think it will be easy for you".

"No, it's ok. Because my first year got completely ruined and my hands tremble whenever I grab a pencil or a brush, grandma asked me to change my major since I will be taking admission as a fresher again".

As told by grandma she already had her excuses prepared but she didn't knew that it will be so quick before she will be bringing those lies here.

Though Lily pitifully gazed at Leigh's hand, Leigh eyes were completely occupied by her mother irritated look.

She was waiting for her mother to speak and it happened, "You think you can join as you wish. Dream on, we have already got plenty of freshers a few months before, we don't need any more and even more when that person is such an idiot".

"So, that's what Iam said, right?" the old lady while putting the ointment on Leigh face sighed after hearing everything that happened there.

Leigh was still in her formal dress, sitting on the wooden ground inside the hall room.

She nodded silently; her mind was off somewhere since she was still quite excited after what she did before.

Honestly, after all those cool acting she did for the first time as Leigh, she felt very nice because till now, she didn't like the fact that everyone was looking down at her whom they considered as Leigh. She felt bad and angry for Leigh so doing this was really soothing to her heart.

"What a weird child, you don't even wince while I put this bitter ointment on your face".

'Child not a terrorist?' Leigh was quite surprised by the grandmother tone which was a lot kinder than a few days ago.

'Is it because of the injury. I remember seeing a colleague of mine being unusually kinder to her children because they were hurt but… I am not even related to her!' she sneakily glanced at the old lady who was busy putting the ointment as softly and slowly she could.

"Why won't you say anything?" as the old lady eyes suddenly met hers, she asked with a frown.

Leigh jolted, she was sneaking a glance but got caught badly, she swallowed and replied, "Yes," because she had no idea what to say anymore.

The old lady sighed in distress when she suddenly realized, "Come to think of it, I never asked your name. Either I called you 'Hey' or 'Hoy'".

"That's ok, you can keep calling me like that, it's not a matter at all".

Pissed over the child who didn't understand her task, the grandma really wanted to pinch her but seeing her injury, she let it slide for the time, "Foolish! I was asking for your name and not your confirmation to call you 'Hey'…"

Leigh replied in silence. Before grandma, the only one to ask her name was Ryan and Roff but she didn't tell them since from her point of view her name was nothing important and she was not really used to be called by it.

The old lady was finished with her ointment putting job but she was waiting impatiently to hear from Leigh though it appeared that she won't be getting any response at all from a girl who was frozen completely.

She again sighed, "Are you still working for those terrorists that you can't disclose your name?" grandma scolded her and after getting no response she was finally about to give up with a pout when Leigh responded.

"Tia," she looked with her pure eyes. For grandma surprise, those eyes with no light were filled with enthusiasm even if it was a little. She no longer looked an empty-headed girl, she rather looked like a human with emotions.

"But… I am not really used to this name since no one has ever called me with it," hesitantly the girl while scratching her fingers said but as she saw grandma scowling, she soon swallowed in confusion.
