1 Chapter 1

Yo! I'm just trying my luck in writing a good story for once. If you haven't noticed, this book was supposed to be my rewrite for my original fanfic but I discarded that idea and made a new one. Hope you guys enjoy the book!

A young man around the age of 18 found himself glaring at an innocent-looking couple. The young man had black-hair, chocolate-brown eyes, and wore black pants, a white t-shirt, and a pair of black shoes.

The couple he was glaring at were a pair of 16-year-old students. The girl had short brown hair, 'innocent'-looking brown eyes, whilst wearing a short black dress with leggings on.

The young man then turned towards the boy and saw that he was wearing a blue polo t-shirt with a white undershirt while wearing jeans and some black shoes to complete the attire.

The young man's gaze lingered on the girl more than her lover as his glare intensified. He wanted to tell himself that this scene wasn't happening and that he was just hallucinating but cleared all of those thoughts away when he saw the girl lean in towards her companion and gave him a kiss.

Seeing her kiss the guy beside her, the young man flew into a rage and ran up to the girl and punched her in the face. The girl then stumbled on her feet and fell on the ground while caressing her face.

The guy that the girl was with was shocked at the sudden turn of events and just stared at the girl for a couple of seconds. When the girl finally sat up, the guy shouted, "Jessica! Are you alright!?"

Jessica looked at him as if he was stupid and thought, 'The fuck are you asking? Why don't I punch YOU in the face and ask if you're alright!?'

The guy looked embarrassed as Jessica gave him a weird stare and look at his companion's assailant and shouted, "OI!! Why'd you punched my girl out of the blue like that!?"

When Jessica finally looked at her assailant, she was shocked. She didn't know what to say and just silently stood up and stood beside her 'lover'.

Seeing that the young man wasn't saying anything, the guy grew angrier and wanted to run-up to the young man and start to beat him up. But the guy didn't do it as his 'girlfriend' tugged his shirt and shook her head.

The young man was seething in rage while looking at the couple while the people around them were just watching the drama.

As the young man was about to say something, Jessica interrupted him and said, "Adan! What in the world are you doing here?! And why'd you punch me!?"

The guy Jessica was with looked at her in confusion and asked, "You know this guy?"

Jessica looked at the guy and hissed, "Shut up Brian!"

Brian hurriedly shut his mouth as he glared at Adan. Adan ignored the glare that he was receiving from Brian and asked Jessica, "How long? How long were you meeting up with this guy!?"

Jessica looked at Brian and then at Adan and sighed while saying, "I didn't expect you to crawl out of your home and see me like this. But did you have to punch me!? Didn't your mother teach you to never hit a lady?!"

Adan's intensified and said, "You're no lady. You're just a slut. A thot."

Jessica rolled her eyes at him and said, "Yeah, yeah, call me whatever you want. And for how long I've been dating Brian? Like around... three to four months? Give or take."

Adan's eyes widened as he registered what Jessica said, "Four months!? You've been cheating for 4 fucking months!?"

Jessica rolled her eyes again and said, "Yeah, so what? What's that got to do with you? And now that I remember it, can you give me my allowance now? I'm kind of short of money at the moment."

Adan's silently clenched his fist and said, "You don't deserve the money that he keeps giving you. You're just a gold digger. He's been in a coma for 2 months and just recently woke up and you've been using all the money that he keeps giving you for your dates!?"

Brian looked at Adan and gave him a look of contempt and said, "Yeah, so what? Jess over here has been my girl for 2 years now and that Henry dude is just her sugar daddy or something. They just go on into little dates as she sucks up all the money that guy has and we've been sharing it for quite a while now."

Jessica looked proud when Brian called her his girl and then looked at Adan and said, "So why don't you just shut up and don't talk to your best friend over this. Capeech?"

Adan glared at her one last time and spat at her face. He then turned around and continued walking towards the hospital.

Brian helped Jessica wipe the spit from her left eye and turned towards Adan to beat him up for spitting on his girl but found him nowhere to be seen.

Seeing that the drama was finally over, the crowd that was circling the three dispersed and continued on in their merry ways. But many of the people that were there looked at Jessica and Brian in contempt before leaving.

Adan could be seen standing in front of room number 1. He kept remembering that slutty face of Jessica and remembered all the times that he tried to cheer her up during Henry's coma but it seems that she didn't even need it.

Adan steeled his will and slowly turned the doorknob and thought to himself, 'No matter what happens, I'm telling Henry this. I can't let him stay love-struck over that thot!'

But when he entered the room, Adan was surprised to see a young man who had brown hair, blue eyes look at his phone lifelessly.

He then hurried towards his friend's side and asked, "Bro! Hey! Henry! What happened?! Are you okay dude?"

Henry mechanically turned towards Adan looked at his eyes. Adan was surprised to see the always cheerful eyes of his friend look so dead. He then glanced at Henry's phone and saw a video playing.

Adan was surprised to see that someone made a video from earlier and looked at his friend who seemed lifeless. He then silently embraced Henry who started to silently cry. He doesn't know how it feels to be cheated on but he sure as hell knew that he'll be helping his friend through this.

It's been 2 months since the incident with Jessica and Adan couldn't help but be happy to see his friend cut off all ties he had with his ex-girlfriend. Whatever money Jessica had? It was going down the drain faster than she got it.

Unknown to Jessica, all the money Brian has been spending 'their' money on was gambling. And unluckily for them, Brian had the luck of Tsunade on his side.

Adan could be seen holed up in his house once again and silently watched the first episode of Redo of Healer while grinning like a maniac.

After the episode was done, Adan got out of his bed and went towards the kitchen. He knew that his mother and father wouldn't be back until 9-10 PM and shrugged off the silence of the house.

When he opened the fridge, Adan let out a tired sigh as he found it to be empty, 'Good thing I still have money on me right now or I'm going to starve here.'

He then walked out of the house and went towards the only convenience store near them. As Adan was passing the bridge, he glanced at the figure standing on the railings like he was going to jump and thought, 'How the fuck is that dude balancing on the railings while fighting of the fear of falling?'

Adan then continued on his merry way but looked at the person once last time and thought, 'Hmmm, that person over there looks pretty damn familiar.'

He silently walked in a little closer and surprise, surprise!

It was his father balancing on the railings.

Adan's eyes widened in shock and ran towards his father and pulled him before he could even jump. He then sighed in relief when he saw his father on the ground while clutching his heart in panic.

His father then turned towards him and looked at Adan in surprise. Before Adan could even say anything, the surprise in his father's face was quickly replaced with fury as his father said, "You no-good son! Why did you have to pull me away!? I just wanted to escape from this shitty world and be done with it! I'm so tired of everything and everyone!"

Adan looked at his father in surprise and his father, "What the hell dad!? What do you mean by that!? Everything is going fine for us! You recently got promoted, mom's career as a writer is smooth sailing, and I'll be out of your hair when I go to college! What's so wrong in your life that you just want to jump off the bridge?!"

As Adan looked at his father closely, he can now see that his father's clothes were messy, his hair looked like it was going to fall at any moment now, and his eyes were bloodshot, 'What the fuck is happening to him?'

His father then started crying and shouted, "Nothing's wrong? Nothing's wrong!? What the fuck do you mean by nothing's wrong!? I just found out that your mother's 'career' was just her excuse to be a pornstar, you're never going to college, and I lost my fucking job this evening!"

Adan looked at his father in surprise and thought, 'What!? No, this can't be happening. Mom couldn't do that to us. Now that I-'

Adan's train of thought was interrupted when heard his father say, "And it was all because of you!"

Adan looked at his father in shock and glanced at the crowding people and asked, "What do you mean that it's my fault?"

His father looked at him in contempt and shoved him after saying, "If it wasn't for you humiliating the daughter of the Camille family, then our family wouldn't be in such a state! Your mother wouldn't be in her career! And I wouldn't have lost my job!"

Adan's body flew a good distance from his father as Adan looked at his mother in shock due to the shocking information and due to his father's strength.

As Adan was standing up, the people around him were shouting the same thing but due to how loud his surrounding was, he was confused on how he couldn't understand what they were saying.

*HOOOOOONNNKKK*

Adan looked towards his right and saw a big ass truck coming his way. The truck was a 10-wheeler of a nightmare and its headlights were colored red for some reason. Adan looked at his shocked father one last time and thought, 'What kind of cliche-'
