13 Author's Notes #1 (Not a Chapter)

Getting alot of questions and i figured i would answer them and maybe put some thoughts down.

Why i'm not releasing chapters faster. I've gotten quite a few messages asking for a faster release and what-not so i want to tackle this first. I don't know about others, but writing is hard. I have tons of ideas and scenarios play out in my head quite a bit, but transferring that onto paper and making it a coherent story is harder than it seems (to me atleast). Extending the release date from every day to every two days gives me plenty of time to get my thoughts out correctly so i'm not rushing and writing something i feel is sub-par just because i have to hurry and pump it out. I have the general outline of what i'm doing with the story and where its eventually going to end up and finally end. But that doesn't mean i have everything ready for every world down to the detail. Hell, i'm not even set on which world is going to be next out of a list of a few. As i mentioned previously, i do have chapters saved up for later worlds but i'm not there yet and it may be while to get to that point.

Speaking of the future, there is an overarching plot that has started recently. While i enjoy just going to another world and mucking around, i felt it would be better with more structure to go along with that. An actual objective to be fulfilled, not just having fun. I set goals early on and i set a vague job along with an unknown enemy. Somes world he will be going back to, maybe on missions, maybe just to visit. I'm separating the entire story into three 'books'. The first book is Alex by himself traveling. The second book is when he meets back up with Medusa. And the Third book is a secret for now. I have no set length on how long they're going to be yet.

I have some thoughts to break the 'mold' for when the story progresses more. Events are going to happen that cause chaos in quite a few places.

Now to talk about the current arc and how it pertains to future arcs. I'm taking it slow, i think thats obvious so far. The first plot point was jumped into immediately but once Alex began to interact witht he world, it slowed down. Its not just going to be non-stop action and plot points. I may even make up my own developments that aren't canon. In my opinion, when the worlds feel more alive, and the characters are more flushed out, incidents and fights feel more impactful. If i just had this arc be like 5 chapters with the ending reveal being like 'yo i'm king Arthur' it would be meh as opposed to setting up these budding relationships. Alex forging bonds with those around him and then finally being like yeah i'm actually the former King of Camelot. Thats my opinion atleast, i feel like the 'epic moments' having more set up provides a better pay-out.

I think i covered most of what i wanted and i can't think of anything else at the moment. As always leave any suggestions about worlds or anything like that. I don't guarantee i'll use any but they sometimes gives me good ideas.
