Chapter 9
"Is it finally daytime? Huh, I just took a nap and-"
Adan immediately cut off what he was going to say next as he looked at Yun Seora who he was apparently hugging. He then thought, 'Did she willingly come to me, or was I the one to unknowingly hug her in my sleep? I know that I could be a little clingy in my sleep but I never expected it to be like this!'
Adan started to look around for anyone other than Yun Seora and him and found Hyun Sangmin near the teacher's table eating some ramen. The first thing he actually said to the eating man was, "Oi! Where'd you find hot water?!"
Hyun Sangmin immediately started choking on the noodles the second he heard Adan scream at him and it took him a couple of seconds to recover from it. He then turned towards Adan and gave him a glare and shouted back, "Oi! Why the hell did you shout!? You startled me!"
Adan shook his head and replied, "Never mind that. Just tell me where you found the hot water?"
Hyun Sangmin scratched his head a little and said, "In the convenience store, why?"
Adan's eyes widened a little at that and subconsciously said, "I thought that I took all the thermos away? Was there one that I didn't find?"
Hearing what Adan said, Hyun Sangmin pointed his free hand at him and shouted, "AHH!!! So you're the cause of my stress!! Damn it, dude! Do you know how much time it took me to find a thermos!? 2 hours! 2 fucking hours! And-"
Hyun Sangmin's ranting was immediately cut off when he and Adan heard Yun Seora groan while moving around on top of Adan's chest who was laying on three desks combined together.
Hyun Sangmin started sweating when he saw Adan glare at him and immediately thought, 'What the fuck man? Why are you so defensive over a girl you just met yesterday!? I know she's cute and all but I thought we were close!'
Hyun Sangmin just sighed in resignation and said, "You know, the others are already in the 6th floor waiting for you two to wake up. It's already 11:50 AM and-"
Adan looked quite shocked at what Hyun Sangmin said and whispered-shouted, "I slept for around 12 hours!?"
Hyun Sangmin sweatdropped and nodded while thinking, 'Can't a man finish any of his sentences? Why'd you have to cut off all of my lines?'
Adan contemplated what he was going to do next and decided to just wing it and not plan anything. He then swiftly moved Yun Seora towards his back and piggy-backed her.
Adan walked towards the already nervous Hyun Sangmin and said, "What are you standing there like an idiot for? Come on, we got to go to the 6th floor. Everyone's already waiting, aren't they?"
Hyun Sangmin nodded his head and walked ahead of Adan as he 'guided' him. Adan looked at Hyun Sangmin in amusement as he thought, 'Heh, do you think you and Seol Jihu are off the hook from what you did to me? Guilt-tripping me through the use of children eh? Just you guys wait. I'll thoroughly prank you idiots in the Neutral Zone.'
After a couple of minutes of walking, the trio finally arrived in front of 10 people. 8 of those people were the survivors while the other 2 were the guides.
Adan and Hyun Sangmin looked at them in surprise as Adan asked, "Eh? Aren't you guys a little early?"
Han's right eye twitched as he replied, "Aren't you a bit too abnormal for a regular person? Aren't you a little too lucky to get 13 Potions of Revival? And on that note, that would be a little useless if they don't meet all 3 conditions."
Adan's eyes widened in panic as he balanced the sleeping Yun Seora on one hand while searching through his bag on the other. He then found one Potion of Revival and read through all the conditions.
Seeing all the conditions, Adan couldn't help but curse loudly. Hearing his loud shout, Yun Seora stirred a little but was still miraculously asleep.
Noticing that Yun Seora was stirring when he shouted, Adan soon 'calmed down' and started to calmly walk towards the nearest wall.
The guides and the survivors looked at Adan in confusion but still stayed quiet knowing that the poor man was suffering through the case of being salty to the things he received from the gacha machine.
As soon as Adan arrived in front of the wall, he started softly patting the wall. After the soft pats, Adan slowly turned around and silently walked towards the guides and the survivors.
Looking at him in utter confusion now, the people around Adan looked at him like he went crazy but soon understand what he did to the wall when they saw it slowly crumble to the ground.
The guides that were about to start whatever they were saying were interrupted when Adan dropped two pouches of coins in the hat the little blondie was holding.
Han quickly turned around to stop Adan pass through the portal cause he was going to say something felt a little speechless when he saw that Adan and Yun Seora were gone.
Han's eyes twitched as he shouted, "Who the fuck does this guy think he is!? Just because he killed the Gaekgwi singlehanded he thinks himself to be important?! FUCK!! IF I GET MY HANDS ON THAT GUY I'LL- !! GAHHHH!!!!"
The survivors could only chuckle or giggle at the frustrated guide but it seems that the little girl didn't really care about the guide's opinion as she said, "Hehehehehe, that ahjussi is funny!"
Hearing what the little girl said, Han could only look at the portal in frustration as he shouted, "FUUUUUCK!!!!! LOOK WHAT THE CHILD CALLED ME YOU BASTARD!!! COME BACK HEREEEEE!!!!"
Looking like he was ready to throw himself into the portal, Han readied himself to jump but was stopped by the little blondie holding on to his arms while shaking her head left and right.
When the little blondie saw that Han was looking at her, she then gestured towards the other survivors who were looking at him in amusement but were still patiently waiting for him to start the explanation.
Quickly composing himself, the guide gave them an apologetic smile and said, "I'm sorry everyone for that unsightly display. I was just frustrated that all of us waited for him but he just went ahead into the portal without listening to any of my explanations."
Shin Sang-Ah nodded her head in understanding and said, "We know how you feel. That guy just goes ahead of everyone and when we finally caught up with him, he annoys the hell out of us."
The guide nodded at her in thanks for 'comforting' him and said, "Now, shall we proceed with the explanation?"
Hyun Sangmin quickly nodded his head at the guide and replied like he was in a hurry, "Can we please hurry this up? We don't know what that guy will be doing in there and if this isn't the only area for people who want to get into Paradise then we don't know what that guy will do to the others."
The guide paled at his words and started the explanation, "I'll keep this short. I will start by announcing all of your achievements.
Hyun Sangmin - 285 points

Now go! Catch up to that arrogant idiot!"
The survivors looked at him in shock and wanted to say something but were quickly pushed into the portal after being taken robbed off of their coins.
While Yi Sungjin was being pushed away, he shouted, "EHHHH!? Aren't we going to talk about Seol Oppa's points!?!"
The guides quickly stopped their pushing as if they remembered something important as Han said, "Oh, right. With Seol having the [Mark of Survival] he has a total amount of 30,860 points due to the ten times increase of said mark."
"""EHHHHHH!?!?"""
"Yes, now, goodbye! And please don't let that idiot do anything stupid or eye-catching," Han gave them an encouraging smile as he pushed all of them into the portal with the little blondie.
