Chapter 88 - Discussions

***** Bonus Chapter ***** A/N: So I used to read a lot of manga back in the day. Veritas, Original Naruto, Bleach, was up to date on like 30 + mangas at one point. Now though, I can't get into any. Literally just read one piece now because I've been up to date on it now for like 20 years. Anyone have any actual good mangas? *****

"Hello Papa!" Fleur greeted her father, hugging him embarrassed, and kissing him on both cheeks.

"Fleur! Good to see you! Come inside, come inside, quickly! Both your mom and sister are eager to see you!" He embraced her, picking her up in his arms, and twirling her a bit, before setting her down lovingly patting her head.

He truly missed his little girl.

* A/N: Imagine They're all speaking French - I didn't want to have to translate everything to English afterwards LOL *

Fleur blushed as she was let down, embarrassed at how her father still treated her after all these years.

Although she loved her Papa, her still treated her like a little kid. She was a woman now for goodness sake! Not only that, but she was now Khan's woman, especially with him claiming her rather aggressively at night for the past month.

She released her father, blushing in embarrassment now at her rather erotic thoughts of her husband taking her, instead of her previous embarrassment at her fathers treatment of her, before shaking them out of her head, and moving through the now open door, and into the room that her family was currently staying in.

"Fleur!" A tiny blonde blur by the name of Gabrielle shrieked in excitement, before jumping onto her dearly missed sister. "I missed you so much!"

To the eight year old Gabrielle, the 5 months spent apart from her sister, to her felt like forever.

Growing up with such an age gap, and having not yet attended school, and made her own friends, Gabrielle often looked up to Fleur, treating her as a best friend, and looking up to her as a personal idol.

To her, Fleur was her hero; smart, beautiful, caring, and now even a powerful Triwizard Champion, Gabrielle wanted to grow up to be just like her older sister!

"Gabby! I missed you too!" Similar to how her father had just treated her, Fleur swung her around koala-bear-like sister, who was currently clinging to her neck, laughing cutely.

"And what has my little sister been up to the past few months?" Fleur finally placed Gabrielle down after a few moments of sisterly bonding.

"Well..." Gabby proceeded to talk Fleur's ear off so to speak, telling her in excruciating detail about every little thing that she had been doing the past 5 months.

"And then, Jean-Luc started training me early! We even started going over reflex training already! And then, I wen-"

"Gabby dear, why don't you give your sister a chance to take off her things and get comfortable first. You can tell Fleur about your time apart over the next few months since we will be staying here."

(Un)luckily for Fleur, she was saved by her mother.

"And besides, I'm sure Fleur also has a lot to catch us up on as well.... We DO have a lot to catch up on, don't we Fleur?"

Looking over to her, Fleur saw Apolline Delacour smirking at her. Combine that with the words she just said now, and it appeared as if she already knew everything that happened between herself and Jordan.

She quickly took off her heavy cloak, turning away to avoid eye contact with her smirking mother, before taking a seat on the couch by the fire.

"Maman..." Fleur blushingly greeted her mother with a bit of a whine, accompanied with small smile on her face, embarrassed at possibly already being found out.

Being a part Veela herself, her Mother Apolline had always emphasized acting and dressing rather modestly while Fleur was growing up, so as to not draw any more unwanted attention than necessary.

It also went without saying obviously, that her mother also emphasized saving her virtue for her future husband; Veelas were already thought of as purely sexual creatures, good for only one thing, and often treated no better than prostitutes.

As a result, Her mother had emphasized growing up, that she had to pay extra attention, and stay as far away from acting like a slut or harlot as possible. The last thing that they should be doing as part-Veelas was reinforcing that terrible stereotype, sleeping around, and attracting the gaze of every male wizard.

And Fleur had listened to her mother, as best she could growing up. She worked on actively controlling her allure, and stayed away from any sort of relationship.

Though after meeting her husband, Fleur was realizing that the reason she used to stay away from relationships was because she was simply uninterested in any of those foolish French boys that previously tried courting her in the past.

"What Fleur? Are you saying you don't have a lot to tell your father and myself? Nothing about this boy that you wrote to me about recently, asking for..... 'tips'?" Apolline followed up with a vicious smile, causing Fleur to grow even redder in embarrassment.

Although it was true that she had written to her Mother previously for some tips on how to please Jordan, she was more thinking about how to finally defeat him in bed, rather than thinking about how a letter like that might appear to her rather strict mother....

What the hell was she thinking at the time?!?

Fleur sat there squirming on the couch, her sister sitting by her side, as her father joined her mother, her two parents coming around to sit down in front of the two sisters, on their own upright chairs.

"So its true then? You are actually seeing this Jordan Khan, my little Flower?" Her Father, Louis Delacour asked, slightly concerned.

"... Yes, we are seeing each other." Fleur responded a little confused. "But shouldn't you guys already know that? Didn't he send you a request to court me on Christmas?"

Her parents made eye contact, exchanging thoughts without speaking. Fleur had often seen them communicate like this growing up when she was a child; it was as if they were telepathic, seemingly able to talk and tell each other things, with but a look.

Her father continued a few moments later, surprising both Fleur and her sister!

"Lord Khan did send me a request, and I did give him permission.... but it's not like this is the first request I have been sent, nor is it the first I have accepted." Louis revealed.

"It's not? I thought you accepted because he displayed his seriousness when he sent his Phoenix on Christmas to fetch presents for me..." Fleur figured that Jordan had impressed her parents with his sincerity, and that was why he had been allowed to court her.

"I thought that was a service done for Triwizard champions..... Is that not Dumbledore's Phoenix who received our presents for you?"

"What? No! That's Jordan's Phoenix, Sol!" Fleur was shocked! Evidently her father did not even realize that the entire touching gesture was solely due to her husband.

"Ah well anyways... truthfully, I have received numerous requests regarding courting both yourself, and even young Gabby over the years."

"Ever since you were publicly introduced at your 'Debut' in fact, I have given permission for numerous heirs to court you, with the only stipulation being that you are able to pick and choose whether you liked the boy or not. They could not coerce you magically or otherwise, and the decision to pursue a relationship, would be ultimately left up to you."

Fleur was even more stunned! She had no idea that her father had given permission for that many people to court her! She thought it was only Jordan! Why would he do that?

"Unfortunately, we could not outright reject all of them, for fear of alienating many of the other politically powerful French magical families." Louis continued. "However, we did our very best to protect you both!"

"We could tell that All of the requests we had received for both you and Gabby were all for their own family benefit, rather than their heir truly liking/loving you. As such, with the way that the two of us have raised you, we believed that you would never truly come to like any of the boys that were granted permission to court you."

"And it looked like we were right- our plan had been working perfectly. As you continued through school, we did not hear once, of any news that any of your prior suitors having been successful. You excelled in your subjects, even going so far as to become the Beauxbatons Triwizard Champion, and never once spoke about, or took a personal interest in dating." He spoke proudly about her accomplishments, with a smile on his face.

"So you can imagine my surprise, when your mother notified me of a letter you had sent her, in which you implied in not so many words, that you were not only taking an interest in romance, but were actually also becoming more serious with a boy."

"Papa...."

Fleur was touched that her parents appeared to have put that much thought into her upbringing.

She knew that simply due to her Father's political position, it was difficult for him to reject certain requests, due to being under such intense public scrutiny all the time.

To learn that he had indeed given permission for numerous people to court her had been surprising, yes, but at the same time, Fleur could tell that he really did his best to also protect her through those 'stipulations'.

She had to admit, she really did love her parents. They made her feel loved and protected.

But so did Jordan.

"Papa, Maman." Fleur took a few deep breaths to try to steady her nerves. "Jor- Lord Khan and I have been seeing each other for a few months now. And although it's only been a short time..."

Fleur and her family had been speaking in French right up to that moment. However, Fleur spoke the next set of words, in her newly changed, Perfect English accent.

<"I already know that He is the one for me. I love him.">

While Gabby was a bit confused at what Fleur had just said, Louis and Apolline were shocked hearing Fleur speak, both of them of course understanding English.

"Are you sure dear? It's has been rather fast after all. You have barely known each other for a quarter of the year and ....." Louis began to question/lecture Fleur.

He was concerned about her after all! She had been perfectly happy not dating anyone in France, yet the moment she leaves home for England, she somehow finds someone that she not only wants to date, but eventually marry!?

Could it be that this time away from home had somehow corrupted his little girl?

However, while Louis was rather shocked at the meaning behind Fleur's words, Apolline was shocked for a different reason.

Previously, Fleur possessed a strong French accent, similar to themselves, when speaking English. And with Beauxbatons heading to Hogwarts at the End of October, it had only been a few short months that she had been in England. As such, It was simply not possible for Fleur to naturally lose her accent that quickly!

Not without magic that is.

And that was specifically why Apolline was so shocked. Being a part Veela herself, she knew that their inherent Veela magic was focused around seduction and lust, with their 'Allure' being the most famous of their magic.

In fact, most of the time, their Allure, being passive, was all the Veela magic they typically tended to have to use, in order for them to attract a suitable mate.

That was all she had to use to subdue and attract Louis after all, and he was the love of her life! Just her Allure alone!

So for Fleur's Veela magic to actually react, and not just simply increase her allure (as was typical), but also actively change her accent to help her alongside her allure, was needless to say, completely surprising!

Just to help her in attracting this boy as a mate!

Wait..... this meant that Fleur was right just now!

She really had found the one for her! Even her Veela magic agreed with her!

"-an you be sure that he is even serious about you? I was a young boy once, and I can tell you that they are all pi-"

"Louis! That's enough! Let us meet the young man before making any more assumptions." She cut off her rambling worried husband, accompanied with a sharp look, before turning back to Fleur.

"Speaking of which.... Why don't you go fetch him dear! I am rather eager to meet this young man of yours now!"

"Maman?" Fleur looked towards her mom, slightly begging her with her eyes.

Her father's reaction had been expected. She had never even remotely shown any interest in romance before, so naturally she had been anticipating a lecture when telling her parents about Jordan for the first time.

But that was ok with her. That was her plan.... They would lecture her about not taking school/the triwizard tournament seriously, and thus give her a bit more time to tell her husband about everything! Naturally, Fleur assumed that they would not want to meet him, if they were upset with her, not wanting to give a poor image to the Noble Khan family, of their family.

So Why wasn't her mother lecturing her too? Was she truly wanting to meet him now!?

Its not that she didn't want Jordan to meet her Parents. On the contrary, she was eager for him to meet them. It was more that Fleur knew that she really shouldn't have procrastinated when it came to telling Khan about her parents visiting her.

Her husband definitely would not be happy to learn about having to meet her parents on such short notice!

But she couldn't help it!

She was exceedingly nervous for her most important person to meet her family! What if they didn't like him?! Would she have to choose between her family, and her beloved?

This could not happen! She needed more time to talk to him, warn him and prepare him a bit more!

Looking towards her mother still, she gave her best imitation of 'Puppy-eyes', begging her silently to give her more time.

"Oh Don't give me that look Fleur! I know that Louis over here would also love the chance to get to know the young man, wouldn't you dear?"

"Papa?"

"I'm looking forward to it."

'.... Merde.....'

"I... was wondering if you knew anything about Blood Curses, Professor?" Daphne finally asked a bit nervously, absentmindedly biting her lower lip, breaking her 'snow queen' façade she usually kept on her face.

Although she had tried her best to influence her Professor and get him indebted to her, she still felt nervous about asking for his help.

For Many pureblooded families, if they knew of the curse their family faced, would try to take advantage of their situation after all. And while truthfully she would've preferred to take her time, doing more personal favors for her Professor, Daphne felt she was running out of time to help her sister, and thus was rushed into asking for his help.

"I was wondering when you might ask me about curses, Ms Greengrass." Khan replied with a smile on his face. "Especially after Lenny here informed me of your constant visits to my shop!"

"Yes, I heard about this being your shop from Granger..." She replied embarrassed. "I- uh- simply did not want to bother you if it was something that I could've solved on my own."

"It's quite alright Greengrass. I always have time to help my students!" Khan replied comfortingly.

Lucky for Daphne, Jordan had no qualms helping people.

No matter what he had going on in his life, he would always make time for his friends. Even the previous era, when he was increasingly busy with his various personal quests involving the Goblin Rebellion and Ranrok, he still make time to help his various classmates and friends with their various tasks, no matter how random or ridiculous.

He even remembered doing one particular task for his housemate Samantha Dale, involving returning a crest to her family tomb….. it was supposed to help her brother, whose feet had been cursed to turn into beets of all things, strangely enough.

This caring nature of Khan's only naturally carried over to his students now; no matter what he currently had going on, even with himself being so busy, he would do his upmost to help Daphne!

And Although he was simply a Jr. Prof. Not even teaching classes for a full year, Jordan had truly begun to think of every person under him as his precious students.

"Now why don't you tell me in detail about this 'blood curse'."

2800+ words.... kinda surprised tbh it ended up this long
